Saltgrass Steak House was outstanding! The food was absolutely fire--everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and exceeded our expectations. The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and paid great attention to every detail, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. From start to finish, it was a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Laughlin!

Located downstairs in the Golden Nugget on the riverwalk. Arrived for an early dinner. We were greeted immediately and seated at one of the window tables. We had an awesome view of the Colorado River. Charles, Our server, took our drink and appetizer order while we scanned the menu. Charles was very polite, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend you ask to be served by Charles. He was very helpful with our questions and made perfect recommendations. My favorite mushroom appetizer was served piping hot with a ranch dip. My smothered ribeye was cooked to perfection and the large serving of broccoli was the perfect with my steak. Service and food never disappoints. It is consistently top notch. I suggest you make reservations. If you don't have reservations arrive early and seating won't be a problem.

First time coming here around 5:30ish pm, it was super busy and packed,live atmosphere ..the service was perfect. Our server was great and very attentive. I was honestly surprised by how good the food was. I ordered the Wagon Boss Cut Sirloin (8 oz) with a fully loaded baked potato and lobster, and it was delicious. Everything my party ordered was amazing! The food had real flavor not just salt and pepper, but actually well seasoned and tasty. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back!

Always sooo good!! We shared a ribeye and it was perfect the green beans, wedge salad, and the cheese potatoes (think potato skins chopped up! ) all sooo good! Isaiah are waiter was excellent! Was here for the appetizers and drinks, they give good serving size of bread as well. I had some shrimp jalapeño poppers which were delicious and a Mai tai as well as a mint pomegranate drink. drinks here are very tasty. Service is awesome and I highly recommend this place for great drinks and service.

Forgot to make a reservation for our large group of 10. They told us the weight could be up to an hour, but we have eaten here EVERYTIME, and wanted our friends to try it, so we stayed. We only had to wait for 15 minutes and we got a table with the river view (thank you staff). We were treated like kings, our cups were never empty, salads and soups came out quick, hot and fresh. Even the appetizers came out before our main courses (which is a plus, in my book). The steaks were all cooked to perfection and the grump was grilled perfectly as well, I love it when you can taste the fire from. Grill. I am so glad that over the years, the service and food have never gone down it's always amazing, so that when you want to show off your #1 steak spot to your travel buddies, it does not disappoint, rather it continues the chain, and it becomes their #1 spot. Thank you again for amazing service(even with our large party) great food from fresh fresh crispy lettuce and amazing chunky blue cheese dressing, to my juicy tender steak and perfect loaded baked potato.

I took my husband to this steakhouse for his birthday. The first thing I would like to acknowledge is how attentive the staff were. Giselle and Chloe are just a two of the amazing employees that gave us some of the best service we've ever had. Seriously their service is impeccable. Their food was also delicious. I had the filet mignon prepared, medium rare with fried asparagus on the side. Both were delicious. The asparagus had a great crunch on the outside and a nice crisp on the inside. I saved the homemade ranch dressing I got with my salad to dip my asparagus in, and it was mouthwateringly delicious. We really enjoyed the ambience of this restaurant and took several interesting pictures of their decor. We had such an amazing birthday dinner that we can't wait to return. Thank you so much for such wonderful service and fantastic food.

So came here looking to get a steak for dinner. Service was the clear winner of my experience. Food was good. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. But for the price thought it should come with two sides instead of one. Ambiance is good and definitely know you're in a steak house.

Made a reservation about a month ago and when we showed up they were ready to sit us. We had a great river view! It was 5 of us and even with the picky eaters in tour party we were taken care of all the time. Our drinks were fast, and the level of detail when taking our order was impressive. Everything came out at the same time, proper temperatures. The dressings in the salads were definitely fresh (made in house) and the portions right. The same with the steaks: all came out cooked as ordered, except for the sirloin steak that was well done and was a little chewy because of that. The sides (baked potato, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans) were also perfectly portioned and flavorful. This place is always been consistent when it comes to flavors and service. We always enjoy our means here when we are in town!

Tried Saltgrass for the first time, the restaurant is amazing and clean, the atmosphere was great, our steaks were cooked to perfection and the service was great. The prices were kinda expensive but well worth the price. This was a very good experience.

I was excited to eat here. Super fail. Our reservation was 6:15, we tried to check in at 6:10 and were told we had to wait until 6:15, okay no problem. Went back to check in then waited another 15 minutes. My steak which I ordered medium was well well done and chewy, bake potato was not cooked and crunchy. The chip and queso were the star here. There were a lot of staff members just standing around talking instead of helping the other servers who were slammed. Our server was extremely busy and couldn't keep up. I would not eat here again.

All that's left of the steak, even ate the meat off the bone.

Made reservations for Christmas Day. Service is not up to par for me. The young lady hostess needed more training. This is supposed to be an upscale steakhouse. I understand there's a pandemic. I asked if I could get a drink at the bar and she says no we're full. But a couple of older white people we're allowed to go to the bar. The couple standing behind me looked at me and I looked at them like what just happened. My chicken fried steak was returned I didn't like it at all. It was rough at chewy. The green pickles peppers combo appetizer was just ok . That was just a mess the green pickles were good but nothing else. My husband enjoyed his steak it was very flavorful. My wedge salad was delicious. The three stars is for your rude hostage . And horrible chicken friend streak . The second hostess with the long eyelashes brown hair and she was super nice. This place has always been good. Whatever order, you are going to enjoy it. We had dropped by to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday, and she ordered some kind of specialty martini. It was called something like pinktini for breast cancer awareness, and I usually am a mai-tai drinker ( I mean you usually can't go wrong, right?), but her drink was way better than mine. My mai-tai wasn't bad. I was happy, until I tried hers, anyways. I honestly don't know if they would still have this drink available anymore, since it was to raise money for breast cancer awareness. This is no joke one of the best restaurants in the area. The food is always top notch and cooked to perfection. It's just a bummer they don't take reservations because they are busy and it can be a wait! So worth it though! For appetizers Range Rattlers are our favorite! I love the salmon Oscar. And my husband always gets a steak and it's always cooked right it can get a Little loud, but it's a good time. I love the grilled pineapple Margarita! Thanksgiving in Laughlin and we really wanted Thai food but all the Thai places were closed. Thank goodness Saltgrass was open, as we both had never heard of it and are now new fans of this place and the chain! The place is straight out of Texas and has the antlers and wild game on the wall to prove it. Our waiter was quick to give us each tall glasses of water and a small fresh loaf of warm bread and sweet butter. Sweet Jesus, I'm sold! For my dinner, I ordered the ribs and chicken, which came with soup or salad as well as a vegetable. I got a side salad with honey mustard dressing and it was freakin' awesome!!! Like, exactly how I always want my salads with honey mustard to taste but they rarely do. Nice cheddar cheese slivers on it, homemade croutons and not too much dressing. So fresh and it was also cold, which I surprisingly liked. Go figure! The ribs and chicken were also excellent. The chicken breast was well marinated and had nice char marks on it and was so juicy and the ribs literally fell off the bone and had a delicous bbq sauce on top. BF got the rib eye steak and broccoli. He was happy with his dish as I was with mine. We were debating between Bubba Gumps and here and did not regret our decision for one second. Excellent quality, excellent food, ambiance and service. We will be back the next time we come to town! read more

I don't think I've ever wrote a bad review until now. I just ate at the Pearland Saltgrass. I ordered chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and a salad. The best thing about the meal was the water. I've never had a worse meal. Absolutely inedible!! The potato's were old. The gravy was awful. The chicken fried steak was horrible. The gravy on top almost gave a gage reflux. The meat had the taste of sand. Really sand. Even the bread was wheat, cold and day old or more. I doubt if anyone from Saltgrass will read this or even care. The waitstaff were professional but they are not responsible for bad (don't care cooks) food probably old product. read more

It was my first time in Laughling and and my friend had recommended a few places but unfortunately or fortunately they were closed week days during this pandemic. So I went to Yelp for recommendations and this place had good reviews and the pictures people posted looked good so I decided to give it a try and I was blown away. 1, because they didn't take reservations so right away my expectations were low but since the minute you a walk in, you're greeted like family lol, the waiter came really fast and recommended a few things. I had seen the Garlic Sauted Mashoors and it looked sooo good, and it did. The steak was done to perfect and the wine was very good too. Everything was fast, great plate presentation and the food was succulent. I was expecting a BIG BILL not at all. Very reasonable prices too. GREAT AMBIANCE TOO. They follow social distancing and follow Covid 19 guidelines were applied very well. I Am definitely coming back. Keep up the good work. Highly recommended read more

So my friend raved about this place being the best steakhouse she had ever been too and she would not eat anywhere else. Well, went in with high expectations and it was just average. Had the steak and shrimp. Grilled shrimp was nothing special. Ordered my steak medium well and it came out still mooing. It wasn't bad, just nothing special. Baked potato was good and so was the salad. I put this on the same level as an Outback. Solid food, decent prices, but definitely not the best steak house ever, but might be one of the best in Laughlin. Very if the River was nice and the staff were friendly and attentive. Very upset. This was our favorite place to eat in Laughlin until tonite. We arrived at 8:40 and they wouldn't seat us. The Hostesses told us that they stopped seating people an hour earlier (so at 7:40 they stopped seating people???) we ended up eating st Bubba Gumps across the way. Came in with a group of 3 on Sunday around 4 for their happy hour. There was no wait and our waiter Fernando was wonderful. The beer bread was nice and the food took a while to come out. We ordered 2 Steak and Shrimps for the 3 of us. The steak was too well done and hard to swallow. Both of our steaks were supposed to be medium well, but they were very well done with no hint of pink. We let Fernando know and he apologized and kindly offered to take it back, but we decided to smothered it with Heinz steak sauce which helped significantly. The fried shrimps were very good with delicious cocktail sauce. The fried onion was too oily and not so good. The brussel sprouts were okay, much better than the fried onion. The 3 of us were content with the 2 dishes. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something different for happy hour. read more

I don't know what all the whining is all about. This place rocks Annalisa rocks as a server. Attentive and she nailed all my little requests. Bacon wrapped filet MR and grilled shrimp were perfect. My daughters ribeye was out of this world delicious. Best part was it didn't break the bank account. I'll be back. Don't miss out on a great meal at Saltgrass Steak House. read more

Aw man, I have a to give this place a "Bad" My wife and I come here every time we're in Laughlin, and it one of our favorite restaurants. Usually We eat here and afterwards play slots and sometimes we walk away with a couple of hundred. Tonight the salt grass was bad. We ordered steak (filete) and lobster (which is not on the menu BTW) Anyway the lobster was so bad , we could not even get it out of the shell Ugh! A steak and lobster dinner is an elegant dinner, you should not have to fight to get it out of the shell , under cooked , to much seasoning (pepper?) The steak was good. But not having lobster cooked right ruins your meal. The margarita I ordered, had so much ice , it left no room for the margarita. So my wife suggested (get a margarita with no ice,mmmm good idea! So they bring the margarita in a smallllll glass, (not in the big glass like the other) it struck me funny, and laughed, but I emptied half of it in the big glass with ice, and was able to get 2 drinks out of one !!!! This place was really good and the service was great and fast. We had no complaints with our food. Their Cesar salad is one of the best ones I've tasted this far and my husband said his tortilla soup was really good (and he's not a soup or salad person lol) I like the location since it's inside golden nugget. Wait time was a hour and thirty BUT there is plenty for you to do while you wait. We gambled and won :) One thing I appreciate about this establishment is the honesty and Integrity they have. After dinner we ended up gambling again and I noticed my credit card was missing and the only place I could think of was the restaurant because I'm pretty good with not losing things. My husband and I went back there and they had my card :) so grateful for the waiter and the manager for putting my card up. read more

This time was unacceptable. We won't ever come back. The young man working the register, serving drinks, bussing tables by and cleaning up around the whole seating area and buffet area was the only one really working and the only friendly person there. All the food looked old and dry, some worse than others and we had to ask a couple of times if they could make more because it looked gross and really old(what was left anyways) all of the desserts were literally hard as rocks, even my favorite donut sugar balls. Taste was off and they were hard and crunchy. I literally showed my hubs by jamming my fork in it (took three tries) and tapping it on the plate. Hard as a rock. Sushi looked and tasted great but the stir fry ingredients were all dried out, including the sliced meats. There was an older man there, the older always grumpy faced lady and the two younger girls there but they didn't do much. There was an older gentleman who walked in and stood waiting at the register for quite a while before saying "hello?!" I had to tell the young girl that the man needed help but she didn't help him. The older lady just stood at the back watching and the young man came running out from making drinks to help this man. Because when we got there everything was either old and gross looking or the tray we're almost empty, I didn't eat much. Oh and since all the desserts were old and rock hard hubs tried to get an ice cream but unfortunately there was none. Boo Sad that no one there seems to care about the quality of the food and service. There over an hr and not once did anyone ask if we needed anything or refill our drinks. Oh and the booth back rest was broken so the big guy seated behind me had me bouncing around in my seat every time he moved. Which he did a lot. Annoying.

We stayed 5.5 miles away, on the River Walk, made the leisurely return drive to Bonito once we saw the colorful frontage on an earlier foray into Bullhead City for necessary provisions once we RECOILED from the sky high prices at the Harrah's Tropicana (ex, $7.49 for a 20oz jar of Diet Pepsi). BG greets its guests with festive, brightly painted dark orange. We began our course with a titanic mango margarita. To their credit, they feature warmed bean dip topped with crumbled queso fresco as an accompaniment to their chips/salsa. Leti, after choosing BG for its seafood heavy menu, threw a curve and opted for a bowl of birria soup. I chose an Asada Chimichanga with a duo of asada tacos dorados. The tortillas are handmade and delicious! Both Leti and I marveled at the quality of the house Mexican rice, super fresh, fluffed and teeming with a light, florid tomato-dense taste complimented by Lima beans. Quite the refreshing departure from the bland rice dispensed by 90% of Mexican restaurants! My wife said that her Caldo de Birria was good...but that it wasn't super plentiful in meat. My chimi arrived golden brown with a heap of melted cheddar jack cheese bullseyed on the top. The interior is studded with asada, bell peppers and onions. First time I've ever seen bell peppers utilized inside burritos! The asada crunchy (dorado) tacos were generously stuffed with asada...but zero accompaniments like onions/cilantro/lettuce or tomato. I hadta redeploy the lettuce/tomato served alongside my chili, inside my tacos! If you're gonna charge $5/Taco at least send them properly attired! Gentle suggestion: Consider offering guests a side serving of fresh lettuce, tomato, diced onions and cilantro to dress up their tacos. Or, serve them with a ramekin of steamy birria broth... The mango marg was not "super sweet" (as our server Daniela had described) and we both thought it was stingy on the tequila, esp for its $16.99 belt, er, tab. Our bill was $86 incl taxes and tip for two entrees, a cocktail and a soda.
