The complimentary homemade bread is possibly the best thing ever! It's enough to make me choose coming to the Saltgrass than any other eatery in the area. The pricing is comparable to even lesser quality eateries in the area, so I will definitely be eating here again on my future vacations. I had the Nashville Spicy Chicken Sandwich and it was sooooo good! The fried chicken and cole slaw combo is amazingly flavorful and delicious. The soft brioche bun does break a part when you're trying to eat it, but it's still worth it! My dad had the Salmon Oscar and he really liked it as well! Paid the upcharge for asparagus, and it was breaded. I prefer my asparagus not to be breaded and fried.. So be aware of that if you also don't like your veggies breaded and fried either because the menu doesn't specify. The garlic mash potatoes was the best part of my meal, and the fried onion appetizer (which is like fried shoe string potatoes with a zesty sauce (similar to the blooming onion sauce at Outback). It was due to a spider/daddy long leg falling from the ceiling or stuffed dear head above our table on to a plate of food. The spider was put into a napkin and given to a server . We were sure the restaurant would have either given us another plate or COMP one plate since we spent over $400. Instead, we were offered a piece of cake. :( I would strongly recommend that the cleaning crew go throughout the entire restaurant and dust from the ceiling down should this happened to another customer they probably would not be so nice. So I called two weeks before I knew we would be out there for a party of 6 and one high chair . Due covid restrictions we were unable to sit together. Which fine they had social distancing in full effect. The staff was friendly and wearing mask. Our waitress was very attentive and the restaurant was clean and decorated like a steakhouse. I love the fireplace and the coziness the restaurant offered. For me and my party personally we felt it was a little overrated. Though our steaks were good and cooked to our preferences. The steaks lacked flavoring along with my sides. My lobster tail was over cooked, firm and also lacked some flavor. I honestly expected more mouth watering flavors. My grilled pineapple margarita was very delicious - little in the sweeter side but still very good. I am glad I got eat here so I was able to trying myself. Idk if I would go back because it wasn't what I imagined. But I recommend you try for your self and give to form your own opinion hopefully if you order lobster tail you have a better taste experience then me , one thing I would suggest is a salty butter to pair with the lobster tail. I ordered a solid Wedge Salad but was only able to finish 75% of it because my entree arrived way too early. This is my biggest pet peeve in service at a restaurant. We have come here fairly often, it's our favorite restaurant. We have now moved to Bullhead City so we wanted a nice restaurant for date night, it had been awhile. As in the past, the service was excellent and the food was awesome! We both got the rib eye and they couldn't have been any better! I got the 12oz and he got the 16oz, we both took some home! The fried mushrooms and the salad were delicious as always. Their salads are the BEST! I love how they are chilled!
