We have eaten here a few times, but the customer service is horrible and the food is not good enough to make up for it. We came in for Mother's Day Brunch. We had made reservations and used the word "reservations" to reserve a table for 14 of us. We called that morning to confirm before heading over. When we arrived, we were told that they don't do reservations, they only do call-ahead seating and that our name would be put into the list and we could wait for our table. We would have left, but there was no way we were going to find somewhere else to go at 11:00am on Mother's Day, so we decided to stick it out. 45 minutes later, we were seated. The food on the buffet was not that good. There were a couple of dishes that were great, but a lot of it was mediocre at best. We will not be returning. read more

The waitresses and other staff are not friendly and clueless. We have been three times now and have had to wait forever for every part of the meal. The food was horrible and overpriced. Also most of the menu wasn't being offered because they ran out of it. We live in Piedmont and sadly we were very disappointed and won't go back again. read more

Steak was cooked perfectly to order. My wife really enjoyed the shrimp. It was well worth the trip to Piedmont.

A nice restaurant that you don't have to go to Woodruff Rd for. The menu has changed recently and so has the food. It is better! I like the changes! The staff is very nice. The prices are not bad. I feel like the quality is worth the cost here. I have never used it, but they do have a bar that seems pretty well stocked. Parking can sometimes be tricky if they are very busy. The food is on the poorer side of mediocre. 2 out of the 3 steaks weren't cook to the correct degree. Burgers were cold and the chicken clubs were awful. Cute location but the food isn't worth it. The blooming onion was good ( gotta give credit where credit is due) read more

I've reviewed successfully before but had a terrible experience today and felt the need to share. We called and asked for a reservation a week before Mother's Day. I called and updated it the night before. Then, I called 45 minutes prior to arrival that they had everything. Our party arrived on-time. And, The hostess told us they don't take reservations but we are some how miraculously on the list. Now, in addition to the previous two times they could have attempted to make this right...now, we have to wait 45 minutes and the owner is hiding in the back and doing everything he can to avoid the growing problem literally at his front door. Figuring we had no other option on a Sunday in the bible belt and nearing church exodus time...we painfully waited with our party of 15. The staff was in a crummy mood from the confusion and lack of leadership and the owner never made an attempt to apologize. The food was decent especially for the value. Let me clarify, the breakfast eats were fresh and good, the lunch eats were a little dried out and didn't seem as fresh. Some simple leadership to face the problem head-on, train your staff to handle some pressure, and some customer service from all could have saved this situation. Instead, I have a Mother's Day I will never forget and its not for the right reasons. read more

Beautiful restaurant but the service and food are terrible. Long wait for our food and no that busy at all. Waitress forgot to bring out salads and brought them when the meal was almost finished and the salad is the best item. Very dissapointed. Over priced food. read more

They still don't have bartender that can mix a basic drink. The food was good. Seasoned well, but lightly.

This restaurant has a lot of charm and a great selection of food. The staff was friendly and the service was good. I ordered shrimp and grits and really enjoyed it. Hubby had frog legs. He said they were really good as well. My portion was so large that I brought home most of it. The seating is limited though and it was very busy. I would suggest trying this restaurant out on a week night. Apparently there is a popular Sunday Brunch too. read more

We went there 2 weeks in a row. We were in a party of 4 last week and a party of 6 last night. I ordered the same think both nights. The first week we had a very good waitress and last night we had a very weak waitress who was not very efficient. One person had the salmon both times and really liked it. My wife had salmon last week and chicken Marsala last night. She liked the salmon last week but the Marsala was floating in butter...........a lot of it. There is no excuse for that. I got two large pieces of flounder last week and it was prepared very well.......nicely brown. Last night I got 2 very small pieces (About half of last week) and it was fried so lightly that I was concerned about it being fully cooked. I think that they need some QC and some management in the kitchen to make things more consistant. It will be a while before I am willing to try it again. I do not like to discuss problems with the management but if it happens next time, I may have to. It is a beautiful old mill building with some windows overlooking the lake and has a nice ambience. read more

Steak was very salty would have been better off licking a salt block this is the second time I have been here the first was when they first opened food was decent then but not the best ever had tonight was probably the worst steak I have ever had ordered at a restaurant I ordered the sirloin medium rare when the meal was brought to the table I cut it as always to see if properly cooked it was a little over cooked was gonna overlook that and just have a nice meal with family but that first bite of steak that taste like pure salt it went back they did offer to cook another but I declined it and anything else on their menu due to food not being that good the first time I ate there father in law complained about the sautéed mushrooms he got as a side not tasting right as if they satire them in plain water not flavor at all needless to say I will never be back to this restaurant the food and service just plain ass sucks here read more
