Just finished our vacation with the second meal here in a row. Wish we had discovered it earlier on our trip! Gluten free pizza was enjoyed by my girlfriend, they also offered gluten free pasta as well. Fried mozzarella was the best I ever had, lightly fried and sitting on some awesome marinara that had just the right amount of fresh basil in it. Penne w/vodka sauce was out of this world, best I've ever had, pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. Service was great and the prices are fair for the quality and freshness of the food. This restaurant was the one bright light to a full trip to Lake George. We were seated inside at a table by the window and was greeted pleasantly by Shelby. Two glasses of a generous pour of Firesteed Pinot Noir were promptly brought over and we placed our order...Mussels marinara for our appetizer, classic bolognese with pappardelle pasta and bone in braised short rib. The mussels arrived hot and was a full plate of properly prepared beauties. The gravy was bread soaking delish but in order to not fill up in bread I used my spoon to gather up the gravy that was left. Dinner too was brought to the table piping hot... I love that! These people know how to cook and better yet, they know how to serve up dishes that are generous. We totally enjoyed each and every bite of this delicious meal. We had dinner here on a thurs night. Sat inside Bc it is muscle car weekend and it was very loud. The food was delicious! We got the bread w garlic $7. Personally i think all restaurants should give that for free. Fruiti de Mari seafood on pasta and the Eggplant pasta. And Terimesu for dessert . It was a lot on the plate. So we had doggie bags. On the pricey side but is expected as it's a tourist area . Service was great. Menu is abbreviated as a lot of restaurants are due to Covid. But worth it. Whoa. Family of four and we had two sets of vodka sauce and bolognese. Individual with meat listed as 24. Quite the shock that ordering family style vs individual was 80 for vodka and 100 bolognese. Do not order family style. Nothing is worth 216 bill for four. We had asked when we ordered since we wanted two of each of family style was better. Waitress said it was. Service was terrible. Waited for 20 mins at the table before someone came to take our order. Watched people that were seated after us get served before us. No check ins from wait staff to make sure we were ok or to refill water. 55 mins later and still waiting for food. Not even any complimentary bread or anything while we waited. Loved the service. We had a party of 9 and they didn't flinch at the number. The food was excellent - all of it: the eggplant rigatoni, the mussels, the pesto shrimp. Dillon, a very conscientious server, was so polite and welcoming. He did great with all 5 of our kids! I had dinner with a friend at Salutis for the first time a few weeks ago. We sat at the bar and our meals were great. My friend had chicken franscaise and I had the chicken Parmesan. We have been coming to LG since I was a baby (I'm 37) and we have some pretty standard restaurants we go to. This year we tried out Saluti and it did not disappoint. Absolutely the best meal I can ever remember having while up at the lake and the food was matched by the quality of the staff. Our waitress was outstanding and the support staff of runners bring food and clearing between courses was quick, courteous, and friendly. We were dining with two young girls (4&6) and a baby (1) and they were amazing about bringing us the kids food quickly and extra drinks as needed to keep them happy. We are excited to have a good Italian place! Everything we tried was delicious. We ordered a bread board and fried mozzarella and Cesar salads to start. The fried mozzarella is fresh mozzarella, lightly breaded and served in a pool of their delicious marinara. My only negative feedback is that the bread board was a little underwhelming, especially for the price. The loaf was small for 4 people, and we expecting an assortment of breads for the additional cost. It was really a Demi baguette with a roasted bulb of garlic and butter, it was decent but not worth the price. My husband had the special, saltimbocca, which was excellent. I went with penne all's vodka, which was also excellent. Nicely balanced flavors. Our girls got pizza and were impressed. Came into this place because we saw that it was new and oh my goodness it's so good!! Extremely friendly staff, cute atmosphere, great cocktails!! We stopped in today for a happy hour cocktail and I had the blackberry drink and it was fantastic! My mom had the pear martini and said it was the best one she's ever had, and dad loved his mojito! I have a mixed review to share. Yelp indicated that Saluti was open at 4pm on Wednesday, but we arrived shortly after 4pm and it was closed. There was no note on the door indicating when the new hours of operation are, since Labor Day just passed and the tourism season is waning. Calling the phone number provided by Yelp yielded no answer or outgoing message indicating what a possible patron might expect for future opening dates and times. It's an odd way to run your restaurant business. I gave them another call the next morning and someone answered and indicated that the restaurant would be open at 4pm, so we gave them a try. We had a very good meal. The Burrata appetizer was very yummy, although we needed to request extra bread to polish off the generous heap of fresh mozzarella, etc. Our side salads were perfect in every way. The penne ala vodka was also very good (pasta was a touch too al dente) and the 6 added shrimp were done to perfection. It was a very generous serving so more pasta for lunch tomorrow! read more
