Tried to reserve a table and bottle service in the VIP section. I was told they could not reserve bottle service until the day of and that I was not guaranteed the table if a bigger party came in. I never gave the size of the party so I told her the size which was 10. I then said ok so you cannot guarantee me a table, you won't sell me bottle service and I could be bumped if a better party comes in?!! I've never tried so hard to give my money to a place and have them try so hard not to take it! Ridiculous! read more

I chose the Blackened Red Snapper Étouffée as the combination of blackened red snapper, shrimp and crab sounded interesting. The food took a bit longer than I have preferred. I was finished with my first beer by the time the meal arrived. Fortunately, it was worth the wait. The sauce which came with the dish was delicious. It definitely went well with the shrimp, crab and the red snapper. Sadly, there was not enough rice to soak up the sauce. The spinach tasted a bit salty and that salty taste lingered. I was not planning on eating dessert until I saw the Decadent Chocolate Toffee Torte. It was decadent and chocolatey, so it lived up to its name. My review is focused on the food and not the service. I had decided to eat at the bar and I have known the bartender for several years. As expected, I received excellent service from her. I went back to sambuca 360 on Friday, around 11pm and it was still pack, cover was 5bucks!!!! Kitchen has closed also and we needed some bites. Drinks was good, wonderful bar tenders, looks like it's was all females that night, whoop whoop!!! Band was okay, not my fav though! Guys here didn't want to participate, they were all looking and stood like there were at concerts We had fun dancing and I was hurting the next morning, been too long since I had that type of fun. I hung out at this place for 10 years. I enjoyed it very much and kept it open for a year at least with my business. I live in Costa Rica for the last 4 years. I got kicked out of the bar because the bartender got mad because I did not close my tab and wanted to keep it open. One of the few places to go out and dance as an adult. Had an absolute blast. Great people. Great band. Hard to argue with any of that. Only 4 stars because: 1) It was TERRIBLY HOT - like crank up the air. Women were in there with fans so I am thinking that is normal. 2) I saw several people downing vials of GHB and a women selling fentanyl pills out of her boot to the guys around me. Shocking to me for Plano. I realize this is hard to catch or keep up with, but made me question my drink safety. People seemed to be using it for themselves if that matters. read more

Waitress went back 2 HOURS AFTER tab was closed out and we left the establishment and RECHARGED additional food and drinks in error to our credit card! Manager (Tommy) a very dismissive and uninterested in correcting the charges. We ended up reconciling the charges amongst ourselves (party of 6) luckily we are all friends and were able to. The MAJOR CONCERN was charging the card after tab was closed and no one signed the receipt!!! BEWARE!! they press you to "open a tab on a card" then take your cash and leave the card open. read more

So I ended up coming to Sambuca due to a ladies night event that was presented to a group I'm associated with. The night would consist of 1 free drink ticket & free appetizers. Unfortunately, due to working late I came about an hour after the event started. Upon entering, the "hosts" just stood behind the booth & looked at me as if I was in the wrong spot. Anyhow, I walked right past them until I seen the group of ladies I was looking for. The organizer asked me if they gave me a drink ticket, I stated no they didn't speak one word to me so she had to dig & find me a ticket in her purse that others had left. At this point, the "appetizers" were gone but a lady did inform me I didn't miss anything it definitely wasn't worth anything & they didn't even make sure everyone got something to taste. As for the drink, I ordered a well drink which was made just how I like it. I asked the bartender for a menu so I could see if I wanted to order something. As I browsed the menu & chatted, I could see the bartenders out the corner of my eye rubbing their chests against each other & laughing, what the heck?! Is this some tactic to get attention or something? Personally it was VERY inappropriate, if you see how they dressed you would get the point. This place is not Hooters & I don't even see Hooter women doing that. Anyhow, I guess I was taking to long because the bartender came & took the menu back. I ultimately wasn't going to order anything as the menu didn't have anything that peaked my interest they should probably redo their menu honestly. Furthermore, I was there for about 30 mins with no interest to stay later because the music was just ugh. I don't mind country music but it was really killing my vibe in addition to the bartenders behavior. Did I read the previous reviews? New Years event was a huge rip off. Not only did we pay for our table and dinner at $125 per person in advance I was charged an additional $367 on my card plus I was charged on a separate tab for my 2 drinks at $55. Since no one answers the phone I had to go there today to dispute charges. They said they refunded the over charge and took my card for a bottle of champagne that was bought by someone else at my table. Now there's an additional charge of $132 but no refund. In addition they over sold the venue. it was packed all the way up to our table so we couldn't get up. Drinks were spilled on our table, no one offered to provide new table cloths and we never received the dessert we paid for in advance. Besides going there again to dispute the charge I will never step foot in this place again!!! Total rip off!!! read more

I went here on a Friday night. If you look at the rest of my review you can see that not only am I a reasonable person, but I'm very intelligent. Anyway. I approached the bar with a friend, and my white friend was fine, but I got shoved by a nearby person for no reason at all. And then, another white guy behind us got on the shovers side for no reason at all. This somehow how got escalated to bouncers who worked there and they believed the 2 white guys over me, a non-white. Even though I did nothing wrong. Went there for a birthday last month, appetizers and food was pretty good, but the service was not that great. Our server would disappear in the back by the restrooms and wouldn't be been for 20-30 min. The Dj was better then the live band in a way so I would only go back if the Dj was the only one playing. read more

I was here for the first time for a birthday celebration. It is a restaurant for adults because it eventually turns into a nightclub atmosphere. I love that they have live music and a dance floor, it makes the restaurant fun. The menu is not big, but I will say that they have some great options, and the prices are moderate. I had the Medi Plate, which is a Mediterranean dish. The plate included chicken skewers, Greek salad, rice pilaf, and hummus with naan bread. Although the chicken was a bit over cooked, the tzatziki sauce provided helped. The rice and salad were pretty tasty as well. Sambuca is a great place for a night out with your friends or a fun date night. I will definitely be back! read more

The bouncers here are ridiculous and abuse their power. We were celebrating a birthday and we were a large party of 15. As we were in line The lobby was full and they were letting us in slowly. One of our friends was already inside and the bouncer grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back full strength. Our friend reacted and they kicked him out. Half of our group had already paid so most of us stayed. It was 1:40 am and the bouncers ordered everyone to leave when the club closes at 2am. We had ordered another drink just a few minutes prior and they were forcing us out! I kept stating it wasn't 2am and they used their power to order us out no matter how much money we had spent. Absolutely the worst New Years' Eve of my entire life. Paid $276.12 so that they could breach their own "contract" for New Year's supposed 3-course dinner. Their own, "contract" said to be there at 8:45 PM for prompt seating at 9 PM. Instead, we waited in a long line & were seated at 10 PM. We had no silverware/napkins & the waitress finally brought our drinks 45 minutes after being seated. Dinner wasn't served until after 11 PM, and the entree was brought before the salad. We had to find silverware ourselves (by then our entree was completely cold) in the sea of people as our waitress had far too many tables to wait on to help us. We finally found a busboy to bring our salads (since when do busboys wait on patrons & is that even hygienic?) We spent the entire night waiting on ourselves by looking around/serving ourselves for what we needed to even be ABLE to eat and drink. We never even had the opportunity to dance because our night was spent fending for ourselves! After asking what staff we could find, including our waitress we finally received ONE of the two desserts we PAID FOR, and this was AFTER midnight (breaching their own contract). We split the tiny dessert after realizing we were lucky to get anything at that point. The restaurant was beyond overly crowded and it was very difficult to even move around because they obviously oversold seats. To me, it seemed like the fire marshall should have shut down the place because it was unbelievably and unpleasantly overly crowded. The few times our waitress came by she said she'd bring us what we asked for but she never did. She told me she was going to quit working there the next day and that she was disgusted with Sambuca. She also told me that Sambuca had, "oversold 300 tickets" at the last minute and that was why there was TOO little staff to wait on people. I saw very few staff working and have been going there since 2015 and never experienced anything like this. The entire night was absolutely exhausting and stressful. In essence, we paid $276.00 to wait on and fend for ourselves and we did not even get what we paid for. I have called Sambuca several times and they will not return my call. read more

My friend made a reservation for 10 people, they sat us at a location that could barely seat 8 comfortably. We asked for an accommodation and they brought 2 patio chairs over to us. I ordered the meat pizza, I asked for ranch twice and it took more than 8-10 minutes to get to me. I need ranch to eat my pizza. I asked for a second strawberry Basel brink, I waited 15-20 minutes for my server to even take the time to check on me, she never did so I got security to physically get her. She finally came to me, I asked for my drink again and it took another 10 minutes for me to even receive it. They still charged me for both, no accommodations for the failed service. I wouldn't come here again. I also saw some cake from the workers on stage smh. Mooned lololol. Music was good, it was very old school- it wasn't me was a song on. Ohh man, went to this place after few years. Worst music and worst live band. Felt like it's their strategy to put bad music and get people drunk to go into dancing mood :). We went as a couples group and towards the closing, the staff behaved very badly with two of our friends. They were too aggressive and just while talking to them in normal manner, they choked my friend to the wall. He has bruises on his neck and back of head. We tried to talk to them very calmly to calm down but they all formed a group and started abusing us and didn't even listen or try to understand the issue. Couple of us had our hats and jackets on chairs and they didn't even allow us to get them. When we asked them to get it, they asked us to come next day to collect from lost and found. We were all shocked on how the hell this kind of management is running this business. Soooo first off the band "After Party" was dope tonight!!! They had me rocking out of my seat. I didn't order food however the people I was with enjoyed their food. I ordered the "Spicy Blueberry Margarita " it sounded so delicious. It took forever to come, we asked for water twice. The server seemed overwhelmed. Nothing was spicy about it and it didn't have any liquor in it. I didn't catch a buzz or a tingle lol. I only ordered one. My bill came up to $14, I paid with $20 cash. The server didn't come back with my change. When I flagged her down she said "Oh you wanted change?!" Uhhhhh yea. Do you think your service was worth a 40% tip?! Lol where do you go and spend $14 dollars and tip $6?!?! I was going to give her 20% but ended up tipping her $1. We came to Sambuca 360 as a work group looking for a place to eat late on a weeknight. I'm really happy we found Sambuca on Tuesday as they had 1/2 off entrees and live music still playing for us when we rolled in around 9:45 PM. This place seems like it could be a bit clubby during the weekends, but was great on a weekday. The service was still quite friendly and attentive, although this could also be due to the fact that we were one of maybe 5 parties in the restaurant. This restaurant is located in a beautiful shopping area and as I mentioned, it could be a bit clubby as it has a great ambiance, several different areas of seating and a large stage for live bands/performances. We all stuck with beer and wine, so I can't comment on the drinks, but the cocktails looked like they would be good. The food was actually quite good, especially considering the 1/2 off price point. We strated with the poke and crab dip appetizer. Both were quite good with the poke having a light rice based shell to accompany some of the tuna. My main, I had miso glazed bass that was light and cooked perfectly, even at the late hour. The accompanying veggies were bright and provided a good light meal. Bottom line, a solid choice if you are in the area on a weekday for brunch, I might have felt it was slightly overpriced if we didn't get half off entrees, but it also is in a very nice area, so that price point should be expected. read more

So glad I never went here for a special event. Just wondered in after dinner a couple times. It's not so much the place or service but the crowd. They're just gross. If your under 40 don't go there. Especially if you're a women because guys over 50 there are convinced you want to date them. The woman there in they're late 40's are trying to look like they're late 20's and you know the result of that. Just say no and don't waste your cover because you will leave after 1 drink unless you fall into one of these categories: 1) you're a pathetic guy over 45 who flashes money around but still can't get that 25 yo to leave with you 2) you're a woman pushing 50 with a fake tan, Botox and ridiculously big lips 3) you're a black guy who likes to dance with white 40-something women Those 3 groups make up 80-90% of the crowd on weekend nights. read more

Challenged by security. Manger didn't care and made several excuses to correct the issue. These folks have been challenged with racism, favoritism, ride bouncers and certainly untrained and do not have boundaries in place. These folks could've easily been taken to court for their dumb act. Bouncers are angry and do not care about customers. They don't care, they will literally act on their feelings and do not have the capacity to steward the act according to law. So yes they do break and manipulate to fit their bill. Plus you've seen them on TV- 3 years ago how manager tried to kick out a guy and and made accusations. Absolutely ridiculous. I've never eaten at Sambuca 360 and I've always thought of it as a fun place to hang out, so I decided to try out a Sunday brunch on Father's Day. It was chilly and quiet inside, with only a few tables dining. Which confused me as to why it took 30 min to receive our meals since the restaurant so empty. I moved outside for patio seating since the temperature was more enjoyable. People watching helped to pass the time, but waiting forever to eat was still super annoying. The meals finally arrived and in ample portions. It was borderline 'good' overall (or maybe I was just really hungry). Fish & chips, burgers & fries, and chicken & waffles..to name a few, but nothing tasted spectacular. I guess I'll stick to Sambuca 360 for dancing and entertainment. read more

The most awful experience. We arrived at 12:45 AM and the girl at the front counter didn't know how much to charge and turned to ask another girl how much to charge us. She was using hand signals saying, "$10?" and the other girl nodded. We paid and met our party inside and discovered they had arrived 5-10 minutes before us and did not pay cover. Not long after being there, a bouncer came up to my husband and told him that he was "cut off" when he didn't even have anything to drink the whole week! He had a coca cola at dinner and water afterwards. It was hilarious to hear that he was cut off since it didn't really matter to him; he wasn't drinking anyway. If they had been watching (like they said) they would also know that he had nothing to drink there, thus there was no reason to inform him that he was "cut off." It is sad and it surprises me that a "service" industry can treat people this way. read more
