As the other reviewers have noted, the quality has significantly gone down. On my last visit before an out of town trip I hat all of my dress clothes dry cleaned. I'm not concerned with "same day" as I am great quality. Take advantage of the fact that not every customer needs their clothes same day and maybe offer a better price for next day or 2 day so you can ensure quality on every item. Every shirt and slacks that was cleaned was just as wrinkled as when I dropped it. Pants that were tagged for a button repair were returned without a repair. On the last few visits I noticed the quality had drifted since my first review, but I had hoped it was an anomaly. Unfortunately I did not pick up my dry cleaning to inspect it. Due to the poor customer service I will not return to this location - please have at least one person on staff at all times that speaks English - especially if there's an issue. Don't have non-English speakers answer your phones either. I wish them the best and hope they can improve before they end up going out of business. read more

One of the worst experiences I have ever had with a dry cleaner. I don't understand why the customer service is so bad. I walk in on day asking if the can remove a stain from a couple of my shirts. They said they would try their best and if they couldn't get the stain out I would not be charged. I then pick up my clothes and the stain is still there. So I said thank you for trying and about to leave and they told me they were charging me 13.50 for the stain removal. I pointed tot he stain and said it wasn't remove so why am I paying. They looked me in my eyes and told me I was lying about what they said the day prior. The problem isn't even about the money, it's about the straight dishonesty of this place. DO NOT GO OR USE THIS PLACE. There's better dry cleaners within a five minute drive. read more

This place is only 7 minutes from where I work, (and next to Coco Donuts), so location is convenient. Been here a few times to drop off clothes for dry cleaning. Also dropped off a pair of slacks and a coat for alterations. Pros: - Drive through window - In by 10:00am, ready the same day - $12 to get my suit slacks altered. 1-day turnaround, (if in before 2:00pm) - friendly personnel Cons: - didn't move the crease on the pants I had altered, (I had it slimmed down). - $45 to shorten sleeves of my coat and cinch it at the waist. It looks ok if I am not moving, but if I flex my arms, it feels like I'm going to bust out of the coat. Fit is far from perfect. Summary: Quick and reliable for dry cleaning needs, but if your clothes require alterations, (other than jeans that need hemming), go to a real tailor. read more

Don't listen to the grumpy people reviewing this place. This place is great! Always greeted with a hello, good morning and even a have a nice day. Prices are perfect! Turn around time is always consistent and quick! Work is always on point. Even their integrity is something to note.. I was over charged by one shirt because I usually bring in sets of items and I had originally said I had 4. Come to find out I was missing a shirt with one of the sets and I received a phone call minutes after leaving to be told that I would get a refund. That to me is attention to detail and honesty and something that stands out unfortunately in this day in age. I've also left important documents in my pockets and it was placed aside for me and was able to retrieve them at pick up. Obviously their policy is not responsible for lost items but here goes to show you once more that they care and have always done right by me. I go here every week to get my husband's dry cleaned! Their prices are reasonable and if you drop off your stuff before 10am, you get it by 5pm the same day, which is pretty awesome! I love these guys. Even when i lose my tickets, they don't hassle me and i pick up my items, and leave. Low prices, fast service. They do more than i thought a cleaner would do. This place did a really good job with my bridesmaid dress. I came in this morning, the tailor pinned my dress, had it done this evening (on time) and it looks great. For the same alterations David's bridal was trying to charge me $160, and another tailor was trying to charge me $100. This place charged me $50!!!!! AND IT LOOKS GREAT!!! The cleaners have GREAT prices, FAST turnaround for basic laundry services, and when there was a misunderstanding around cash acceptance (total order cost has to be greater than $10 to pay in cash, due to credit card fees - which I totally understand) they were really forgiving! To make a long story short, I wasn't the one who dropped off the laundry so I didn't know about the cash rule and when I showed up for pick up it was raining and I didn't have cash on me and the owners allowed me to take my husbands shirts that he was planning to wear one for dinner in the city that night without paying, and they just trusted that I would pay correctly on my next visit (which could've been a long time because I let them know I am not a Nevada local, but they still gave such great customer service). In the end, I wasn't trying to take advantage of their generosity in a way that would hurt their business and my little sister had some cash in the car with her so I was able to borrow it and pay the tab right then and there, but if we didn't have cash they weren't going to hold my clothing hostage and they were really great humans to just trust that I would do the right thing. Little gestures like this go a long way. I recommend this cleaners very highly and will use them on my next visit to Vegas! read more

We've been going here for years even though we live 7 1/2 miles away now and there are about 50 dry cleaners between our house and this place, but for the quality and price you can't beat it anywhere else. They charge $1.50 for a shirt and I think $2.50 for pants. I bought a steam cleaner and thought I would save money trying to iron/steam my husband's shirts but that was short lived and we immediately started coming back to this dry cleaner. The tailoring is fairly good and reasonable as well. $8 for pant hems and $3 to fix a tear. I've had a few hems come out after 1 or 2 times of wearing the item but they fix it for no charge, however they do give you a hard time when you bring something back. They will fix it but sometimes you have to argue with them for a minute. I thought about taking away a star for this BUT the overall quality and affordability is closer to 5 stars. read more

I was a customer of this establishment for 7 YEARS, so I can speak from experience that this business and the employees who work there are horrible. After 7 years of patronizing this place, you would think they would know my name and or information when I walked in. Not only that, they always had a scowl on their faces, never smiled or said hi, and acted as if they were doing me a favor. They don't care to learn or speak English, and constantly speak Vietnamese to each other about the clients. I once gave $20.50 for a $10.50 bill and the lady that took my money gave me back $9.50! I told her that I gave her .50 so I could get back a $10 dollar bill. She called me a liar! Over 50 cents! A 7 year customer! The owners could care less about their clients clearly. If I could give it lower than one star I would. My new dry cleaners remembered my name after 2 visits!!! It is called customer service. This place has zero idea of what that term is supposed to mean. Never once have I receievd my clothes on the same day I got them. The name is an absolute lie. If no stars waere an option I would give it to them. They never have gotten the stains on my jacket out the first time and I always have to come back 2 days later to give them time to redo it. They pressed my jacket wrong and left a huge crease in them. No one in there really undertands english. Today, I waited 20 min for them to find my jacket because they put the wrong tag on it. I have to agree with the other negative reviews found here. This has been my main dry cleaning location for about a year, but I will be taking my business elsewhere in light of my most recent experience. After picking up my freshly dry cleaned suit in the morning, I wore it to work and was immediately notified by one of my team members that there was a giant hole on the back of my sleeve! I went through the rest of my work day and planned to visit the dry cleaner the next day to ask them how it got there and why I wasn't notified upon pickup. As other customers have mentioned, their customer service level is abysmal. If there is ever an issue, you can be assured that they will gloss over it and simply try to deny any and all wrongdoing. I showed them the sleeve, and they told me I must have scraped it on a wall or something. I insisted that it wasn't there when I dropped it off, but it certainly was when I picked it back up. I had also not been notified of the giant hole and embarrassingly wore it to work. After several rounds of this insistence, she finally wrote down my name and number. Three days went by and I never heard back... I came back to the store one final time. They denied any involvement again, despite me telling them no hole was there when I left it in their care. All they offered was to try and patch it up. He wrote an order for the item and then marked it "pay on pickup" on the ticket. After all the wasted time, lack of follow up on their part, and failure to notify me of the blemish....and they still had the audacity to try and charge me for the patch job?! I asked for my jacket back and left the establishment for the final time. After further research, I discovered that the original issue of the torn elbow is a somewhat common/known issue. After normal wear, commercial cleaners tend to stress the thinned down material a too much, resulting in rips at the elbow on dress clothes. Clearly this happened on someone's watch, and they decided not to notify me when the item was returned, figuring they could just deny it later. They certainly did, and they even tried to place the blame on me saying I must be scraping my arm against a wall. The extreme lack of customer service combined with the lack of care for delicate clothing has turned me away from their service forever. Have been going to this cleaner for over a year and never had issues. Not sure what's changed but the last two months of my dry cleaning have come back with stains that I requested be removed and burnt buttons. I have asked the girls to redo the shirts but their only response is "we tried our best" There is never any offer to redo the shirt or any other articles of clothing I've brought them. This place really is a hidden gem of the Northwest. Even though they advertise as a dry cleaner, they have a tailor on staff that has phenomenal abilities. One of my earliest memories of this place was a couple of years ago when I first moved to the Summerlin/NW area. Most the people in the area were really rude, and service was bad at every restaurant/shop. I recall coming into SAME DAY CLEANER to get a pair of jeans hemmed and being greeted a group of incredibly friendly workers....at the moment I didn't know how to react because it had been such a long times since I had experienced friendly people in the NW area. To make the experience better, the lady charged me like $10.00 to hem my jeans. Earlier in the day, a tailor at the mall quoted me at $35 to hem my jeans and told me it would take 10 days. SAME DAY CLEANER hemmed it for $10.00, and it only took 1 day. Also, they were able to keep the original hem and the original boot cut design. It was incredible craftsmanship! Since then I have brought 3 more pairs of +$300 jeans, and they have hemmed them for as low as $7.00. Nothing gets ruined here, this place has an extremely skilled tailor. Most recently I took my jeans in to get fashionable patches sewed on. Habib on Decatur, who most people on yelp regard as the "best tailor in vegas" charged me $15 and did a horrible job a few months ago. I didn't leave him a negative review because he was such a nice guy, but I was really dissatisfied. The tailor at SAME DAY CLEANER charged me $3.00 to fix what Habib did and redo the fashionable patches. Once again, it looks amazing! Even Ife A. took her shirt here when it ripped and they fixed within a day and charged her $2.00. How does this place charge their customers nothing yet stay in business? I have also used their dry cleaner services multiple times and they do an amazing job. I have a $2000 Burberry coat that I take here often, and it looks incredible after they are done cleaning it. Somehow their dry cleaning chemicals unintentionally restored it's dark color, which had been fading...I don't know how this happened but I am happy. Let's not forget that this is one of my favorite shopping centers. It has my favorite Korean Sushi restaurant(Tokyo Sushi House), my favorite 24 hour Mexican joint(Roberto's), and of course my favorite tailor/dry cleaner. At times I have gone to all 3 businesses on the same trip. read more

I read the reviews before coming here and was glad I did. My puppy soiled my comforter and I needed it cleaned. As my king size comforter is unfolding onto the ground an employee came out to assist me with bringing it into the store! Chivalry isn't dead! I was embarrassed but thankful for his help. The process of drop off/pick up was easy and they even give you the option of paying in advance. When I picked up my comforter that same gentleman was nice enough to bring it out to my car as well! This cleaners is terrible. They don't have any clerks that understand English and the service is low quality. They are unable to match the inseams when they press a pair of slacks. I took pairs in yesterday, when I went to pick them up, the inseams were 1-2" off center. I tried to explain to 3 clerks when one finally said "you want repress", I said yes. I went back to get them today and they either repressed as they were or just hung them back on the rack, doing nothing. I'm done with them, despite their convenience and location. read more

Yea . You can't beat the price except if when you get your Pricy sweater , it's shrunk and the material of the fabric is ruined. I was beside myself when I picked up a sweater that i've had for 4 years and" Dry-clean ONLY" no exceptions a dozen times in two other states. But when I took it here to Same day Cleaner, I noticed after I got home and went to put it on, that not only had they shrunk it about a size and a half,. But they completely ruined and it can only be described as a " washed feel" on something that shouldn't have been washed. That's the scratchy feel and stiff feel to super soft stretchy sweater, it's totally lost the elasticity and the fabric is not even the same to be fixable. So, who knows, they have no record keep ing, no computer systems, and no one speakingEnglish. You get what u pay for. read more

I needed to get 2 pairs of work pants and my lululemon yoga pants hemmed....where to go? After a quick yelp search, I found this place, a few minutes away from home. Staff may not be the most talkative, but they were friendly enough. I paid $8/pair for hemming and picked up my pants the next day. My pants were clean, pressed, and satisfactorily shortened! I went to pick up my dry cleaning. The lady at the counter was incredibly rude. I've been very sick and accidentally grabbed the wrong ticket. When I realized it because she pulled the wrong closed she rudely snapped at me. I apologized and proceeded to hand her the correct ticket. She took it from me without a word. My husband commented on how ride she was being. She did not say one word. Grabbed my payment and shoved the receipt for me to sign. Not one word as I was leaving. I absolutely will not be back. I always take my shirts and dress pants here ti get cleaned and have always gotten them back clean and pressed like I like them. I used them in the past to also alter pants and they are pretty reasonable with that they don't take forever to do it and will get them done within 2 days or less even if you ask them to. I had a pair of jeans that I needed altered before leaving out of town and they were able to have them done and ready for me the next morning so I could pick them up on my way out of town. They take the "clean" out of dry clean. Dropped off uniform for cleaning. White tag inside back collar had neck dirt on it. It STILL had the same amount of neck dirt on it when I picked it up! When I pointed this out, (you would expect an apology and promise they they will re-do it and actually give you the cleaning you paid for.... Nope! Two different ladies told me that that is probably dirt that will never come out. Give me a break! I feel like I was robbed. When the time to wear the garments came, I found that they all had shrunk! Not much you can do with them after that. I'm assuming they washed them instead of dry cleaning them. After relocating to the other side of the valley, I was desperately in need of a new dry cleaner. Searched and yelp provided! Thank you!! SDC is affordable (unlike a popular chain in the valley) and if you get you items in before 10:00AM, they offer same day service! Having that option free of charge is amazing!! I picked up my clothes and inspected them, and found nothing wrong with them at all. They even put a little clip on your pants which properly secures them to the hanger. Service was friendly even when I failed to bring in my dry cleaning slip. This is indeed a great find. read more

We just moved to this area, so I was happy to see a convenient dry cleaners on the way to my office. I had been going to Tide on Eastern for a long while, and was super upset there isn't one near me now (because they are definitely the best in the city!). I took two blouses to get dry cleaned, I wish I would have tested them out on a shitty blouse beforehand, because they absolutely SHRUNK the shit out of my FAVORITE JCrew chiffon top. Not to mention, they were pretty rude to me, and they definitely didn't bother to come out to the drive-thru to help me, and they only took cash. Super pissed. I can't find that top anymore. I hate this place. DON'T GO THERE. Save yourself the irritation. Maybe I'll just drive all the way across town to get to Tide, at least I know they won't ruin my expensive clothing. read more
