I had been previously advised that air conditioning could not be installed in this house with the existing air ducts and no crawl space. That staff was friendly and responsive and was able to answer all of my questions and concerns over phone, text and email. Their bid came in lower than any of the others I considered without sacrificing anything in the way of quality and customer service. When the installers discovered an issue with the agreed upon placement of the condenser that required upgrading to a slimline model, they gave me the higher end model at cost. First, they were able to accommodate my schedule and desire to align inspections at the same time as the home inspector. This saved me a lot of time. Second, we were met by Ehly who was punctual, professional, and super friendly. He assessed two full units for a 2-story home. He was quick to inform me throughout the process on things that were good and areas of concerns. We came to an agreement and 3 days later my air conditioner was installed. Great customer service, very knowledgeable people and Tony is an amazing person. This was a nightmare. Our heater was working and needed some improvements so we wanted to get it fixed. A guy came quickly but ended up charging us 100$ to condemn our heater which left us with no heater during the coldest week of San Diego winter. We were not offered any repairs, yet still charged. We were willing to accept whatever risks the heater may or may not provide during operation which our heater had been like this for many months so it was not likely any acute safety issue would arise. He did not provide us a quote for a new heater so we had to find a different more reliable company which all in all this experience left us without heat for almost a week. If he had kindly left our heater on we would have one not frozen and two had more time to research a nice heater replacement. We will not use or recommend this company. read more

We had our ductwork replaced by Same Day. We had a 2-year old HVAC system that was underpowered for the square footage of our house, and had only one return for a 2400sf house. Sean, the estimator, spent quite some time under the house analyzing the system, and took photos. I priced the job with 4 other companies and Same Day came in within our budget. The installation team of Shelby Bruce and Roberto did a great job with a challenging situation...in some places our crawl space was only 10 inches high. They also had to cut two new returns and ductwork to the upstairs and cut new registers in the ceiling. All of this was done neatly and efficiently. We sold our home and before closing the furnace went out. We were promised that if we went with Same Day Heating that we would have the required HERS Certificate, and Permits pulled so that it could be added at closing. I contacted Same Day Heating and they told me that due to Covid they were having trouble securing the documents. I told them that we paid over $650 more than another quote to them because we were made this promise. The owner called when I told them I would leave poor reviews and he said that he would "GO ABOVE AND BEYOND" and send someone from his office to secure the documents and e-mail them to me... I sent a message to Same Day and had a response in literally 10 minutes saying they could have someone out to look at my furnace at no charge by the end of the day. Throughout the day they were in constant communication regarding when they would be at my house. Mike showed up and did some basic tshoot and determined it was the gas valve, he didn't have the right valve with him but promised to be back first thing in the AM with the correct part. I was lucky enough to get my AC installed before this predicted heat wave this weekend (4Sept20) and it was a great experience. I received notification that the technicians were headed to the house via text and email. They showed up on time both days and were fully COVID compliant. Adrian and Carlos were my technicians on both days and maintained professionalism throughout the installation. They explained things as they were going through and even asked permission before entering the bedrooms. The actual work was done efficiently and looks great installed. They even deconflicted with some work I had done on the outside of the house. AND they cleaned up after themselves well and without prompting. Great install from the team at Same Day!!
