    Pork tacos and fries

Nice restaurant for its location inside the airport and for how low key the vibe is. It is a solid place to spend some time waiting for a flight, especially if you want to have a few drinks and/or have kids who need to move around a bit before boarding. That said, this is not the spot if you are looking for great food. The menu is fine, but the food is pretty meh overall. It works well as a place to pass the time, not as a destination for a memorable meal.

Had some time to kill before getting on a long flight home so we decided to go and have an appetizer and a beverage. Service was amazing and friendly!! We chose to sit outside and there wasn't a burst of rain and our server asked if we wanted to move however we were fine since it was a quick storm passing. Had the pulled pork nachos and there wasn't plenty of food for 3 people. I know drinks are extra pricey at airports but if airports were to lower them just a tad I believe they would sell more.

Sammy's (Sammy Hagar) inside the OGG airport. One of a few places to grab food. You place the order via a QR code and pay the same way- the service was good- the food however, was super slow to come out- it wasn't busy. The time is took for the food to come out really needs to be improved. The food- was good. It was hot, it tasted fresh. We were happy with our choices. Think Hard Rock, House of Blues style decor- Sammy Hagar memorabilia, a large tv screen displaying photos.

Found this place before our departure. Self seating. Sat at our table and reviewed the menu. 5 minutes passed. A waiter came by to ask us what we wanted to drink. Ordered water, and one adult beverage. Came back in minutes with our drinks. Ordered a x 2 loco mocos. Another 5 minutes passed and our loco mocos were served. Took a bite and it was delicous! Overeasy with Rice and gravy. Not dissapointed one bit. Actually one of the best loco mocos I have tasted in Maui. Who would of thought it would be at the airport! Lol If you want good loco moco with great customer service, this place is the right place for you. Yes its over $20 but if you are at the airport and you go to Burger King or McDonald's, it would be the same price. At least at Sammys, you get good quality food. Great place! I would come back if I have a stop over departure.

    Server "Love"

The servers are not the friendliest to say the least. We sat down at one of the booths and were immediately scolded by a server by the name of "Love." She yelled really loud and embarrassed us in front of everyone by shouting "Get Up! You don't lie down in restaurants!" I mean, she could have at least approached our table and ask nicely. But that's definitely not what she did . She yelled. I get that the waitresses here help people who are sleep deprived and cranky after a long flight. So maybe someone else was mean to her (we have no idea). But she really didn't have to be that mean to us at all . We didn't even say anything to her or anything back at all. We just sat there stunned in silence. "Love," I'm sorry that my child was tired. I'm sorry that he lied down on the chair in the booth for a brief moment. I don't even know what we did to you for you to be so upset. We are sooo sad now We are so sorry for whatever we did to make you THAT upset . We didn't even talk and only got yelled at by this lady

Stopped by Maui for the day for work and was lucky enough to catch lunch here before I left. I was feeling something "heavy" and "American". I went for their Sammy's Beach Burger and it was so delicious! The patty was flavorful and well-portioned. The sauce and multiple cheeses really added to the flavor profile. As always, the staff and management always show "aloha". This time around I took my food to-go, but there was plenty of seating and I appreciate the large windows providing natural lighting. You can find Sammy's Beach Bar & Grill near the main rotunda across Starbucks and their Food Court. I definitely appreciate eating american-styled food from Sammy's. It definitely hits the spot. I also frequently get their fish tacos. So 'ono!

Great place for a Bloody Mary Or a Mai Tai. Lots of TVs. Food... It's an airport... Not great. Not bad. Good views of Haleakala Best part is the big gorilla out front.

The food was pretty good, not the best I ever had but fair. The service was great. The ladies here are very nice. They even helped us manage to find food for my husband who has a lot of allergies. The area in space in here is pretty good.We founded a table quickly and they have a full bar. There was plenty of room at our table for us and all of our stuff. It was a great stop for our pre.Flight meal.

I ordered the ono fish tacos. The fish was fresh and had good flavor, but the tacos were room temperature and served on a store bought type flour tortilla. Instead of cabbage, it eas served on greens. It was like a tiny grilled fish salad on a tortilla. The Mai tai had a weird flavor, and despite being a double, it was not very strong at all. The waitress was also a bit rude, but she did provide good service otherwise.

Walking in the place smelled great like a pizza but the aroma probably came from the little pizza shop nearby. It was lively inside and busy without being totally packed. Service was alright, not bad but not good either. Not feeling ultra hungry my husband and I split a Cuban sandwich meal. I think it could use some improvement. The kalua pork was a nice Hawaiian touch on the classic. But stone ground mustard and sweet pickles felt so wrong. We asked for yellow mustard, removed the sweet pickles and instantly the sandwich became more enjoyable. I can't say it was the best food but it wasn't bad.

    Bloody Mary and espresso martini

Stopped for a snack before boarding. Ordered the Kicked-Up Fries. They were delicious and do not disappoint! I would recommend them. We ordered an espresso martini and a bloody Mary. The bloody Mary had a good kick to it and the espresso martini was very smooth. I'm not a big drinker and enjoy both of these. It's a seat yourself restaurant and we did not wait too long for service. The decorations were very lively with accent guitars everywhere.

Eat breakfast somewhere on the way to the airport, so you don't pay a fortune for terrible food. Greasy eggs, cold bread passing as toast, limp bacon, and flavorless potatoes, all for almost $20. Stop at Marco's in Kahului or treat yourself to 62 MarcKet in Wailuku. Service was polite, but doesn't make up for truly awful food. Complete waste of money.

Well... I guess I was warned? lol 2 stars because the room is nice and the staff was lovely. The girl offered to switch out my meal for something else when she saw how grossed out I looked. I declined, as I don't really like doing that and it was perfectly edible. I doubted anything else on the menu would be better, and it was still better than Burger King or California pizza king next door (maybe? lol). I did end up seeing another restaurant called Sting Rays that I didn't know was there down by Gate 28, and wished I'd gone there instead as their menu looked better with rice bowls and such. Sammy's has good vibes, nice staff and a full bar though, if you're just looking to grab a drink. I ordered the Kaluah Pork Tacos and for some reason all this water started pouring out of each one when I picked it up? And soaked the plate, chips etc? I wasn't squeezing it and really unsure where all the water came from? Maybe the pico? I'm not even exaggerating I tipped the taco and water poured out for a literal 15 seconds. I still ate it because I was hungry, and it's the airport without many options, but it's definitely the worst food I've had in Maui lol StingRays looked better and I'll try them next time instead.

The space is beautifully decorated inside an old bank, complete with a vintage vault. Since we arrived late, pastry options were limited. The ham and cheese tart (flaky), brownie (dense/decadent), and coconut slice (chewy) were great. The coconut roll, however, lacked flavor (skip it). Croissant breakfast sandwich & mortadella sandwich were good. The main disappointment was the salmon toast. It looked beautiful and was a large portion, but the two extra poached eggs I ordered were completely hard-poached. When I brought this up, the woman behind the counter flippantly told me, "Yes, this is how we make them." Poached eggs should ALWAYS have a runny yolk & I didn't believe her answer for a second. Clearly they made a mistake they did not want to own up to. I was highly disappointed by her attitude, especially since I paid extra for the eggs.

I'm not a big coffee connoisseur because of a health condition I have and caffeine can affect me but I do love coffee (even if it doesn't love me) but I'll usually go with a Tea option or Smoothie. I decided on a simple smoothie so I got the Keiki Smoothie with Banana, Strawberry and Apple Juice. I asked the waitress what sandwich is the most popular and she said the Turkey Pesto Melt and boy did that hit! It really was the BEST sandwich. It was on a crispy, flaky...and might I add...buttery croissant with thick slices of turkey, tomato, creamy pesto aioli and melted provolone! It came with some chips and dill pickle on the side.
