Best hotel food I've ever had. Homemade dough chicken pot pie, it's been chilly(I'm from Hawaii, island hop for work) so this was good comfort food. Brussel sprouts - do it The salad is a very large portion and crisp! Also had a egg your way breakfast - hearty start to the morning, yummy crispy potatoes. Bacon and Brussel flat bread, good combo of flavor and not to heavy. They have good healthy options for everyone thats convenient! Everyone from order taking to delivering the food were very friendly!

Finally got a chance to check out this place with some friends for some pau hana drinks. This is the main dining area of Maui's first Courtyard Marriott hotel. ATMOSPHERE: Reminds me of a Starbucks with a splash of green furniture for some color. Dark shades of wood and decor, very contemporary and very "un-Maui" which is nice to see. FOOD: BBQ chicken flatbread - This was really good! Topped with bacon, scallions & jack cheese. Big enough for 3 of us to share. Spinach & artichoke dip - The dip was very tasty but came in a very small dish with tons of chips and a small cup of salsa and oddly a cup of sour cream. SERVICE: You order at the counter and your food comes to your table. Bartender/server was friendly and professional. OVERALL: A great place to have some after work drinks and apps, but the beer is pricey. Domestics start @ $5.75 with imports and crafts @ $6.75.

The Bistro is your only dining option in the Courtyard by Marriott Maui Kahului Airport. The property itself is great, but the Bistro isn't so great. This isn't surprising to me, as Marriott has received a lot of backlash for the concept from its Marriott Rewards member community. Anyhow, the wife and I dined her once after a 19 hour day of activities at Haleakala, Kula, etc. We were tired and didn't feel like going off property, so we check out the Bistro. The employee working the counter that night was really friendly and helpful, so service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food wasn't so great. For our appetizer, the wife and I ordered the Shrimp Potstickers, while I ordered the Bistro Burger for my main meal and the wife ordered the Chicken Chibata Melt. The Shrimp Potstickers were a total fail. Didn't taste like shrimp at all. I couldn't even feel shrimp in it. The Bistro Burger was flavorless and cooked well-done, though it wasn't tough or dry thankfully. The bacon was good though, while the fries were decent. I didn't try the wife's sandwich, but she seemed like it was just ok. As far as value goes, it's just as overpriced as you'd expect from a hotel. Our total was around $50. Hours are breakfast and dinner only, but not late night. So it's a good option if you really don't feel like going out to eat, but you might do better to just order pizza. Better yet, go out and find a great, local place to eat.

Stay at this property and enjoyed the Bistro. Food was prepared and served well. Menu has plenty of options for breakfast @ dinner. I wish it was open all day...they would make money.

Two Egg Cheese Omelette (I substituted the bacon for sun dried tomatoes).

But we were there to eat and not necessarily have Pau Hana time, I will say though some of those draft on tap sound excellent! Ended up ordering: -Ale Battered Onion Rings ($15.75) -Turkey Club ($22.50) -Beef & Pork Burger ($22.99) -Wedge Salad ($16.75) Those Ale Battered Onion Rings hit the app spot! Beer-battered in house and come with chipotle mayo dipping sauce, fried & light, not overly greasy, good with them using sweet Maui onions! Brother wasn't too hungry, so he ended up getting a Wedge Salad (LOL) but with extra bacon. Looked good too! Mom & wifey shared the Turkey Club - that was a BIG @$$ sandwich! Roast turkey breast with Applewood smoked bacon, mayo, lettuce and tomato between 3 slices of thick rye bread! Buggah was stacked! They both liked it, lean turkey with the fatty bacon, and the texture contrast of the fresh veggies made it tasty! My Beef & Pork Burger was a test to my cholesterol levels LOL! Near 1/2 pound burger made with ground chuck, cooked medium rare and topped with a pile of house roasted Kalua pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, crispy fried onions and BBQ sauce...was indeed a tower of a burger! Was pretty damn ono too! Burger got good char from the grill, and the kalua pork was flavorful and not dry at all. This burger didn't need a slice of cheese at all! Delicious! We've been coming here for years and I've always enjoyed my experiences here, but last night I had a dish that compelled me to write a review. The oxtail soup which is listed as a favorite is a dish I've been eyeing for a while, but it's usually been too warm for me to crave it. But last night was the night. I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today. I walked out of Tante's with a swollen and happy belly and a fresh, tiny piece of ginger stuck between my teeth...a treat for later.

After getting back to our room I realized it was an ice cream cake so even as full as I was I tried to eat some cake before it all melted. The had the place decorated all up for Christmas. The lady that waited on us was super nice and kept our drinks filled. I love that attention.

Imagine finding excellent German/Swiss cuisine on Maui?…read moreBrigit & Bernard's Garden Cafe is just that place. Tucked in a quiet industrial area of Kahului, it is an oasis of delectable treats. The outside lanai is so comfortable and covered from the elements. We have gone there for years, and have always been warmly greeted by the owners. Tonight was no exception when we joined some good friends. The sausage appetizer is superb with your choice of pork or veal bratwursts served with red cabbage and tasty mustard. The Schweinsfilet (Hunter's cutlet) with its flavorful mushroom sauce was delicious. I always get the Wienerschnitzel which is huge, pan fried to perfect crispness yet tender and juicy inside. I ordered extra mushroom sauce to enhance the flavor. For sides, we love the red cabbage, sauerkraut, au gratin potato and spaetzle. Their beer and wine selection goes so well with their dishes. I've had their tasty strudel for dessert in the past. We look forward to dining again for dinner or lunch. Ausgezeichnet!

Everything on the menu is served all day except the breakfast so of course we had to come back. Staff is amazing and so friendly. They were great at explaining the menu and our options. I do have to mention that the breakfast staff was more on it with the water. The food was pretty standard for breakfast. After my cousins egg white omlette came, I wanted that. It looked so good. The mushroom omlette that I ordered was okay. It could have been better. The eggs were not fluffy but hard and overall a little tasteless. Maybe adding some garlic or garlic salt as I dont really care for ketchup on my mushrooms. The bacon & cheese saved the omlette and it was funny that I ordered light cheese and got a whole lot of it! It was good after adding salt and pepper. I dont recommend ordering the Lebowski unless you have a light appetite. It only gives 2 peices of meat. A little sad there was no fried rice. Overall, staff was great, food was good and the restaurant is very bright and open. Maybe I'll order my usual next time (Eggs Benedict). I'm rarely disappointed with that.
