Very nice space - bright, open and lots of light. There is also outdoor seating also. Staff was very friendly but our waitress didn't really expand on the menu. Just took the order and didn't make any suggestions. It was okay though however now we know for next time. Pricing is a little higher than other local eateries but for the ambiance and seasonal dishes, it makes sense. Now for the food. The Loco Moco was amazing. My husband requested regular rice and the hamburger that covered the rice...covered the whole rice. Not just the top but all the way tonight the edge of the rice. Every mouthful mmmmmm. The "brown gravy" was a mushroom demi-glace and the flavor was deep and so so flavorful. The bubble waffle was also delicious although next time I'll probably get the one with fruit Overall excellent restaurant. It was a random suggestion from my BIL after we turned onto Market Street in Wailuku.

Oahu local island hopping to Maui and found this cute breakfast spot! Food and service was great and would definitely come back. Came on a Thursday morning with 3 people around 10a and got sat right away. I ordered the loco moco- hamburger was season and cooked well with the spam fried rice upgrade. My friend ordered the pineapple Mac nut pancakes which were also really yummy. Boyfriend had the crab cake Benedict's- crab cakes were so good and we enjoyed the corn bread it was on. Parking is all street parking but there seemed to be a lot in the area.

Somehow, not all my pics made it on my first review! So here it is... The food was simply divine! Fresh ingredients! Great service! Great location! The vibe is chill and relaxing! Can't wait to be back in Mauí again!

This is a very consistent restaurant with good food and friendly service. There's local artwork on the walls and the place is always inviting . My partner had the quiche with a fruit salad and it was really tasty I had mango and blueberries and strawberries on the side. I had the rainbow poke bowl, which was a combination ahi beets, quinoa, sunflower, sprouts, which is a signature of theirs. The servers were helped by the owner who acted as the food runner today. I got an opportunity to say hello to him. His name is Mark and I told him we have been coming there for years and really enjoyed it.

One of my favorite Brunch spot on island hands down! Anything on the menu doesn't disappoint! Chef Marc and his team give exceptional service while spotlighting their restaurant with delicious local ingredients. With his restaurant being situated on 62 Market Street, he also rotates his menu every 62 days according to the season so you get the best of what Maui has to offer. I always start off with their Freshly brewed Iced Tea which was Mango Lemongrass. My friend got the Soup of the Day which was a delicious combination of carrot, ginger, turmeric and coconut milk topped with a little crostini and micro greens. Our table had a variety of food. I LOVE their Quiche of the Day which was a Turkey Pot Pie that had fresh carrot, onion, mushroom and turkey in this soft custard egg and flaky crust with fresh fruit and House Potatoes. My friend always enjoys their Maui Cattle Loco Moco on top white rice and a Wild Mushroom Demi Glaze, a go to Hawaiian staple. The table also got the Signature Crab Cake Eggs Benedict that had a cornbread, bacon, poached eggs and a Lemon Truffle Hollandaise sauce. We all shared the Sweet Crepes which was Tiramisu. A perfect balance of sweetness! I always leave the restaurant feeling a "good, healthy" kind of full knowing all the food I ate was tasty and yet nourishing. Make sure to visit this Wailuku gem when you visit Maui!

Small local gem that's open until 2PM! What makes it extra cool is that their menu changes every 62 days, so there's always something new to try. I ordered the Loco Moco with spam fried rice & hello... DELISH!! The spam was crispy, the meat was tender, & the sauce? Chef's kiss.Definitely a must-try! We also got: Chicken sandwich - a little dry, but nothing a little sauce couldn't fix Braised short rib Benedict - loved this one, especially with the cornbread base instead of a biscuit. Genius. Cheddar biscuit breakfast sandwich - super filling, but didn't stand out much Taro burger - such a fun vegetarian option! Unique flavor, high protein, no meat needed Papaya yogurt granola bowl - refreshing and light, a perfect shareable starter The spot has great vibes and is perfect for starting your day. Can't wait to come back and try their next seasonal menu!

I love the concept of this place! The menu changes every 62 days to keep with seasonal offerings of local farms. So very cool and it keeps you wanting to come back to either have something amazing you had again before it leaves the menu or to try something new each time the menu changes. I highly recommend making an online reservation as it gets really busy. Our server the other day was fantastic. Although super busy, she made stops for refills and check ins at regular intervals. Food was beautifully plated and delicious. The only thing we wanted was some cream or something in the middle of the sweet crepe. Otherwise, we're huge fans and love supporting this Wailuku gem.

This place is so cute. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They did seem busy for a weekday. We had to wait a bit for our food. Food was great! The stuffed French toast was delicious. A perfect amount of coconut taste. I would have liked a little more of the caramelized pineapple on top as I only got 3 little pieces. Sandwich was filling. Coleslaw had a strong vinegary taste. French fries had the perfect amount of crunch.

Came to this cute local brunch spot after a friend's recommendation. I never really eat brunch as I'm more of a lunch person but there were alot of unique menu items so I wanted to give this place a try. There was a short wait when we arrived at 10am but we didn't wait too long. The chef hand also delivered our plates to us which I thought was unique! My favorite was the Maui cattle loco moco, the sauce was so savory and flavorful. The waffle and crab Benedict were also delicious as well. Must visit spot for a casual brunch with family or friends!

Make a reservation. Although we didn't wait long to be seated as a walk-in. Popular and convenient location in Wailuku Town. Cute shops nearby. Fried chicken sandwich is crispy. The chicken is a great portion and sticks out of the bun! I would order this again.

So we ate here a few days ago and it was nice. It was pretty windy out that day but where the restaurant is located it is a little sheltered as they have an outdoor patio or the inside of the restaurant. When we arrived they had half of the restaurant full. Out waitress came by our table pretty quickly and got us some coffee while we looked at the menu. We have been here several times before so we know most of what is offered on the menu but we just wanted to see if there were any new offerings. We ended up ordering the loco moco with eggs over easy and crabcake eggs Benedict. Both were good. I feel like not as good as previous visits but pretty good the crab tasted a little old not bad but just a little old. The service was amazing our waitress did an amazing job as far as the decor it is nice but hasn't changed much from our prior visits. Well kept clean and still looks good. Overall I definitely will be back to try more of the delicious food. I personally like the waffles but wanted to try something different next time I will go with my first choice as those are always amazing. So stop by and check these guys out.

    Ube mochi
    Tiff M.

This might be the best ube mochi pancake I've ever had! The outside layer is crispy and the inside is delightfully fluffy and chewy. The coconut syrup wasn't too sweet. Arrived at 11:30 on a Sunday and had to wait a while before seated. The food came out around 12:30. Also tried the loco moco, solid!

The best Loco Moco on the island.

We changed into clean socks, sanitized our hands and walked into a pink room full of cute kitties who were happy to snuggle up with us, or play with toy feathers and balls, and be stroked under the chin while they relaxed. So entertaining, especially when we started the art class and the kitties decided to start stealing erasers, chew pencils while you were drawing, and walk across your paintings :) It certainly made water colouring exciting! The class is for all ages, and the teacher helps you draw a cute cat step by step, then you paint it whatever colour you want. There were six of us this time, 10 my previous visit. Plus they do kitty movie nights, cat yoga, cat macrame, as well as art cat classes. Or you can just visit and hang out and relax with the kitties. Something for everyone. The cats were very friendly and playful, and they have an amazing room to roam around in, full of toys, beds, and cat climbing areas. They are totally spoiled and are all up for adoption. There were 2 cats who had already been adopted waiting for their flight out, and so far this year 950 cats have been adopted!! An amazing feat, all due to the dedication of the staff at the Cat Cafe and their flight volunteers. (You can volunteer too, go to their website and sign up to take a cat onboard with you to a mainland destination). It is really worth a visit, with easy mall parking, an elevator if you need accessible entry, online booking, and if you forget clean socks they sell them there too. Go, enjoy, raise fund for the kitties with your entry fee and volunteer to carry a cat, or even adopt one :)

Instant good vibes, the whole line outside was just smiling and waiting patiently. Finally get seated and both the hostess and waitress were super nice--real friendly, no rush, no attitude. In the front they had mushroom soup on the specials board, so we figured we go sample um. I had them bring a cup of soup out to start along with my wife's coffee. Gotta be honest--when I dipped my spoon in, I was already judging. Looked kinda thin, not creamy like other mushroom soups I've had. I was thinking, "Ahh here we go." Took one spoonful and immediately had to humble myself. That soup was money. Like, stop-talking-and-just-eat. My wife tried it and confirmed that this soup was "winnahs" . Deep mushroom flavor with the right amount of seasoning. It also came with a little piece of focaccia toast which I would have really enjoyed but had to take my wife's word for it since she ate um all . Should've ordered the bowl. Rookie mistake. For my main, I went with the original eggs Benedict. Portions were a little on the small side, but with the roasted potatoes, I was good. Didn't leave hungry, didn't need to loosen the belt--perfect middle ground. My wife got the strawberry waffles and yeah... those were legit. She's not a syrup person, so she asked for more whipped cream. The waitress comes back with a little mountain of whipped cream in the little silver ramekin. All in all, solid spot. Friendly people, ono food, and little touches that make you feel taken care of. We will be heading to Cafe Kaila again to try some other stuff like the "chicken and waffles", and next time, I'm not playing around with the soup. Bowl, Garans.

I'm getting over a cold and it's been raining off and on for weeks. The bowl arrived at the table with a plate underneath - smart move because it takes some work to eat oxtail soup. Armed with my fork and spoon, I went at it. The first taste floored me. It was perfectly seasoned and I could taste the fresh ginger, the broth was a beautiful brown color, there was plenty of napa cabbage and it came with a dish of a scoop of glossy steamed rice and steamed carrots, zucchini and broccoli. Our waitress offered to bring over condiments so I went for the soy sauce - sprinkled on the rice and veggies, I noticed that the veggies might have had a little sesame oil flavor on them so that made me happy. A spoonful of rice dunked into the broth with some of the tender fall of the bone oxtail meat, and a little crunch of the napa cabbage and I was in absolute heaven. I tasted my husband's pork adobo and that was equally as delicious as always. But that soup - that's what really did it for me last night and stays with me today.
