Sam's has about four locations and has been around a long time. I've never been to this 'newer' location (3-4 years). Shocked to see the meager 2.5 stars. What gives? There are plenty of great reviews, so I don't get it. Count me in for fans of Sam's Bagels. Fancy? Nope. Trendy? Uh uh. Tasty bagels that are doughy enough but not overpower, yes. OK, I miss the slight bite on the crust that some bagels have. Still, Sam's is a solid contender for good bagels, and sandwiches. Tried a Lox Sandwich, which had plenty of flavorful, slightly moist (in a good way) lox. The tomato and onion all fine -- and they offer capers, which is a classic if not for everyone. A few seats inside, but more outside. And, it's very nice on the patio. Not too close to traffic, and it's easy to relax. We got the Lox Sandwich! This is pretty filling and tasty for only 10$. We went on a Saturday, so this was one of the few places open and we were very happy! This place is a go to when I'm in the mood for a bacon,egg and cheese bagel! I always find myself ordering the jalapeños cheddar and it all goes together perfectly! They got plenty of drinks even though I wish they had a chocolate milk option. The bacon is stacked and I'm never let down by the bagels I get from Sam's! If you didn't know they have a lowkey patio in the back to smash whatever you order too! I would give the bagel bfast sandy a 9/10 and Sam's itself a 10/10 spot. I've been coming here for years. New York style bagels that are just like the real deal in NYC! I lived in NYC and have high bagel standards. Sam's Bagels are just as good as the ones I've had in NYC! They are huge, fluffy, and fresh! The everything style bagel is loaded with everything seasoning, just how it should be. Another bagel that stood out to me was the jalapeño cheese bagel because it was cheesy and had a little kick. I also tried their lox and the lox cream cheese. Came in on 6/25/24 around 10am and placed an order with a man at counter, we placed a big order and asked him to repeat the order and he did not want to and advised he got it all with an attitude . I love this place. Moved into the area about six months ago and was recommended Sam's for a great bagel. Well I've gotten bagels but what I really like is the lox and bagel, cream cheese with tomato, capers and onions. Very reasonably priced and the quality is excellent. And the best part is it's walking distance from my new home. Highly recommend it. Might be best to get there a little earlier but all the bagels are great. read more

I had tried the door which was locked, Mr. "I Hate My Job" is behind the counter and shaking his head "No" at me, as if I am somehow clairvoyant they may have sold out of bagels. Most bagel places have some product at the end of the day. If that happened to be the case, put an effing sign in the window letting customers know why the shop is closed before the usual closing time of 2:30pm. / If I am going to pay more, I expect consistency in size/quantity/quality. You, my fellow customers, should expect the same, in my estimation. This third time was NOT a charm.
