    Tuna Melt Sandwich
    Zan L.

I have been to a few different Bagel Factory locations around town and would say this is probably the cleanest and most efficient. Parking is really easy, there is a free lot right out front and service is usually very fast. They always have a large selection and I never have to wait very long for my order. This past visit I got the Tuna Melt on everything bagel and thought it was really great. We also got a few different other types and those two really hit the spot. The bagels here are always consistently fresh and I would recommend if you are in the area.

The food was served fast with a friendly smile. The egg omelet sandwich was toasted buttered and served nice and warm with melty cheese. Simple unassuming very nice.. The egg salad was on a toasted bagel was just delicious. Again simple and unassuming. Very good.

It is family owned and operated. Great New York style bagels with no preservatives or artificial ingredients. Bagels are always fresh, soft inside and crispy outside. Friendly staff, large selection and great prices. Easy parking with their own lot, mainly grab and go, since there isn't much seating available.

Sometimes, all you want is a good, old-school, New York-style bagel. Nothing artisan, exotic, or made for TikTok. Just a simple chewy bagel with great topography. You'll find them at The Bagel Factory, a family owned and operated institution (with 3 locations in LA). Their salt bagel is my favorite, toasted and slathered with goat milk butter (from my fridge). Crusty exterior, soft interior. For a few delicious moments, you'll remember that life is good. Highly recommended.

Reason for review is simple: the lox bagel sandwich I ordered is nearly $20...and there was barely any lox.

The bagel itself had great flavor without being overly salty or too chewy. I also tried the stuffed garlic bagel, which was delicious and nicely balanced--not overwhelmingly garlicky like some other places. It's a garlic-stuffed bagel filled with garlic cream cheese, and if you're a garlic lover, this is a must-try. The first few bites were absolutely heavenly. That said, it's definitely rich and filling. I could only finish half in one sitting. We also tried the Bacon Scallion Calic, which had a great balance of savory bacon, scallions, and garlic. It wasn't nearly as heavy as the Signature Calic, so I found it much easier to finish. I'd definitely come back with a bigger group so we can try more of their bagels. In addition to their specialty Calic bagels, they also offer plain bagels, a variety of cream cheese spreads, sandwiches, and drinks. The shop itself is spacious with a small amount of indoor seating, plus a cute outdoor patio that's perfect if the weather is nice.

The quality of food is second to none. Not only are the workers and owners just simply fantastic, their food is too. Our favorites are the MCB (nova lox, tomato, onion, capers & plain cream cheese on an everything bagel) and the Loxsmith (nova lox, crispy salmon skin, radish, pickled fennel, dill & beet cream cheese on an everything bagel). The MCB shines above all the other sandwiches for me and it's our favorite breakfast in the morning. Every bagel has the right amount of chewiness that we all love. My family and I would walk and frequent this place every morning to start the day with their fantastic bagels when we lived in the area. 5/27/2026 4 Stars -…read moreminus 1 Star for lack in parking spaces. First time at Belle's. PEC Got it on a plain bagel. The bagel was fluffy and had a nice chew! Herby mayo, hot sweet peppers had a hint of spice, pastrami was soft and not too salty, egg was fluffy. It was a good bagel sandwich. However, I don't think I'd reorder this. LATKE Crispy and savory. The sourcream and apple sauce together was delicious. Absolutely loved the apple sauce, which had a beautiful texture and sweetness that was addictive. The star was the applesauce! SALT BAGEL, EVERYTHING BAGEL, CACIO E PEPE, EVERYTHING PUMPERNICKEL BAGEL All of the untoasted bagels except the Cacio e Pepe, had a firm outer texture, a bit hard to tear apart with hands. Inside the bagels were dense, yet had a light chewy texture and not dry either. Toasted, they were even better. The outer crust was beautifully crispy and the inside bagel was soft and chewy. The beet cream cheese was delicious with all the bagels! Cacio e Pepe was soft all around, unlike the other bagels. Cacio e Pepe had a light cheese and black pepper crust. It wasn't full of cacio e pepe flavor right off the bat, but still enough to know what you're eating. If you ate only the top bagel, I think you'll get the best of this bagel. Still good all around, even toasted. I think it will be great as a bagel sandwich. Everything Pumpernickle had a good pumpernickle flavor in addition to the everything seasonings. They did not skimp on the seasonings! Every inch of that bagel was covered in seasonings! Favorite Bagels: Salt Bagel, Everything Bagel BEET CREAM CHEESE Delicious! Smooth, creamy, almost buttery! This is whipped cream cheese with roasted beet puree. Light in beet flavor, it had dill in it too. I was hesitant in getting a tub because it was on the pricier side. But it was so good, glad I got it! SEATS / AMBIANCE It had a lovely East Coast diner feel when walking in. But still, the space felt a bit cluttered. There were booths, counter seats and outdoor seats too. It was packed inside on a Wednesday lunch. Got there before noon. CUSTOMER SERVICE Overall good, friendly service. Staff was smiling and that's always a good thing! Went on a Wednesday before noon, but it was nearly packed. PARKING Horrible. Just horrible. Street parking only. There's a few spots directly in front of Belle's, but it's metered parking too and also it was full. It's parking that always makes or breaks your experience when driving to LA. After driving around to find a decent parking spot, I finally found one close to Belle's, but after parking, I realized it was a loading zone. So hurried to get my food to go and just ate in the car. Overall, I enjoyed the bagels here and would love to return for their bagels and lunch offerings.

I understand it's hard to keep everything clean when a restaurant is busy, but this time the place was almost empty. There were food crumbs on the floor around our table and some tables still had leftovers on them. It wasn't very pleasant while eating. I'll probably come back because the food is worth it. If the restaurant is cleaner next time, I'd be happy to give it more stars.

I saw that they now offer Buffalo wings, there were multiple 8 by 11 print-out photos posted inside letting customers know. Since I'm a practicing Trytarian, I need to try (almost) everything at least once, especially in regard to food (except the deadly blowfish delicacy of course, dog, or cannibalism). I have a soft-spot for wings, but discipline myself to eat them only on special occasions or when an intense craving arises. But I gave in to give this new menu item a try. However, while ordering them I was met with an unpleasant surprise. I found it deeply heretical that they only offered ranch and not the standard blue cheese. I know there's a lot of ranch enthusiasts out there, I went to a college with a high-amount of Midwestern representation, and I too would often find myself participating in their "dipping fries in ranch" ritual. However, when it comes to Buffalo wings, my philosophy has always been blue cheese and crispy or GTFO. Nonetheless, I found myself unexpectedly eating (despite no blue cheese) and enjoying these Buffalo wings at Bagel & Slice on a late-Monday afternoon. Props to offering 8-pieces over 6. That felt generous and comfortably iconoclastic. But please get your act together and offer blue cheese in addition to ranch (if you must). Even the guy who ordered wings after me, while I was eating them asked for blue cheese. Locals and nearby Oxy students will certainly appreciate having high-quality Buffalo wings close by. But I cannot and will not endorse these wings until they are served with the option of blue cheese dressing.
