Had Screw in my tire near this location. I called and they said they could help me out with my situation if the tire was in stock if needing a replacement. Sam's club fixed it for free for members!!!! 5+ stars I had some shopping to do and they had me in and out in less than 45 mins. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! I am so pleased that this location was in the right place at the right time. If I lived near this location I would definitely shop here more! Customer service has been decent and prices are ok. Only rude staff I've encountered was a door keeper once about 2 years ago who was very condescending. My recent gripe was last evening when my wife and I shopped there. We went to order food at the restaurant and we were told that they no longer take payment at the restaurant counter. You have to use their stupid app and order food through the Sam's App! I tried several times to get the app going with no success. First it sends me a numerical code to "prove" that's it me using the app. It took at least 5 minutes to get the code sent to my email. When I entered the code it rejected it! Then I had it resent to me and I had to wait another 5-8 minutes for it to arrive in my email again. I finally got the app to open and then it told me to go to customer service for some issue! We finally said this is enough hassle and we ate at another pizza place in town. This is crazy! Why can't they accept a card payment? If I have to go through this crap every time I want to eat there I'll never eat there again. I just hope they don't force you to use their stupid app when making future business purchases in the store! Also, it would be nice to bring back the empty shipping boxes for customers to use for hauling food items to your car. read more

Called Edmond, OK Sam's to place party meat/food trays order for a graduation party in May. No one would pick up in the meat/deli dept. Tried that 2 x, no answer. Called and waited 2x for the main number to have someone pick up. Finally picked up and she said she thought no one was in deli-I said correct if there is no one can I speak to a manager thinking I would get some help with menu or at least when to call and who/where to make contact with tomorrow. Put on hold-never picked up. I called back and customer service desk person says cant you just order it?! I have to explain to her their own service that no, large tray orders have to be done with a person, no online option. She said she could not get anyone to help me. So-no help for me from any management in the store or her unless she tales my name and number to maybe get a call back from someone! I call to complain at 1800 sams-three transfers later with foreigners they say they got the manager on the line for me. Nope-just a young man from the store customer service line in Edmon, OK. He could not help! America-we are stupid sheep to keep giving Sam's and these type of stores our money, when they do nothing to help us, do not offer help in the stores to check out or for info, make us do their jobs in checkout and could care less to even assist for a big order because there is no accountability for them above to do so! They have no competition so they know they get money for doing nothing but piling goods on the floor, not necessarily cheaper and not even giving you a person to help you purchase it half the time and make you wait at the door to make sure you didn't steal anything with your reciept! Once I was a fan of Sams. I converted myself to a costco-ian in Princeton NJ soon after its shop was sadly closed. Now the Sam's club here is strong. Now I am weighing costco and Sam's, but slowly leaning toward back to Sam's! The big down side is traffic!!! It is really hard to get in and out. The architect was unwise on its design of entrances and exits. I found good prices of many items and gas compared to costco. Worth try! Oh and unlike NJ a membership card is enforced here at the gas. Our son just bought his first car but the headlights looked yellow and discolored. While buying tires we saw a sign that Sam's did headlight restoration for $40 and it comes with a 5 year warranty! We really enjoy Sans club. They have a good selection of quality merchandise. They have a good selection of clothes that are very reasonable. Great selection of groceries. Only drawback is that so often you have to buy in large quantities. Workers are usually pretty friendly. We have the Sam's Plus membership card which seems a little pricey initially. But I think you get 2% back every purchase and I know for us it pays for our membership every year. We only have to pay initial membership. read more

This is my favorite Sam's Club because there's never anyone here. Well, I've never been here on a Saturday, but during the times I've been here, almost the only people here are employees. Keep reading for why it won't become my go to. They also always seem to have some nicer furniture here than at some of the other Sam's. I found some very cool barstools here before Christmas - they almost looked like something you'd find at Whiskey Cake or Slaughter's Hall, rather than for sale at a Sam's. There were also some cool bookcases and storage cabinets. Other than that, it's a pretty standard Sam's, with one glaring mistake: There's not a floral section here. Just one small rack with bouquets. Big mistake. I pretty much only come to Sam's when I'm hosting a big shower or party. I'm here to buy plates and cups, napkins and sodas, big bags of chips... and... wait for it... lots and lots of flowers! Not having a floral section here will keep me from coming here to prep for a party. read more

I cannot thank employee's SCOTT & DONALD (Tire/Battery Department) enough for their help replacing my truck battery that fortunately decided to fail while in the Sam's parking lot. I went in and explained the situation and they came right out to check the charge on my current battery. They used a battery jumper and I drove the truck right over and pulled it in to the work area. Luckily they had the size battery that I needed and promptly replaced it. They both were very kind and helpful and I couldn't thank them enough for helping me out of a bad situation! Many thanks SCOTT & DONALD! You both were just awesome! (I just want to make clear to Management that this situation took place on 1/19/2022. Ordered a cake with one of the bakery workers, Ana, and was excited about how it would turn out. She was very helpful with deciding on details and overall cake info. They were out of some fillings, but we managed to put together something nice. Fast forward twenty four hours later to when I'm picking up the cake and first, they (the ladies in the bakery) told me that someone else had taken my cake. Two of the workers actually cared and were looking for my cake while the others proceeded to goof around in the back. After almost 20 minutes of waiting, one of the ladies finally told me they didn't have my cake. The worker that took my order, Ana, never submitted the order. That's all she said. Didn't even try to help fix the situation in any way. This goes to say I will likely never order a cake from here again. This happened in March. It's now May, I'm just now getting around to write about it, and I'm still upset. read more

It's a SAMs club, similar to every other SAMs club. The prices are pretty good for the product. Food selection is ok, not much organic offerings. But they carry what we need. TV prices are really good especially. The customer service is hit and miss. I've had a lot of check out clerks and folks at the customer service desk be wonderful. I've had a couple encounters with an especially rude "manager", though. Employees also have a tendency to bad mouth managers while helping customers, which is just unprofessional. I know it's petty, but those are the types of things that people remember when at a business. Every few months an online discount site will sell discount memberships to SAMs, so I definitely suggest using that. There will usually be vouchers as well, but these can be a pain. You really have to fight to get the "free" product. All in all I will continue to shop here. I would not pay full price for the membership. And if Costco opened up across the street, I would head over and never look at SAMs again. But that's just me :) read more

Since moving to Edmond, this is the closest bulk buying option. I rate this Sam's as a two star due to awful customer service, and Members Mark products. Members Mark products are just cheap quality, at a higher price than Costco. Costco Kirkland's brand are usually amazing, high quality, hold up well, and are guaranteed! Members Mark products, don't hold up and have super short guarantees! I purchased a hose bin, meant for outdoor use, it lasted less than six months. I called Sam's customer service and was told it had a 30day guarantee, and could not/would not do anything to help! That never happened to me at Costco. Customer service is slow, and not helpful. I once was there and the cashier was sliding my purchases down, she pushed them off by accident on to the ground, she didn't bother help mending her mistake, rather grunted rolled her eyes with irritation that I wasn't moving fast enough to load my cart, and kept scanning. Again something I never once experienced with Costco. I shopped at Costco for 10+ years. This happened at Sam's year one! My last complaints are the ever constantly changing products, just when you find a healthy product you love they keep it for a few months, then swap it out for something new. Another problem is door check out. I feel I dress like a typical Edmond person, yet at door check out the door clerk scrutinizes my five items, repeatedly counting my items, as if from the checkout register where I just came from a disgruntled clerk I magically managed to grab the large boxed items on the way to the door. I feel like I'm being judged as a criminal, and there clearly is only five items! This has happened more than once, so that's why it makes it in the ranks of complaints. I hope they turn their customer service and Members Mark products around. I am still anxiously awaiting a Costco to come to the Edmond area! read more

Bought a car battery and they removed the date of manufacture sticker and said I needed to keep the receipt in case it failed in 3 years. Sam's claimed this for my protection since the 3 years started at time of installation rather than manufacture. This seems like a sneaky trick on Sam's part where they hope you lose your receipt and they won't have to honor warranty. Shame on you Sam's Club. read more

I go to Sam's every week. So it is a big box store with huge quantities and decent pricing, right? What makes this Sam's different? You ask. The people. Miss Shirley, Miss Linda, Josh at customer service and so many more make it a great place to be. They are so kind and helpful. The self checkout is awesome. I use it every time. The take and bake pizzas are good for the price. Back in the meat department they have prime steaks with a guarantee that are really good fresh cut steaks. They open early for plus members and even offer you fruit, a Danish and coffee. Overall, this Sam's club is great. Keep up the great work and keep Miss Shirley, Miss Linda and others around! So this Sam's is very well loved. Meaning it really could use a makeover compared to the shinier, newer Costco across town. I find the layout confusing but the shelves are well stocked. The staff seem to be well acquainted with their customers which is appreciated. Our primary need for our membership was rooted in our need for great baby formula at a decent price. We found that in the Sam's brand similar to Similac Sensitive. Four large containers lasted months October-December for under $100. read more

My membership expired and with only me and a child that doesn't eat much, we still go to Sam's and enjoy the food court! I always order pretzels with dip and my son likes the pizza combo... btw, the Hot Dogs are gigantic and the burgers come with a clump of meat and the value of all of their food items are fantastic! Last time we went the guy made me a batch of fresh pretzels (sometimes when they have already prepared some then they're not that fresh but still heavenly delicious!) and brought them to the table, I thought that was very sweet! Also, they offer pre cut onions in tiny plastic tubs with lids and sauerkraut in little pouches you can add to your food at no cost, love it more than I should, lol. We also had a four berry Sunday and it was really good! The amount of ice cream depends on the server, sometimes a little more on lucky days and sometimes a little less-still good enough and a great value! Overall, the Sam's food court is worth a trip and you can feed tons of people on a low budget, greatly appreciated! (It's not fancy but it's good enough for me and honestly you can't expect fanciness for the money you pay but you can expect to get filled up with food I love for very little money ). read more

And depending on the discount program you have, however, for any of you that follow my reviews, Customer Service means going above and beyond. This Sams Club Pharmacy does that time and time again. They are always willing to make sure my address and phone number is up to date and take the time to print out alternative generic med info that I can take back to my insurance and physician to see if it may be an option to help save me some cash. I'll admit my love for Sam's. From the cheap golf shirts, to the snack samples to the Nathan's hot dogs they sell at the cafe and everything in between. I've shopped at Sam's for years. So why write a review now? Recently, Sam's introduced their "scan & go" app, which allows you to check yourself out. Scan while you are out shopping, when you are done, hit "pay", (it dings your credit card) and you walk right past all those folks standing in line. A quick scan of your phone at the door and you are outta there. The first time I used it I felt like I was stealing, and caught a lot of angry glares when I bypassed the line. It was great fun. As a bonus, the app stores your membership card and all your receipts. Kudos to Sam's innovation. read more

The day of the wedding, we went to pick it up and they did not have their order-5 hours before the wedding. Everything about the club is great. But I don't understand how food employees can get away with wearing gloves & never replacing them after handling money. Also, the self checkout registers are hardly ever in working condition & they're always shown "open". So people stand in line forever before finding out the registers are out of order. read more

Been a Sam's member over 20 years, have saved $$$$ and have observed there continuous improvement. Member of Costco as well and think it's funny that anyone thinks there's a big difference. I consider them equals. They both have pretty good store brand products but I do prefer Sam's with regard to wine and certain other products where they carry familiar name brands as opposed to having their own Sam's brand of wine. I like to compare prices and you can't do that with the storebrand labels because you don't know where it's at to convert him. read more
