After sharing my review of an experience my daughter and I had with the bakery...I received a message within the hour thanking me for my feedback and advising it would be taken seriously. Within an hour of that response I received a phone call from the manager Elena! I called her back and the first thing she did was explain that she apologized if I wasn't the correct person and her reason for the call and message. After establishing that I'm the person that made the review...she immediately apologized for my experience and thoroughly listened to the details. This level of customer service is almost unheard of!!! Not only was there an apology and a plan to ensure the issue doesn't happen again she accommodated us for the inconvenience and the poor experience. I'm a real person that is very aware and conscious of where I spend my money and time and I will continue to shop with Sam's Club and support them! Hopefully this reviews helps others understand that they care about their customers and our experience! Everything you need in one store in BULK! I like to go through each aisle checking out the latest deals and seeing what's new. I have my tried & true favorites which I shop on a regular. Lines can get super long in the cash only lanes. Seems there's a random receipt check these days; As my receipt was checked on departure but the shopper in front of me was waved through. Customer service at front desk is hit or miss, depends on the day you shop & who's working. Today it was great! Easy layout & always samples. read more

Don't the employees have to speak anymore in this store? I asked an employee where I would find Ensure and they just pointed and called away. I asked a cashier if she was open" and she pointed to another cashier. I went to that cashier and he held out his hand. I asked what he needed and, with a disgusted look he said "card"! Finally, someone spoke to me! Then another person offered me a Sam's Master Card for $30 off that day. I showed her that I already had one so she just walked away without another word. My last experiences in the last couple of months has been awful w/Sam's & I am so mad I paid for the top membership. I originally signed up for it bcuz I was going through a rough patch in life. Then all of a sudden the next year you had to order $50 worth of items to be shipped. Mind you, I am already paying more for my membership. When I do order & I want the items shipped to my surprise they are delivered, not letting me know. Items have sat outside all night. Of course, they put them so everyone from the street can see them. Then, in October I placed my 1st delivery order. My delivery came on time, but it was not my order. So I had to order the next day. Of course, you can write delivery instructions & they don't even pay attention. I called this morning & was on hold for 41 minutes & the person kept saying hello like she couldn't hear me & hung up. In that time a person came on & said they don't have whatever items, I couldn't understand her & I said she has the wrong person & said oh, I will be w/you in a minute.21 minutes later someone came on only to hang up. It is pretty sad what Sam's is turning into. They get rid of stores, only to become a sad company. Now I understand why most of my friends dropped Sams & joined CostCo. Just spent over 20 minutes waiting for a gas pump to open. I was the only waiting car on my line, but the other lines were packed. The front bay of 2 pumps for the entire duration of visit (almost 30 mins) was just sitting in her car. No pumping or other activity the entire time - just sitting there. I knocked on the window for the attendant to say something- not only did he refuse - but said it wasn't his job and that I was a damn f---in jacka$$ and to tell her myself. The pharmacist is an over bearing nosy control freak. Refused to give me the prescription my Dr. sent for my DIABETES medication. She crossed examined me asking why I was on this medicine, why don't I take a different one.... She said my prescription was not even working for me ( what a fool) .... She crossed the privacy act. After my Dr. called her and insisted she knows what medicine I NEED TO BE ON, she let me pick it up. While I was shopping for spices after pick up, she took her corded phone left her counter shut the door so the tech could not hear her, she was laughing about the situation to who ever she was speaking with. This woman Felicia is a real loon. She should not be judge and jury for what medicine you are o. And should shut her yapping and do her job. BY FELICIA... I have a love/ hate relationship with Sam's club. I love the scan n go app I love their Members choice coffee I love the sushi I love the rotisserie chicken I hate the prices they make you think are a good deal but aren't after you factor in the club cost. I miss the Campbells Tomato soup this store used to carry, and also the White Cheddar Cheese Nips. But that's not my main complaint. Last night 5/9/24 about 7pm I came across a fat man on a stool where they check your cart before you exit the store. He scanned 3 items while still on his stool...all while trying to chat about the big container of Cheese Balls in my cart. Then he wanted to know if it was ok if he scanned my Cheese Balls (a 4th item). He was clearly referencing a sexual meaning. I think he should be fired. I'd watch my step in that store. Also I saw a price label on Bounty paper towels, that another customer was looking at. It showed a price reduction for "scan and go" I believe it was termed. I stopped to ask a store employee about the program, but he was so hard to understand, that even asking him to repeat it I had no idea what he was saying. I think he was possibly illiterate in English. They really need a 0-star rating option for disgusting experiences. Maybe it's time to look into Costco. read more

This is one of the larger Sam's I have ever been inside. Each of the departments appear to be more spacious, yet this facility does not carry anything different than the other stores so I am left with a feeling of "wasted space". The shopper traffic through the doors painful so you suddenly have a facility that is too busy for the number of employees working. Employees seem stressed and tired. No one appears to like, let alone enjoy being at work. I have shopped at this store on several occasions and each time, I can't find what I am looking for (and I KNOW it's a staple), the isles are crowded with shoppers and the check outs are 4 deep with shoppers that are doing their monthly shopping. I think I'll head up the street to a smaller SC, before they shut it down. read more

Okay full disclosure...I have been a Costco member for 5+ years. I love Costco and had always thought that it was cleaner and had a better variety than Sam's. I shopped on a one day pass for a big party I was having. It was close and I was crunched for time so this was the perfect time to try them out. The store was clean and well lit. The staff was friendly and it was easy to get to what I needed. I was unfamiliar with the logical location of a few items so I asked. I was answered pleasantly and they even asked if I wanted them to walk them over to the location. Checkout was quick and easy. Sam's is much closer for me, I'm considering a switch. read more

The store had great prices and is usually stocked with hard to find items due to shortages/pandemic. The optical staff and eye doctor were awesome! Dr. Paradesi was very nice and thorough. She did a great job explaining everything to me. I learned so much about my eyes at my appointment! I don't have vision insurance and never knew I could get such great, affordable glasses at Sam's Club! I'll definitely be coming back for my yearly check ups! read more

A new and perfect Sam's Club. From the numerous cart corrals, the excess of friendly employees, to the super cheap gas, this is the place to be. There is another Sam's Club just miles east of here on route 59 but this location is bigger, has a larger food area, and the gas is $.15 cents less expensive. I doubt the super low gas price will last forever but for now it's a welcomed sight. The product selection is quite similar to other Sam's Clubs but with the extra space here I think there are more TVs on display, a greater inventory of clothing, and for sure larger fresh fruit, bakery, and frozen food areas. Employees here were very friendly and that may be just because it's new but it would be great if it stayed that way! read more

I use Sam's Club pick up service frequently. Ordering is easy, team members are friendly and helpful, and pick up times are plentiful.

We belong to Costco and to Sam's Club. We do price compare and Sam's does beat Costco on certain Brand items that we use. It is a further drive for us, but we go about once a month to stock up. My husband likes the fact that the aisles are marked so we are not searching all day looking for where they put the laundry detergent, etc. They give you a scan gun so you can quickly check out. The Montgomery store is much cleaner and the customers/staff are nicer. Being realistic, everything makes a difference. Since samples are no longer given anywhere, it's a toss up. I just wish people would post positive as well as negative reviews. I am trying to change. read more

It was my very first time ordering a cake at Sams and it definitely my last time. I found a nasty hair inside of the icing when we wanted to serve it for our guests. I called 2 times and the manager is always busy. Bad customer service and the person that answers she has bad attitude. It is not about the money it is a health issue. Seriously, it is nasty to find a hair in your son's birthday cake and nobody care from that department. They also said nobody has long hair so next time people keep the hair for DNA TEST. 3 issues - two store specific, one company-wide: 1. Went shopping for tires here last fall. Every set I found online they didn't have in stock. Tire center guy was kinda bemused. Oh, you wanted the cheaper set that was on sale? Silly you - of course they're out of stock. Finally settled on a set. Set up an appointment to have them installed. Asked if I should pay for them now or wait until they put them on. Guy said it didn't matter. Went in for my appointment and a different guy started tapping away at the computer like he's writing a novel. Finally says, "oh we don't have your tires anymore". I was like, huh? He said they must have sold out. I asked why he didn't keep a set to fulfill my order. Was not given a satisfactory response. At the end of the day I chose another, even more expensive set but was given a gift card for the mess up. That bought my silence. At least that time. 2. Wife finds Soniccare toothbrush heads on the Sams Club website for $40. Goes to the store and they are $50. They refuse to give her the online price. Instead they told her she needs to buy them online, wait a day then go pick them up in the store. To be clear - she's still paying $40, it's the same product that's sitting on the shelf right now, but instead of being rational, they're making her jump through all those extra hoops for the same result. 3. Final issue - this is company-wide and not just this store. I'm tired of being hustled for Direct TV, cutlery, opening a credit card and upgrading my membership every time I go to this or any store. I actually pay for this membership - inviting in your affiliates to shake me down every trip makes my shopping experience bad. I used to shop at Sam's club more - now I cringe every time I have to go there. read more

In the recent two months, the prices of most items at Sams has gone up significantly in some cases by almost 1.75 times. One soap is priced right for now @ 20 bars for $12 but I bought a 24 pack for $10 from Sams just 6 months ago. Sams does not know how to manage its supply chain and is instead blindly increasing prices and passing on increased prices to its customers. The value of a Sam's club membership is steadily decreasing each year since the pandemic began. After being a member for many years, I am now thinking about not renewing. read more

Dealing with the management and the guys in the tire department was one of the most frustrating things I have had to deal with ever. My wife and I were members for 26 before we cancelled our membership a few months ago. For almost 20 years, we had both Costco and Sam's Club memberships. We elected to keep our Costco membership and drop Sams club because Sam's Club was so poorly stocked during the pandemic coupled with extremely bad customer service. I did love the scan and go app but when that app stopped working, I had to deal with Sam's tech support and after almost 3 hours of getting the runaround, we dropped our membership at Sam's Club. I live in Naperville where Sams club dropped their club at the same time that Costco added a second club. Don't waste your money getting a Sam's Club membership, just go directly to Costco and sign up there. read more

Purchased a "big" christmas present on 12/12/20 that should have been delivered on 12/17. When it wasn't delivered I contacted the company to be told it would ship in 24-48 hours. It did not ship and I was told it was an error on their end. The only options were to refund or replace but both options don't process for 5-7 business days which is past Christmas. This is the second time within 3 weeks we have had issues with this company. I will never purchase online again. read more

Horrible customer service. We bought king size bed sheet set on a One day sale. Since the color was not matching with other stuff in our bedroom, we went back to SamsClub In Montgomery location. The customer service and manager refused to honor the price for the exchange. I am surprised even the manager said the same. Really Sams Club? You don't do a even exchange (original pack was never even opened). Exchange for a color change. Wake up guys and learn from other stores. I had a similar experience couple years ago for a return with Sams Club in Naperville. Everybody knows what happened to it due to bad service. If anybody executives from Sams Club is reading this review and care about it, please train your employees on customer service. Deceptive practices or lazy? I went to our local Sam"s today to purchase a Protein drink that had an instant savings of $4.00 per case. When I went to pay for the three cases only one case came up with the savings. The young lady in charge said it was because I had purchased the protein drink earlier in the month and there was a 3 case limit. The problem I have with this is no where was this stated on the signs. The drink display was in many areas and only one of the 10 signs said a 3 limit per transaction, it did not say a 3 limit per household. There was no point in getting mad, so we just did not buy the product. THEN, on our way out I saw that Premium gas was $3.37 per gal. on the sign in the vestibule. But, when we got to the pump it was really $3.44 per. gal. I am not sure if they are trying to cheat me or just to lazy to put out correct information. Either way, if you go there, make sure that you pay close attention to what is going on. read more
