Cartoon buns from the kids menu
    Marco Z.

We decided to have dinner at Sam's because they served cartoon buns on the kids menu and we thought our toddler would love that. We walked in around 6pm and was sat within a few minutes. We ordered a bowl of egg drop soup, original xiao long bao, and tan tan noodles. While we waited for the food, they had what looked to be an open kitchen where the staff were making xiao long baos and dumplings live or to order. Being from Southern California and having eaten at many restaurants that serve similar dishes, the food was ok in my opinion. It's possible I had high expectations when comparing the flavors. Our toddler enjoyed the giraffe cartoon buns, steamed broccoli, and xiao long baos. The bowl of egg drop soup was ok and a bit salty for me. The xiao long baos had a thin dough wrap, which is a huge plus! The flavor of the xiao long bao filling was decent, although a little watery and loose for my liking. The tan tan noodles had a nice light spicy kick and the noodles tasted like it was homemade because there was a bit of bounce with every bite. The restaurant was clean, staff was friendly, and no issues with parking as they shared a huge parking lot with other businesses.

We came in starving at 3:00pm. We were so happy the food came so quickly! We started with cucumber salad, which could have used a little more flavor. I've had it at other dumpling places and so I was expecting a hint of sweetness but this one didn't. We got two kinds for xiao long bao-original and "specialty" and some chicken cabbage pan fried dumplings as well. The XLB dumplings were flavorful. The "pan fried" dumplings seemed to be deep fried, not pan fried, which dried them out a bit. Overall we had a pretty good late lunch. They have a lunch special where you get 1 starter, 1 soup, 1 and one entree for $20. We didn't do it though. We decided we would go again sometime if we are in the area.

My first time here and I was greeter met me immediately. It was very clean and neat. They were preparing for the day and I got to watch them get ready. They use colored dough for various dishes and the colors identify what's inside. Pork, crab, prawn, chili, and various vegetables. Excellent food and I'll definitely come back.

We arrived shortly after opening to smiles from the staff. The restaurant was brightly lit with the sun shining through the windows. Everything on the menu sounded delicious. We decided on the Pork Belly Bun, Pork & Chive Dumplings, plus a few others. We had the opportunity to watch them make their dumplings by hand, which added to the experience. Even though they had only been open a couple of weeks, they were almost packed when we left.

Originally coming for Scenthound and Yogurtland but happened upon this place. The ambiance has a typical cafe vibe with fast service and a to-go kiosk at the front. Small area of tables, but super speedy as best as they can be. Now the food is what truly brought me in since I love soup dumplings. One thing I love is a thin skin wrapper which is hard with soup dumplings. Now here is what we ordered: 1. Original Xiao Long Bao: soupy and steamy! However about half of the baos were broken when you picked them up. Good flavor 2. Corn Xiao Long Bao: i loved actually having corn and the flavor shine through. The corn wrapper was thinner then the original and did tend to break as well, but so good! 3. Pork and Chive Dumpling in Chili Oil: these dumplings have such a strong flavor on their own but was enhanced with the chili oil. 4. Green Beans with Pork: typically I like the garlic but the pork was seasoned to perfection and was such a salty bite. Overall service was quick! and delicious. The food was very flavorful and on point. The knock of the star was truly just price point. I wish they would allow the small order of dumplings during the weekend since it would've been nice to try more options, but the dumplings were great!

Yum! Their dumpling selection is excellent but we preferred their regular dumplings over the soup dumplings personally. We also particularly liked their Mapo Tofu! We will definitely be back!

Service was quick and efficient. We were greeted right away and got our menus. This is a great place for lunch as they have a $20 lunch special with appetizer, soup and main. Our server was very nice and kept refilling our waters and was attentive to our needs. We ordered the hot and soup and egg drop soup, both were delicious and not overly salty. Our entrees were generous. We had pork cabbage dumplings, braised beef noodle soup with generous side of vegetables. I tasted the essence of Chinese 5 spice with reminder me of home. The beef was tender . We also had the Xiao Long bao which were great. The egg rolls were very hot as they just came out of the fryer and were crispy and delicious. II you are craving beef braised noodles or any of the other dumplings I would come here. Plenty of parking is a plus.

I hate to be the fist non 5 star reviewer here but I'm going to be honest. 4 of us came here and all 4 of us know where to find the best dumplings and Chinese within a 30 minute drive. We had high hopes for this place since it's a mile away, but I'm not sure I would come back. I would say everything was good but we've had better with everything we ordered. There wasn't a single thing that blew our mind. Here is everything we ordered: - original Xiao long bao - chili oil pork dumplings - tan tan noodles - mapo tofu - edamame - noodles with pork belly - shrimp shumai Service was great and the place filled up about 20 minutes after opening.

Came in for the dumplings, left talking about the tofu. The mapo tofu was hands down the best dish: silky, rich, and actually memorable. This is the authentic version, make sure to save some rice to enjoy the sauce on the bottom of the plate! The wood ear mushrooms and pork belly noodles were also excellent, with great texture and flavor. The dumplings looked beautiful, especially the chili oil and soup dumplings, but didn't fully deliver, good, just not bold enough, and the spice never really showed up. Overall, worth a visit, but order strategically: tofu, mushrooms, noodles first... dumplings second.

We had a great experience eating dinner here! We are not Chinese cuisine experts but the food seemed very authentic and fresh. We saw the dumplings being hand rolled right in the kitchen. I would say the dumplings were as good as the ones I tried at Din Tai Fung. The mapo tofu made our mouths tingly - which we looked up and found out it's because they use real sichuan peppers which are known to leave that feeling on your tongue. That's what let me know it was authentic bc I've had mapo tofu at other places and never felt that tingle. The interior is decorated very nicely with colorful lanterns and a large wall mural. It was really clean and bright inside.

Yay!!! More Asian food in Centennial. I was impressed... as most of the dumpling places in the area have fallen very flat for me. XLB and beef noodle was better than all the competition! I didn't like the shrimp harkow... Federal is better. However... solid all around and prices were reasonable... which I am grateful for these days. Will be back soon!

This place is a gem and no wonder they are busy. It's located in a center in a busy intersection. The decoration inside is very colorful and clean. The service is fast and it's because they fulfill online orders as well. The food comes out quick, hot and fresh. Add it with their chili oil.... Perfect combination! It's a small space so come early to avoid the rush hour time. Will be back again for sure.

I liked the people, the place, the menu, the location, but honestly I paid $30 for leftovers that I can't eat. It's a shame. I've never before seen anything this greasy. The owner came out to my car after I exited and asked why I didn't like it. While I respect that, he explained that what appeared as grease was instead, sauce, and that it was flash fried. The problem is that neither the sauce nor grease had taste or spice. When I placed several pieces of beef on a napkin, they saturated the napkin with oil. Maybe it's an oily sauce? They were generous with the beef. The beef quality was pretty good, and the vegetables were unique enough to merit praise. If it were me, I would ramp up the taste quotient in either the marinade or sauce, eliminate 90% of the oil, as it's unnecessary, and add spice. This could be a healthy dish if they used avocado oil, way less oil, and reduced the salt.

I also got my hands on a Lychee CHI sparkling water. I love how their drinks aren't a crazy upcharge. I think their fried rice (and everything I've ever gotten) has been 1000% better than any other take out Chinese fast food in Colorado. And the prices are on point. My favorite mains so far are the buddah mix which mimics my go to fried tofu stir fry from Panda Express in Hawaii. Plus the mapo tofu. The pork is perfectly seasoned and the tofu is so silky smooth. Great on top of that amazing fried rice. I will make the drive to get take out whenever I'm craving actually good Chinese fast casual food.

That's exactly what happened at East Moon. The menu is huge. Sushi, ramen, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese dishes... basically something for whatever mood you're in. Honestly, I could've made a meal out of those alone. The combination of fish, mango, avocado, sauces, and crispy wonton chips just worked. We also ordered gyoza, beef pad thai, a Hawaiian Dragon Roll, sashimi ceviche, and tonkotsu ramen. Everyone at the table had a different favorite, which is usually a pretty good sign. Everyone was dressed up for the occasion, chandeliers were lining the interior with a gorgeous and sophisticated look, and the music was a fun K-Pop/dance vibe. Our table of three started with the Buddha Button (essentially a lemon drop martini with Deep Eddy's and a special flower that invigorates your taste buds to create a literal "party in your mouth"). Anything cold adds to the buzzing, vibrating energy; pair the flower with a cold cocktail and it's a phenomenal experience! We also had a bottle of white wine - it was to be expected: tasty.
