Don't be shy, order anything from them,…read moreeverything is high quality, noodles and fried rice are wok fried and delicious, service is quick (they will let you know how long it is and their time claims are accurate). The ambiance varies, usually there are people in around 12pm to 2am, and the TV is seemingly randomly on or off. They have multiple TVs, sometimes one is playing cartoons, another might be playing Thai street cooking videos, though often most of the time they're all off. Whether you are sitting down for a meal or ordering take out from their app (great app by the way, never had any problem with it), there's always something on the menu that can strike your fancy. I've ordered the majority of their fried rice at some point or another before, along with their majority of their noodles, and the spice is even toned down compared to the Thai restaurant at the front of Bellevue mall. This is because Sno Thai's scale goes from 1-10 while Bellevue Mall's Thai place goes from 1-5. 3 is a comfortable amount of heat here, 5 is decently challenging. Unfortunately I've never asked if they offer spice levels between 5-10, as 5 jumps to 10 at Sno Thai. Also, there is a notable jump from 3 to 4 in terms of heat for the spiciness. That's really the only criticism I have of them, though also their new-ish fried chicken dishes have too much bone and not enough meat. The food itself is what it says it is and as an enjoyer of Thai food, they are very authentic. One problem I had with the Thai restaurant by Echo Ridge (called "Thai Eatery") was there being too much vegetables and not enough noodles, here there is plenty of noodle. The portions are good and reasonable, slightly more than enough to make you full but not exceedingly generous to the point that it's too much. The prices are average for Washington state, around 20 dollars for an entree and 30 to 40 after tax if you order a combo pack (their app and machine in store offer combo deal meals, which are the most efficient cost wise to have both a speciality drink and an appetizer with your entree). Nowadays I go at least once or twice a week minimum, I sometimes order something new, and they've always exceeded expectations. They treat regular customers very well and I'd even claim this is the restaurant with the best variance on their menu around here. If you're stopping by Snoqualmie definitely try this restaurant! On Monday through Friday they are closed from 3 to 4pm. Some appetizer items on recommendation list may be sold out. So we stopped by Taan Thai Cookery and had a delicious meal. We shared an appetizer of spring rolls - crispy and delicious, served in the tiny mesh basket they were fried in. The plum sauce was the perfect taste to accompany them! Then my wife had a bowl of Thai fried rice with shrimp. The rice was slightly nutty and slightly sweet, and the rest of the ingredients were well-prepared and cooked. I had the Thai Beef Soup, which is similar to Pho, but spiced differently. It was also delicious, and with the 3-stars of heat, it was just about perfect! (I might go for 4 stars next time, as I like spice and heat in my food.) Our meal was delivered to our table quickly, and we spent a leisurely hour just eating and talking, and enjoying our time and the food. Highly recommend this place for good food! As we said last night upon leaving, we've found a new place to put into our rotation of "great places to eat in the Valley."

Thai Trio seems to be a good takeout option, but dining in is more suitable for a 'street-style' encounter they promote instead of a planned night out: there's only like 5 tables inside serviced by metal backless stacking stools, and it would be tight for a 3-person or more party at a table. The menu is simple with limited range: proper for a strip mall t/o function. I found it interesting that the 'about us' feature on the TT web page discussed having a huge success with the Swimming Rama dish, yet it wasn't offered locally, only in their Thailand roots. I ordered the Drunken Noodles $18, and later added Fried Wontons appetizer $9 shortly after the order was already in process. The noodles arrived after a proper delay (not fast, but not slow either), and the wontons appeared a few minutes following, which was good since my wife's order didn't arrive until after these. The wontons were crisp and hot, about 5 or 6 pieces, with a small cup of sweet and sour dipping sauce. Good, but forgettable. My noodles were accompanied by a decent sized serving of pork, and lesser of spinach and other veggies, in a proper amount of sauce. Tasty and matching the medium spiciness ordered, but also forgettable. I left with a full belly. Wife ordered Penang Curry $17, which arrived last. It was a bowl of sauce with chicken in it, with a side bowl of rice, and wife commented that it was devoid of other ingredients: no veggies (maybe there were some, but you'd have to dig around to find them). She commented 'average'. We wanted a simple jasmine tea, and what was probably their strongest offering was the drinks: I watch the one counter person make drink after drink, and they had a fancy label machine that heat-sealed a plastic film over the top. We were expecting hot but a cold beverage arrived $7 ea, and the surprise was pleasant, possibly the high point of the meal. The served greeted us promptly and came for our order timely, but the offered water didn't arrive until after all the food arrived, and with the tea drink. That and the random timing of the dishes sends the message it's best as takeout. And watching the queue of orders going out the door and people stacked up waiting, you're best to order in advance and pick up later: it's not fast food (which they did not claim, either). Prices bordered on being expensive, given a mall facing and lack of a proper dining room. As we were looking for a bigger dining experience and this was not a good match (our fault), it's unlikely we'd return since there are a few others more in line with what we were looking for as an experience.

This dinner meal was for a vegetarian friend and they had to go figure out another meal when we opened it up, since this was rendered inedible to them. We were looking forward to this place but are deeply disappointed by this goof up. To add on, there was just one party dining in which makes it even more difficult to understand as to how did they mess up the order. They charged $19.19 for this specific meal which totally went to waste. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this restaurant. As a courtesy of this goof up, I would expect this restaurant to refund this dish. Edit July2: I was reached out by the owner Amy, refunded half the charge for the incorrect order and was promised an on the house entree the next time I place an order. Considering the other dish was decent to taste and this follow up, I will add another star to the review.
