He quickly identified the inverter problem, handled the warranty replacement, and had a technician scheduled immediately after. Justin, the technician, was excellent -- friendly, communicative, and informative throughout the process. The inverter was replaced, the old unit removed, and everything was back up and running within a few hours. Pricing was fair compared to competitors, and the overall service was top shelf. I'll definitely be using them moving forward for any home solar needs.

From the beginning, I was extremely clear that I would only proceed if the rebate covered the full project cost and that I would not pay any non-refundable deposit. Their representative repeatedly assured me in writing that there were "no upfront fees or deposit required" and agreed to prepare contingency language allowing me to cancel without penalty if the funding was insufficient. After months of follow-ups, delays, and waiting for management to finalize the paperwork, I was suddenly informed that the company had implemented a "new process" requiring a non-refundable $1,000 payment before they would process the application, engineering review, or other preliminary work.

A Smooth Process and a Company I Highly Recommend…read more My experience with Current Home has been exceptional. From the very beginning, the process was easy, efficient, and refreshingly streamlined. After researching different TPOs for over a year, I can honestly say that Current Home proved to be the best option by far. Their professionalism, simplicity, and overall customer experience made this an easy decision, and the positive reviews from other customers only reinforced that I was making the right choice. I would strongly encourage anyone who is even considering a system to at least look into Current Home and see what they have to offer. I have been extremely pleased with my experience, and I would be more than happy to speak with anyone who would like to hear about it directly. M Figueroa

DO NOT SIGN WITH CURRENT HOME SOLAR (based on my experience). We have not saved money since…read moreinstalling solar, and the process has been a constant headache. ISREAL LIED TO US, do not believe their reps. They will make you go in circles to try and get anything resolved. The biggest issue was the lease terms. We were not clearly informed at the time of signing that around the 5-year mark there is a large fee/decision point, and if you don't take action to end/modify the lease at that time, you can remain locked into payments for 20+ years. That detail should have been explained plainly upfront. If you're considering this company, I strongly recommend: * Get the full contract in writing before agreeing to anything. * Ask specifically about what happens at year 5, any fees, and your options to end the lease. * Have someone independent review the agreement so you understand the long-term costs. I wish we had done that, because this has been far more expensive and stressful than we were led to expect.

Review Update: After…read moremy initial review, Eric (the sales rep) and Matt (the owner) of Sunline personally reached out to me and was apologetic about the situation. They sent Travis out promptly, who is their electrician where he found that the issue was resolved by replacing a faulty 40-amp breaker that was intermittently providing the necessary voltage, even though measurements initially appear correct. While the breaker issue caused real inconvenience and unexpected costs on my end, the owner was responsive and showed willingness to smooth things over to work toward a resolution. I also want to highlight that the panel upgrade and solar/battery installation itself was clean and well done. The workmanship that Eddie, Manny, Christian and Jamie performed had overall met my expectations, and once the issue was identified, Sunline did step in to correct it. No project is perfect, but how a company responds when problems arise matters a lot. In this case, Sunline's owner and Eric was engaged, responsive, and made a sincere effort to make things right. As an engineer, and after witnessing the symptoms and corrective actions firsthand, I believe the breaker issue was likely a manufacturing defect, and it was unfortunate that it occurred during the holidays. That said, based on how Sunline handled the situation, the overall quality of their work, and the value they offer, I would recommend them and plan to continue using them for future needs.

Matt stated he has satellite pictures of the house and would send over some estimates......a week later we're still waiting. Decided to go with another company. ps, Nice try. Update for my review with OC - Savannah from customer service reached out regarding my experience…read moreand expressed regret over how things went and changes were actively happening at the company. She offered a free panel cleaning, which she set up internally and had their team come out this past Friday without issue. Since the cleaning the panels have been much better performing especially after these past few weeks of misting and rain, about 25% higher output. I didn't think much of it but I get now it's worth doing to get the most out of the panels. Overall a very good response and experience with OC specifically for this issue. I feel that they do want to stand out from the crowd and responding proactively to feedback gives me more confidence they'll take care of issues as they hear about them.

Every person who came out was professional and respectful. What really set them apart was handling both our full roof replacement and solar installation together. I didn't want a roofing company and solar company pointing fingers at each other down the road -- OC Solar eliminates that headache entirely. Their pricing was competitive, and their substantial warranty sealed the deal. Highly recommend them if you're considering solar!
