I stopped In after work and on my way home to get my fiancé a butter chicken pizza he saw on their social media. I received my order and took it home only time fine that the pizza wasn't what ordered and was a garlic chicken pizza With toppings my fiancé would never order. I called and asked politely for a refund due to not receiving the pizza I had asked for. I was then told by the cashier (Sam as it says on my receipt) that she was the one who helped me and that she remembered what I ordered and that I was wrong. The only solution she suggested was to drive 30 minutes back to the restaurant with the wrong pizza to show them and potentially get a replacement. This is all 1 hour before they close. The entire time she was on the phone she told me I was wrong and that it was my fault and that she could provide a refund. Overall extreamly unhappy with the service. The other pizza I had ordered was correct and tasted great but I will not be returning due to the service I received. read more

I called in a take out order on Friday night. The young lady who took my order was polite and quick. When I went to the store to pick up my order, I was greeted immediately by the young man cleaning the tables. When I reached the counter the young lady greeted me, asked my name and went to get my order. She rang it up quickly and was very friendly. She even told me to drive safely. When we got the food home and ate the pizza, it was the best pizza we have ever had from Mancino's. They are always good, but this one was outstanding. The Italian grinder was great as usual. Family favorite!! This is what the cooks in my family want when they don't want to cook that night. There are no bad dishes that I have ever tried. I haven't tried the whole menu but, I will vouch for it. Damn good food!! Quick and on time, always with your orders. read more

We ordered three sandwiches all to have turkey,roast beer, cheese , red onion , lettuce , tomatoes and mayo and banana peppers , . One was a 16 inch grinder , and two 8 inch subs . The grinder was supposed to have olives on one half . One of the 8 inches had everything we ask for except no turkey . All three sandwiches had no turkey , no red onion , no banana peppers , or mayo . The bread was hard . We won't be back. read more

I really love Mancino's! When i first tried it in another city I was smitten and in disappointed because that meant I had to travel very far. And I know that can't be done on a daily. First of all I grew up around here.... has it always been Samuel Mancino's? I always thought it was just Mancino's. Mind. Blown. Also they have happy hour? Not with drinks but with really solid sandwiches. Mind. Blown. Twice. I'm not sure if it is the bread, the lettuce, or the pornographic amount of mayo that carefully add to each sammy, but, dang these always hit the spot. We won't be back. Ordered take out due to the corona virus shut down. When we got home, 35 minutes from the store, we found the kids sandwich to have lettuce and mayo after specifically telling the owner we didn't want lettuce or mayo. He read it back to me exactly "so bread and meat and cheese." When I called back to get a refund, he told me I had to save the sandwich, put it in the fridge, and bring it back next time I come to get my refund. Poor customer service. I was on tour in Michigan recently and our driver wouldnt shut up about Samuel Mancino's. He claimed they were the best sandwiches in the world. One of the other passengers asked him to describe them and he did. They said "it sounds like you're describing Subway". The driver said "Oh, not at all!" But I found that ironic as the sandwiches ended up being a fresher, better ingredients version of Subway. At his recommendation I got the Italian Sub and the Chicken Sub, both on garlic herb bread. The Chicken was my favorite of the two. It was a standard chicken sandwich, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, etc, but it was good because the ingredients were good. The Italian sub confused me. it had Italian sausage on it, not sliced. It had green peppers on it. Lots of ingredients you wouldnt normally get on an Italian sub, I tried it as it came, thinking maybe the sum would be incredible, but it was not. It really reminded me of something you might randomly assemble at Subway. So, good subs made from fresh ingredients, but nothing worth raving about. read more

The 2 sandwiches while already over priced were roughly 12$ a piece on the menu, I show up and he claims I owe him 32$ for 2 10" subs....So apparently a 10" sub 17$ by itself at this location even though the website claims otherwise...I told him that was an outrageous price (i was irritated) i attempted to pay him and he then proceeded to kick me out and tell me he didnt want my money....PHUCK this place forever and always....total BS...literally cant believe it...Pizza sucks too by the way steer clear! read more

Have been eating Mancino's my whole life, their BLT is my favorite. After moving to richland a couple years ago it had been a while since I've indulged. First, the woman who answered the phone and took my order was very rude and short. After the first item ordered she blatantly asked "thats it?" Well no but maybe could have said anything else? I also asked for the order to be ready by 5:20 (it was 4:40). The order was ready but cold and upon opening, it was noticeable the food had been ready for some time. It was sloppy, obviously not prepared with any care, SMALL compared to other locations, cold and the bread & bacon were chewy like it had been prepared days ago or from a bag at Walmart. It wasn't like any other Mancino's experience or food I've ever had. I LOVE Mancino's but will NEVER go to this location EVER again. They're lucky for the one star. read more

Mancino's used to be awesome. They have changed. Got a 16" three meat grinder. It was $17 after tax and this is all the toppings that were included. For $17. I wouldn't even call this a decent gas station sandwich. Feel totally ripped off and I will not return. read more

This place needs negative stars. I have NEVER left a review like this. Having worked in the service industry for 15 years, I'm usually quite forgiving. First, after calling to place an order after reviewing the menu online, I was told that they don't have a menu online. They don't know who posted all of that stuff, but it's not theirs. Confused, I asked for suggestions to which I was rudely given non answers. I specifically asked about a certain type (similar to what we originally wanted) and sure enough, they had THAT one! (Specialty sandwich LISTED ON WEBSITE MENU....that's not theirs, remember). Ordered 2 sets of fries as well & hung up. Immediately received a phone call back saying they could only make 1 set of fries. Arrived to pick up our order, total was $53.03 for 3 sandwiches & 1 fry. We asked for an explanation (the kid on the register seemed SHOCKED at the total). The very rude women again began that sandwiches are $15+ dollars each. Proceeded to mumble rude comments under their breath to us. The menu on the counter shows 4" & 8" prices, lists 16" also available.....no price. None of this was mentioned on the phone. Disgusted, but hungry & meeting our daughter who just came off a 12 hour shift, we paid the $53 and left. (Hours before, I had picked up three 9" sandwiches at our local Mancino's at home for our 3 other children for $14.97). We arrived to our destination & settled into eat within 10 minutes of pick up. The TINY order of shoestring frozen fries ($2.99) was AWFUL! Cold, hard & rubbery. I could make fries at home, leave them out over night, throw them away in the morning, dig them BACK out of the trash that evening & they'd likely taste better than these. Our $15+ each sandwiches.....equally bad. Bacon was all undercooked, fatty, chewy chunks from a GFS frozen bag. Turkey was burned (black in places). Lettuce was brown, translucent & slimy. Not only should every person avoid this scamming hole of an establishment, the Department of Health & Safety should go pay a visit...and shut this poor excuse for a good establishment down. read more

I used to live on the east side and ate here much too often. We got grinders here last night, and they were fabulous! Their grinders are hot sandwiches; I don't like cold subs. Go ahead and splurge a $1.50 for extra meat. I had my usual ham and cheese, 16". Got two meals out of it. These sandwiches are not cheap for the 16", a little over $14 each, but they are so well worth the price. Warm up your leftovers wrapped in foil at 300 degrees for 15-20 minutes. So so good. I accidentally went to this Mancino's when I meant to go to the one on Main St. but I gotta say it was definitely worth it! The flavors were definitely present as I got the gourmet meat pizza and a veggie pizza with pepperoni on it. I'm not big on veggies on my pizza but I honestly liked that pizza more than just the meat pizza because the veggies were cooked perfectly and added an explosion of flavor and a little spice from the peppers. Also warning, this is a little on the expensive side, I got two medium pizzas for 30-something dollars. The staff was a little on the awkward side and really didn't seem very helpful, but for the food being so great I would definitely go here again! read more

Love this place, the grinders are amazing the pizza is the bomb but the only thing I have to say is that it is a little pricey but I have to say worth it. It's more of a treat then an every Friday type of thing because it's is somewhat pricey but if your into pizzas and grinders and friendly staff then this is your place to eat. read more

They closed before their scheduled hours with no explanation on one day and the staff just ignored me knocking on the door. When I complained and ordered the next day, I got a b.s. excuse, no real apology, and a f---ed up order, one sandwich was missing one of the meats, and the other was missing tomatoes. The food was good but the prices are high for what you get....5 wing parts for $6.99 is crazy. If it weren't for wanting that childhood taste once again, I would have left before ordering. Called mancinos at 130 pm and asked if I could order a 1/2 order of Nachos. Phil ( Manager ) told me to stop looking at the on line menu in a very rude tone. I drove up to talk to him in person to discuss his rudeness, his behavior was unchanged. In front of 5-6 customers, as I walking out the door he yelled and called me 1/2 Nacho. I have frequented this business and was appalled at this treatment. I live around the corner and will never go back. I will also make sure that people in Kalamazoo are aware of Phil and to avoid this place at all cost. Good luck mancinos, get rid of Phil as he's destroying your business. read more

Pizza and grinders are both good, though the pizza seems a bit overpriced. Staff sometimes seems almost annoyed to be taking my order.

We ordered over the phone at 7pm on a Sunday. When I made the order, I asked for a veggie chef salad (as I had seen on their menu page on Google). I was told that they didn't have a website and that there was no veggie chef salad, so I ordered a small garden salad. We also ordered grinders, mine a Three Meat Classic and my husband's a Taco. Why my husband arrived to pick up the order 20 minutes later (the amount of time we were told it would take), he was told that the order hadn't even been started. 45 minutes and $28 later he collected our sandwiches and salad and headed home. When we opened the order at home, we were further disappointed. His grinder had barely any meat or lettuce and was completely missing tomato and onion. Mine was also missing tomato. The salad we received was also completely incorrect, as we received a taco salad. There are a lot of places to get a good sandwich in Kalamazoo. We won't be back. read more
