Queso with chips
Rick R.

I stopped in for a bite with my gf on a desperation food stop. We were pretty hungry. We sat at the bar and were greeted immediately. My gf ordered the queso with chips. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with mole and asked them to hold the sesame seeds that would top the mole, the sour cream, and the rice. My gf also asked for a side of pico. Our orders came out quickly and correctly. My gf said her queso was ok, but it was more like dipping chips in milk because it was so thin. I was not so lucky with my dish. The beans tasted strange, and not in a good way... a little like beans and pumpkin. Look at the color of my beans. They just looked wrong, almost orange in color. The chicken was fine and mole was just ok. I can't recommend this restaurant after my experience with my dish...very disappointing.

Good place to eat to stop by. The place allowed service dog. Friendly place and good food. Did not disappoint me. Ambiance is so home like family friendly restaurants.

Chicken burrito

Our server was very sweet. The staff in general were quite polite. The service is super fast. My son and I ordered two different versions of the burrito. I ordered the chicken and he ordered the pork. Madison got a kids menu item. (Choices are Taco, hot dog, tenders and cheese burger. Chips and salsa included. Not made fresh there but, that's a tall order for a small town. If you want good Mexican food with really nice people serving you... Check this place out. We all really liked it

Mango margarita with chamoy

We opted to sit at the bar since we stopped for one drink and share and a free. The bartender was friendly. The chips and salsa were delicious while we waited for the food. The mole was delicious! We will be back to try more of their food when we go back!

Amazing food and service! The drinks will get you right! The ambiance of the music and the cantaritos they have here bring back so many memories. Bianca brought us everything we needed and always refilled our drinks when we asked.

Family visit. Service was not the fastest but overall good. Others had Birria tacos. I had a dark Modelo with my queso covered pork burrito. I ate it all! Added: Great guacamole with chips too!

So I was back in Wisconsin and decided to give a second try. I was surprised with the options they have in vegetarian dishes. I decided to try mexican style street tacos and they were extremely delicious. Even the service is improved so I asked if the owner has changed but they were same from last 10 years A definitely try restaurant if you're in the area

Staff was very friendly and fast. Chips tasted a bit stale and queso was average. The rice and green salsa were really good. I got the flautas de chorizo and they were a bit over fried. Overall, the potential is there but I would stick to their sister dessert business called wichoacana.

Great service from Nancy, she took very good care of us. We're locals and come often but brought our family from out of town and they enjoyed it as well.

Over priced and poor quality - look elsewhere. They also did not honor the special they had for Cinco de Mayo online. Next...

Service was super slow- food wasn't even mediocre - margaritas were barely fair and price was over the top for what we got

Lupita is the best waitress she is kind and fun to talk to. She is knowledgeable and tells us the specials for the day.

If you're walking down the main drag in the Dells and want to escape the polished resort traps for…read moresomething with actual character, pull open the door to this place. Just be ready to squeeze in The decor is the first thing you notice. The walls and ceiling are practically plastered with local apparel, and for whatever reason, there's a heavy monkey theme going on with all the gear. It gives the place a great, unpretentious, classic Wisconsin dive bar vibe. The menu keeps it simple: standard, no-nonsense bar food. We're talking burgers, baskets, and fried sides. Service was surprisingly snappy given that it was shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar. If you want a quiet, intimate dinner, this isn't it. But if you want cold drinks, killer curds, and a vibrant crowd, it's easily a solid four-star stop on the strip. I'd definitely grab a beer here again. the burgers claimed that they were world famous but topping your burgers is a little strange, they charge 25 cents for tomatoes and lettuce

Come for the burgers not the booze. The burgers were fabulous, juicy and came out fast and fresh…read more The fries are great, we also got a pretzel app and it was also very good. The drinks however fell short. My hubby got an old fashioned and we'll see the photo of the pink concoction he got that tasted like cinnamon. Maybe it's a regional thing but he's an avid old fashioned drinker and well it was like nothing we've had before. We then ordered monk-aritas to take the place and those tasted like pure sweet and sour. They had a good looking beer list so probably should have went that way. Food was great though- no complaints there.

We came here after finishing mini golf across the street at Pirate's Cove…read more It was a beautiful afternoon on a weekday. It wasn't busy as it was early afternoon. We sat out on the patio which has a nice view of the water. It feels set back away even though it's right off a busy road. I tried the watermelon margarita and my partner had don Julio on the rocks. It comes in a shaker with fresh lime juice. Excellent choice! I'd recommend giving it a try if you like tequila! The watermelon margarita was very sweet, next time I'd go for their original margarita instead. We had the chips and guacamole. Shrimp and veggie quesadilla, which tasted really fresh and good. This was our afternoon snack so we didn't dig much deeper into the menu but I'd say this place is worth a visit if you want a cute patio, and a good drink! Especially if you happen to be across the street at mini golf. The mini golf score book has a coupon on the back of one of the pages for a buy one get one drink!

We ordered a smothered steak burrito and it came out incorrectly made. However the waiter quickly brought it back to have the cooks correct it. Then when it came back out as you notice in the picture, there was no steak in it. I brought it up to the mangers attention and she quickly resolved it by comping both steak burritos and personally ordering me a quesadilla to go. The margarita was solid. And the atmosphere was nice.
