Excellent personal service and right on time. A well deserved 5 Star review this service is second to none. Highly recommended A++. Very personable, tons of excellent advice, you can just tell they care. Thank you so much for moving our new hot tub and for taking the time to explain the basics. Thank you so much!

Guys hard at work moving the hot tub out of the vault

Due to some unfortunate events, we needed our hot tub out of it's cement vault under the ground and we needed it done as soon as possible. I found Tim and his crew through Yelp and thank God! Want great customer service? Look no further. Tim immediately picked up the phone when I called and booked me for an appointment a few days later. He also picked up my other follow up calls unlike other companies where all I reached was their voicemail. In person, Tim is super friendly, professional and positive. Our job ended up being much harder than he anticipated but with some brainstorming, persistence, and patience, they were able to get it out of the vault! He even showed up early because the traffic was good. Now we have to decide what to do with our hot tub but if I ever need it moved again, I will be calling Tim in a heart beat!

Tim is the man! Very professional and extremely helpful, not only with regard to helping me find the right used spa, but to pick-up and move the spa once I found it. Tim and his partner met me out in Carmel Valley to look at a spa, he opened it up, tested all the bells and whistles and told me what the fair buying price would be (much lower than the person was asking for it)... He told me what it would cost to fix up and I used that info to negotiate with the seller... the seller didn't want to make any concessions, so I moved on with my search. Today, we found the right spa, just one year old and in good working condition. Tim gave it the green light and moved it for me from Murrieta to San Marcos... No issues whatsoever, very good communicator. Even gave me a little class on how to take care of the spa once he finished moving it. I highly recommend Tim and San Diego Jacuzzi Transport!

    An effortless hot tub removal.

The move went perfectly. They had a tight squeeze to get it to the back yard, but they moved carefully, and still got it done quickly.

Today it is finally completed and it exceeds our expectations and dreams. Stacey was always helpful in guiding the process to start and get the permit completed. Allen and his other workers, specifically Ryan are honestly so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to do things they didn't even have to do. That alone already set him apart. After speaking with me and learning that I'm selling my deceased Aunts house and simply looking for the most cost-effective option, Brett actually recommended that I purchase a motor myself and even sent me the Amazon link. He knew right away that he probably wouldn't be getting the job. I'm also quite a distance away, and if Brett had done the work, he would have installed a higher-quality motor and done it the right way. But this review isn't about getting the job--it's about integrity and customer service. Brett took the time to help, educate, and point me in the right direction even though he knew there was no business in it for him. That kind of honesty and willingness to help is rare these days. I only wish Murdoch Pool Service was closer to me in Escondido because I would absolutely use them for my own pool service. Thank you, Brett, for taking the time to help and for showing what real customer service looks like!

So, I found Murdoch Pool Service who was charging $180, but had great reviews. After speaking with owner, Brett, who assured me that they provide a better service than the cheap guys I signed up. After a couple of cleanings, I noticed they were only spending about 10 minutes on my pool and not leaving it "sparkling clean". I spoke with Brett about this and, after looking at the photo his guy took, he argued that he didn't see a problem with the service. I thought OK ...maybe I'm being OCD because I'm used to cleaning my own pool and spending way more than 10 min on it. Then we had strong Santa Ana winds hit and it left quite a mess of leaves, debris, and dirt in my pool. I was looking forward to Murdock coming to the rescue to clean it all up. They spent a little more time than the average 10 minutes and left my pool looking like it still needed to be cleaned. The photos were taken immediately after they left and you can clearly see that they failed to brush the sides, clean out the strainers baskets completely, etc. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten this level of service from the cheap guys. I was expecting to have them help me out for at least 3 months, until I could heal and get back to cleaning the pool myself, but after 2 months I couldn't continue paying a premium price for a sub-standard service. I found myself hopping around the pool on one leg trying to clean up after they left. I would highly suggest you find someone else to clean your pool.

Unfortunately I received more of the bear minimum service. Plus the customer service you receive will be subpar! They have huge communication issues within the company as well as with their clients. We signed up with them in February 2024 when they were Cabana Pools and explained the time frame we needed. They were able to accommodate us and we became customers. Kyle was very helpful. However, sometimes they would come late or not at all and wouldn't notify us while Cabana Pools, once they became Pool Logic they never contacted us and when I contacted about service I was greeted with rude responses. Another issue we had was they would sometimes leave our gate open or unlocked if closed. Our most recent issue was the inconsistency with service and when I called to ask where our technician was I was greeted with someone else is covering and when I asked about an ETA, I was given there is no ETA. When I responded with ok however I am unhappy. It was escalated and I was given an ETA. The manager then contacted me and I missed the call. when I tried to call right back it said this number isn't receiving calls at this time . I tried calling again and a woman answered laughing. She then continued to giggle while I was responding. Very irritating and unprofessional. I spoke with the manager and he was very nice. He had explained that there was some confusion with the notes on the account, yet lack of communication within the company, and someone put notes on our account that were inaccurate. The manager was apologetic but did try to make excuses which upset me more. I did let him know we would likely be canceling service soon, and he understood. Unfortunately I hadn't canceled before they charged us, which is the 1st of the month, even if the 1st is a Sunday, which was 5 days before our next service. I immediately contacted them ask about canceling service and if I was able to receive a refund. I received confirmation the next day that they were canceling our service and a request to billing for a refund to be issued was sent. 24 hours later someone from billing, by the name Averie, said they would be sending me a check, not refunding my account. I immediately responded and explained that this wasn't ok as we have issues receiving our mail and they took the payment directly out of our account. She responded 23 hours later explaining that Quikbooks doesn't allow refunds to bank accounts. I then immediately called the office and asked for the Averie, I was told she wasn't in the office. When I asked for a manager I was asked why and I explained she just messaged me 2 minutes ago so she is in the office. I was then put on hold and she became available. Averie got on the call and proceeded to give information that was contradictory and when I asked for it to be escalated I was told that no one was there as the owner was the only escalation and he is currently out on Paternity leave and no one is taking over of him currently, so she would forward the info to him but could not guarantee any follow up soon. Very unprofessional!! I really liked the company when it was Cabana Pools. Not sure if the company expanded or merged, but since becoming Pool Logic it is the worst!

I signed the contract with their company the second week of November. Right out of the gate I asked…read moreKyle about debris accumulating in my spa and in the pool. Their technician came and serviced my pool, cleaned out the spa and within days, the spa was full again with debris. I called and I emailed Kyle asking if he could look into it. I got no response and his technician came the following week for the regularly scheduled cleaning and cleaned the spa with the same result, debris filled back up almost immediately. Kyle (or service manager) finally texted me back and scheduled the cleaning of my pool filter. Someone from their company cleaned the filter and left residue all over the concrete and a small portion of my backyard grass. They clearly used my outdoor hose to clean the filter and just as easily could have hosed the concrete off after they were done. Even more frustrating is when they left, I was not offered additional service to vacuum the spa out to ensure that in fact was the issue. The contract you will sign with states there is an additional $15 fee to have excess debris removed if needed prior to cleaning. I would have gladly paid extra to have the spa cleaned. I emailed them about all of this and included pictures. I still got no response from Kyle or someone their company. Moving forward, the following week was thanksgiving and the service got skipped until the next week. I did not want to wait two whole weeks for my spa and pool to be cleaned out. I have numerous other services that are delayed because of holidays (EDCO, Sparkletts Water, landscaping, etc) and all my services are delayed one day, not an entire week. PoolLogic started my service well into the month and I only got two cleanings in the entire month November. If the service was prorated to reflect the start date or reflect any given holiday, I would have been more flexible with their lack of communication. But when I still had to clean and vacuum out my own pool and spa on two different occasions, Its not worth the money or the frustration. I canceled my contract via email on Nov 30th and almost immediately Kyle reached out to ask why. After sending him the above stated response, he apologized for the lack of communication and offered a free month of service and free part replacement from my filter. I accepted the offer and told him I'm an easy person to get ahold of and a little communication, goes a long way. Not surprised, my pool never got serviced Dec 1st Or Dec 8th. So I emailed him back and just told him to cancel my contract. I'm sure they are nice people, just bad communicators.
