We dropped in after dinner to have some coffee and dessert. We ordered an iced Americano, cappuccino, and an Americano. Several croissants to chose from and staff recommended the almond. We also ordered 6 churros with the Nutella dip. Coffees were prefect. The almond croissant was amazing. Slight crispy outer and soft in the middle; plus, there was a very light almond cream (or something in the center) which made the croissant even more delicious. The churros were coated with sugar and cinnamon, had the perfect out crunch and just enough soft center. The food looked amazing.... But,after almost 25 minutes of waiting, we never received our order (bacon egg cheese croissant and sausage egg cheese croissant). There were several people requesting refunds for their wasted time. At least 7 orders were 20+ minutes past due (you could see the numbers flashing in red on their kitchen screen). We received a refund for only our food, not the one coffee we actually did receive. Tables are hard to come by during the "rush" with many people trying to reserve a spot while someone else orders. It's all about the club sandwich. Love this bakery the Nutella croissant is out of this world very yummy. They have many varieties of party and pizza as well. I also love the sandwiches here it's made fresh daily and they are really good. Easy to run in and get what you want and take to the beach. From the window it appeared to be a beautiful place with lovely choices for a quick breakfast on the go. I just wanted something fresh and fruity so my spouse and I split the açaí bowl. I was super disappointed that I paid $16 ($20 with fees) for a small plastic cup of overly sweet fruit. There was a tiny amount of blended açaí on the bottom and a couple sliced strawberries and blueberries on top. Loaded with honey and sugar it was too sweet to eat the entire thing. Could not finish it because it made you cringe. If you are expecting a bowl of açaí and other fruit with granola - do not get the açaí bowl. Major rip off! This is a fruit cup with honey. read more

Churros are one of the best I tried in the Miami area. Chocolate(drink) is a little thick for my taste but it wasn't bad. What I asbsolutely did not like was the 18 % service being added without my knowledge. I am a cash tpper. I did not see this until I got home. The law says it must be shown on the menu or near the cashier and must be readable. In this case, it was hidden among charges in the final bill. If bringing 2 cups and 1 plate to a table is worth 6 dls, I think it is a little too much. And I don't care if we are in Miami Beach or wherever. I demand to know what I pay and it must be according to the law. Also, take care of the flies buzzing around the tables. I will not be returning here. read more

We did have lunch there and the food was all very good and prepared fresh. Customer service was always welcoming with a smile. Highly recommend going. Having said that the ones here are not bad, the hot chocolate for dipping the churros are perfect (tasted the same as the one in Madrid) but what I liked the most was the service, very nice staff.
