Jazmin in the office was really helpful in coordinating the asbestos removal on the ducts, which was a separate job, and also the post-installation inspections. We wanted to add an additional vent on the main floor, and some dampers for a few of the vents and everything went like butter. Lex and Maxat were the nicest people, arrived on time, left at 6pm each day leaving the house clean. It was a 3 day install and they finished on the third day. Beyond what they needed to do, Lex walked through things that would be checked by the inspectors even on work they didn't do (GFCI plugs close to where the old unit was), and walked me through why they did some of the things they did because I was curious. We're 3 days in so far, but the installation experience was great, and the daikin system is cooling the house great (and I can already see from the energy monitoring systems we have, it's so much more efficient!).

They offered partial refund and service to show that they want to fix the wrong and prove that they are a great service company. ------ Original review: I had a very negative experience with air shark technician. My issue was needing the capacitor replaced. The fix was quick and I was clearly over charged. When I asked about this, the technician just said it's just business. He exaggerated the price of the part needed which is a capacitor saying it's like $200-$300. It's at most $50. It took him like 10 minutes to replace the part and said you either accept the charge and pay or I just take it out. It felt very predatory, like I already fixed it you might as well pay. He proceeds to measure temps and other various things just to pass time while he waits for me to decide if I want to pay or have him unfix it. I can accept being over charged but something about how this situation transpired left a bad taste for me. For example, why wouldn't you say you need to replace this and it cost this much for the fix instead of fixing it first then say pay or I take it off.

My issue was I needed a new compressor which the other two bozo clowns couldn't figure out.
