    Great windshield
    Nancy S.

My cousin recommended this place to me, and instead of going to Safelite, I decided to come here. When I initially called, I was quoted one price, but that quote didn't include all of my sensors. I ended up upgrading, which cost $280 more than the original price. Even with the upgrade, it still beat Safelite's price for my vehicle and saved me money overall. That was my experience, but your situation might be different. You might want to bring extra money. Oh yea the atm wasn't working that day. So, I had to drive with one of the workers to the bank. Windshield looks great and came with a 6 month warranty.

Second visit for my window replacement, after which it no longer rolls down or up

Worst experience trying to get my window replaced. First, they charged $40 above quoted price on the phone supposedly bc they mixed up the car make/model. What auto shop mixes that up?? Afterwards I noticed the window was not 100% aligned but I could live with it. However turns out the whole job was faulty as my window fell down within a week! When I brought it back to fix they were nice enough but no apologies and, after waiting the requisite 48 hrs "for the glue to set," this time the window didn't roll up or down at all! I gave up and decided to go elsewhere instead of risking having to come back to this place 4 times. Went here because they were one of the only places open on a Sunday late afternoon even though I had gotten better quotes from places with better reviews, but would have to wait til Monday. I should have just waited because this was a waste of time and money.

I recommend avoiding this place if you value your hard earned money. I got my windshield replaced and on the first hard rain, the inside of my car is gushing rainwater from around the windshield. They're cash only, by the way, despite having misleading visa and mastercard stickers up on the office window, so I have no evidence on the banking end that I went there, and I can't find the tiny piece of paper that they gave me as a receipt. Okay, my bad, for real, I can admit wrongdoing on that but seriously, who knows where all their paper receipts are. I called on a Friday and asked the owner what could be done, he said if you don't have a receipt, can you show me your credit car statement (uh, you should know that your own business is cash only). Then he says, if you can tell me the date you came in, I can help you. I find the date and he tells me he has no record of it - I'm guessing he was hoping I wouldn't be able to find it. He tells me to come in the next day, Saturday, and says he'll take a look. His exact words, "If I did it, I'll fix it." I go in to find the owner only works Monday through Friday. So he essentially tried to offload me onto his employees on a day he knew he wouldn't be there. The manager told me to wait in a corner. I waited for about half an hour thinking I'm waiting for someone to at least take a look. Nope, the manager onsite has called the owner, he's not calling back, and that's just that, I guess. Rude and unprofessional was pretty much my expectation at this point. Oh, and when they changed out my windshield they totally butchered my car, didn't tell me they were cutting it up, I just came out to find it like that (see pictures). Was willing to let it go, figured in for a penny at that point, but should have said something.

Scratch in my front hood after the installation

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE Had a cracked windshield, so ordered new glass. An inexperienced guy came with the glass (alone) to my apartment, spend 2 hours to install it. He left glass bits inside the car, not even vacuumed, I had to vacuum it myself, and also left scratch on my front hood. He had to come back to install the rain sensor the next day, and denied that it was his fault. I had to call the shop, and a guy name Alberto picks up, he said he will fix the hood and no discount on the pricing. So I asked for a full interior and exterior detailing of the car which he agreed to. So a guy comes back after 2 weeks to pick up the car and fix the hood, and claimed that the car was clean. IT WAS NOT CLEANED. inside leather had stains, and mat was not even vacuumed. I called back Alberto, and he agreed that he will pick up the car again and clean it. 2 weeks later, he takes my car back and brings back the car STILL UNCLEANED (I intentionally left the leather stain to check if it's been cleaned, but it was still there), and now there is another scratch near the trunk. I called Alberto, and now he refuses to fix it and does not claim that he damaged the car. I had to live without my car for a few days, for this place using inexperienced guys to install windshield, and now my car is left with damages, and no more out of factory paint. I'm hugely disappointed, and hoping that someone will take this review useful and avoid their car getting wrecked.

Glass I found as I was cleaning!

If you have a prior negative experience, please do the community a favor and report it to the Bureau of Automotive Repair: https://www.dca.ca.gov/webapps/bar/complaints.php Also report to the Better Business Bureau: https://www.bbb.org/consumer-complaints/file-a-complaint/get-started Went in to get windshield replaced at end of March, and my oh my!!! BIGGEST MISTAKE!! PLEASE AVOID THIS BUSINESS!! First, they dont know what theyre doing. Instead of moving my old cracked windshield in one piece using suction tool, they broke it into a million pieces that ended up inside my car. Hot mess! (Installer: Mike) Second, they didn't vacuum the glass, so there was glass all over my vehicle, which I accidentally cut myself with. Third, these people didn't take responsibility for their mistakes. Got windshield changed on a Thursday evening, business was closed by the time I cut myself, so called them Friday morning to report. When I told them about my cut, they (referring to Alberto) sarcastically suggested that I go to the emergency department, WITHOUT taking responsibility for the mistake. Did they not think that I have the intelligence to go to the emergency room if I think it necessary? What if I had kids in the car with me at the time, or an uncontrollable bleeding disorder? They did NOT CARE!!! Fourth, no responsibility. The "managers" (Alberto and Miguel) kept transferring me between the two of them, BOTH of them identifying Alberto as the owner at some point (Alberto would later deny his involvement in the lie). It was only through my persistence that I learned that Alberto was not the owner. At some point, Miguel had promised to call me back with a resolution, but did not because I had already spoken to the owner (Alberto), he decided not to call me back because "there is nothing else to say". Mind you, I gave the "managers" several opportunities to escalate this to the proper supervisor or even to the owner, even telling them that I would consult an attorney, to which Alberto replied "you do what you have to do lady". If they had at any point acknowledged their mistake, taken responsibility, apologized, or been professional about the matter, I would have been more than happy to accept their apology. Due to their behavior and lack of professionalism, I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR). BAR informed me that in fact, windshield was not installed properly (sharp edges visible on the corners and sitting too low). Through my persistence in the matter, I was eventually transferred to Edwin, who I was informed is the general manager. He said I would get a partial refund, and that he would have his guys fix it. I was okay with this, but when I went in to try to get it fixed, I was all the more dumbfounded. Alberto spoke negatively about another manager on site to one of his employees in my presence, but whats best is that when I went in for the repair, they confused me with another "girl" who had issues with her vehicle too. Alberto introduced me to his employee as "the girl who has air/water leakage". I had to clarify that I was the customer with the cut. Can you tell these guys dont know what they're doing? Mistakes on top of mistakes on top of mistakes!!! Once clarified, I informed Alberto of the concerns confirmed by the BAR. Alberto said the state agency (BAR) "didnt know what they were talking about". I trust the BAR more than this unprofessional business. Alberto wanted to only sand down the sharp edges, but not willing to listen to my concerns to try to fix it (sitting too low). Alberto rolled his eyes at me on several occasions, and essentially said he didnt want to deal with me because I am "delicada" (translates to delicate in English). No, I just know how to advocate for myself!!!! Was supposed to get my refund from Edwin when I went in for the repair (that was pre-scheduled), but Edwin surprisingly wasn't available. Alberto suggested I wait for Edwin to return from his trip to the bank, but since I had to return to work, I thought I would call Edwin via telephone at a later time. When I called, I was told that Edwin was gone for the day. What if I had waited? No communication between employees. Proceeding with small claims at this point.
