It was about time for us to try Wilders since we live a few blocks away. We went for lunch to try the pizza and wings. Our server Hailey was very attentive and polite. The wings were fresh from the fryer, nice size, and done just right. We ordered 6 each of the mild, and the garlic parm. The latter was really good. The mild was good but without the traditional buffalo smell and flavor. The pizza came out with a generous topping of pepperoni., sauce, and cheese. It was a thin, tender crust. Not the crispy type. Coming from someone who has never left a 1 star review. Absolute worst place I have ever been to. They got my order COMPLETELY wrong then REFUSED to refund it to the point where we had to get the Sheriff involved. Jessica was EXTREMELY rude. I have worked in many restaurants and would NEVER treat a customer like that. She said she called the owner and he said he would not do anything for us. Asked if I could contact the owner myself and she said she would give me none of his information. Very disappointed. Will never come here again and definitely do not recommend it to anyone EVER. We found Wilder's when we went to the Village of the Arts to see some live music but the venue didn't open until 5 and we were hungry. Wilder's is just a 2 block walk from the Village so we decided to check it out. The Caprese salad was pretty good, they could have used tomatoes that were a little bit more ripe but still had good flavor. The pizza was very good. It seemed to me that they use fresh sausage that is chopped into small chunks. I was very happy that they offer one of my favorite beers (Cigar City Jai Alai IPA). The owner came over to check and see if everything was up to our satisfaction. He was very friendly and chatted with us for several minutes. We will definitely be back. read more

I don't live nearby but am watching my grandson so I ordered DoorDash because he wanted pasta with red sauce. I'm not sure if their spaghetti is always $12.00 but it was a great price compared to every other place. Got that and a slice of pizza with a salad. The portions were very generous. But, the sauce and garlic knots or buns whatever they call them were some of the best we've had in a long time. That sauce is something special. If you're wondering and haven't tried go for it. I'm coming back from Orlando on vacation. The experience was horrible. Rocco's pizza says "Prochiuto" and "Arrúgula ." They brought us a pizza with ugly-looking ham and spinach. We also ordered garlic wings, and they brought us chicken bones, which we had to return because they were raw. Terrible experience. I won't be back! :( read more

Order through website. Waited till it was 40 min late. Called them. First they said waiting for grub hub to pick it up. I did not order through grub hub. I ordered through wilders website. Then they tell me I ordered a cheese when I ordered a veggie. They said there's nothing they can do to fix the order and if I wanted a veggie at this point it would cost extra. I don't even have a grub job app or any other kind food delivery app. Would not let me cancel order which I paid with PayPal said grub hub driver is a few minutes away. However I'm not getting g the order I order getting a cheese that's been sitting around for 40 plus minutes. It's been 20 min now and still nothing the store says it's a 4 min walk on yelp. Erin, in reference to your reply, I did no cussing. My concern was very detailed and I wanted an explanation for spending over 15-18.00 for a cold Italian sub. I made specific requests about the sub referring to it being hot and was never corrected one time! It was terrible in my opinion, and wanted some background as I felt bamboozled over the entire thing! I see no where an Italian sub on your menu so when I inquired, I was told yes we have one. Never to be told it was served cold! I would have never spent my money on a cold sub to be delivered! My mom and I found Wilder's Pizza in an online search and saw an extensive menu, that they were only 15 minutes away, and that they were open until 930 that evening which we appreciated. We enjoyed a superb meal and tried both their pizza ( with shaved meatballs ) and their calzones; I had an Italian and my mom a vegetarian. They were huge and super tasty with fresh marinara sauce for dipping. The staff were all super friendly and excited regarding their fairly new environment that was very clean, and set up well. The owner, Justin, told us some of the restaurant's history and current growth, with plenty of understood pride. There was also plenty of seating and 2 tv screens for viewing, plus beers on tap. I have a strong feeling that Wilders will be frequented plenty by my mom and her friends. I live in California, so I'll only be able to go in when visiting... And I will!! read more

The owner suggested the white pizza with fresh garlic and pepperoni for my toppings so that's what I went with. The garlic was so fresh, it was bursting with flavor in my mouth. It had the perfect amount of ricotta. The slices were so big that I could have just stuck with one and been content. The knots were delicious, fluffy and flavorful. Visited on a Friday night. Only two tables were occupied. Waited at the front of the restaurant and then after quite some time, was told to take any seat. The available tables were either not cleared or dirty. Picked one that just needed a good wipe. Sat for a while and finally had to wave someone down to wipe the table. No waitress. Waited. No waitress. Someone finally appeared (the same person that originally wiped down the table.) Ordered a beer. Sorry, can't serve that, I'll send someone over that is of age. Waited and waited and waited. At this point, should have just left, but had heard that their pizza was good (turned out that that was not accurate) so we were patient. Finally she comes over takes drink order as well as food order. Pizza and a Gyro salad. No silverware. Food comes. No silverware. Drinks come. No glass. Pizza was obviously left under the warmer far too long. Dry and tasteless. Gyro salad was some Romaine that was probably left over from lunch (limp and dry), a few sprinklers of Feta and some beyond dried out shaved Gyro meat. I do have to say the dressing was good and I am sure glad it was because we would not have been able to swallow the dried out salad. No napkins. Knew better than to ask, got up and got them myself. No one asked if we had everything we needed, needed another beverage, or how anything was or if we needed anything else. Another table came in and "Ryan" came out from behind the counter and told them about specials, took drink orders and brought silverware. The table behind us apparently had the same experience as they were pretty vocal about their experience. Trying to get the bill was a whole other story. Could go on, but you get the idea. Well this was our 2nd time ordering. First time we picked it up it was a slow time so everything was on point. This time we didn't get our drinks. Both sandwiches were messed up. One had none of the toppings we paid extra for on it then the other had toppings we didn't even ask for and were told not to put on it. No condiments we paid extra for. We were wanting to give the place a try last night. We love spaghetti and Stromboli. We went in & waited for the waitress to stop answering the phone taking orders. I had talked to the shef about a small order of spaghetti to try with the Stromboli and my wife wanted a sandwich. She came with the sall spaghetti and the waitress said I'm going to have to charge you for a full order. She even called the owner. Then the Sheff took the spaghetti to the back room and had said he was going to put it a small bowl. The waitress kept looking away like she was bothered with something. She was so rude we got up and left. She should not treat the chef With such disrespect and customer's should not be put through what she was working on putting us through. Once your food goes to the back after bringing it to the table you never know what might happen after that. This waitress didn't want to wait on us because she liked setting in the chair answering the phone. We should have known when we went in something was wrong because know one was in the place. I have been eating Pizza for 40 years. I always look for New York style pizza. Extremely Dissapointed with Wilders. First, they use limied pizza sauce and limited cheese. The cheese doesnt strentch when you eat it which means they are cutting corners. MOST IMPORTANT is that I spend $22 on a medium two topping pizza, all Pepperoni, and half Jalapene and half Mushrooms. 100% of Pizza place over 40 years ONLY charge you for two toppings, these guys atcualy charged me for 3 toppings even though it was only 2. This tells you everythijng you need to know about Integrity and Jickel and diming. Its a big Principle issue with me. I will NEVER eat at a place that steals money from you like this?
