Got the chong Qing noodles which were really nice and spicy. It was also at a decent price of $10 which is great for midtown. They put chickpeas instead of peanuts - I think I would prefer peanuts better. Next time I will BYO peanuts.

I've had a much better experience here lately, so re reviewing. Fresh hot, flavorful food with very friendly counter people now! What a relief,

I ordered Pork Soup Dumplings and apparently should've specifically checked before walking away. What I got was neither pork, nor soup dumplings. Not particularly complicated, but extremely disappointing. I don't eat fish or seafood, but thankfully I'm not allergic, otherwise it would have been quite the eventful evening. I know one place I definitely will not be revisiting. I'd advise everyone else to carefully examine what they're given before running off for a train. Complete waste of money and massive disappointment.

    San Wei and scallion noodles

San Wei had the longest line at the food stalls in Grand Central when we were trying to grab dinner before a broadway show. Noodles were fresh and flavorful, but had a bit of an acquired taste. We got the Shanghai Scallion Oil noodle and San Wei mixed noodle. The San Wei noodle had a lot more food, but the meat was a bit fatty.

Swung by this newish stall in the GCT food court and was pleasantly surprised! They have a good selection of both food and drinks and pretty quick service. I enjoyed the flavours of both noodle dishes we tried - I'd come back again to try more! Great addition to the food court / area.

Scallion Oil Noodles and Pork & Shrimp Wontons

I think they're a pop-up (?) in the Grand Central dining concourse but nonetheless glad I came across it! They had a lot of different options for wontons and noodles + other dishes as well but I've always wanted to try scallion oil noodles, so I got that and my mom got the pork & shrimp wontons. Fell in love with the scallion oil noodles as it was slightly sweet but super savory with a hint of mala, and they were generous with the bokchoy which was a pleasant surprise. I'm also obsessed with cilantro so this definitely satisfied that craving. The noodles themselves were on the chewier side (which I liked) and the sauce itself was rich and aromatic, without being too dry or greasy. The pork & shrimp wontons came in a broth that was clean but still flavorful, not overly salty. They definitely use spices but the soup itself + the noodles earlier I wouldn't say are necessarily spicy (as someone who usually orders medium spice). There was only one person working in the kitchen but the food still came out in about 15 minutes so I'd say service was great! We ate at some high tables in the area near the other stores which may or may not have seats (we just stood lol). They also have a variety of drinks which I'll have to check out next time!!

I came by this place while browsing the Grand Central Terminal food court. I wanted soup since the weather was so cold and dreary. The portion size was great. It had great taste too. I recommend their noodles soup.

San Wei popped up at the Grand Central dining concourse and was excited to give it a try--it's super convenient location! I ordered the pork and shrimp wontons in spicy sesame sauce. I wasn't expecting a soup/broth base. It was very mild, not spicy at all and I didn't really get any sesame flavor, which was a bit of a letdown. The wontons themselves were solid, just wished it was more spicy.. I also tried the Shanghai style noodles with chicken leg. The noodles were great! I love the chili oil it came with. Also, very mild... The chicken leg was unfortunately... bland. :( Overall, not bad at all. I'd go back to try other noodle options and definitely want to check out the pastrami sandwich next time.

I don't know why the google reviews are much lower for this spot, but I loved my egg and tomato noodles here. The sauce was so flavorful and the noodles were the perfect amount of cooked. It really hit the spot for a quick lunch meal. I was able to order on the kiosk and get my lunch in under 10 minutes!

Food does not match menu. I've eaten here a few times and today I don't know what they served me but the food was disappointing and disgusting. This is not what I'm usually served here. Soggy rice, not chicken teriyaki, and frozen overcooked broccoli. They should've paused items on their menu if it wasn't available.

They offer lots of refreshing drinks. I was excited to see this as a new option, downstairs at Grand Central. I have yet to try it, but it looks promising.

FOOD TRASH SERVICE TRASH..... To sum it up Shit in a bowl . Save your money. I asked to order with someone instead of using the touch screen dude was rude said no I'm busy.

Dumplings, chongqing noodles, San Wei noodles, bento box with 2 entrees. And a sparking drink.

We ordered Xiao Long Bao, but it turned out to be regular bao instead. The dumpling soup was decent, but overall nothing really stood out.

Not enough staff and food is mediocre. Cuisine was needed in the area but not worth the frustration.

No real interaction with the staff but they are efficient. Place is clean with some space for seating. This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
