Carne Asada burrito with side of guacamole
John C.

I visited for my first time today. I ordered the Asada Burrito and a small container of guacamole. Both were good and filling. The one thing I didn't care for was the chips. It seems like they are overly fried, or maybe refried. They just seem a little off compared to other fresh tortilla chips.

Great Mexican food. What are my favorites is the breakfast croissant with bacon and eggs and ham. The meat market is pretty good to

Is the food the same as the Sanchez on Centinela? I hope not but I would appreciate if someone could save me time and money if it is.

This nicely sized store has everything you might want in the way of meat and fish. They have great fish. We have had their Elk, Bison and Venison all made up as burgers with these great rolls we got right there. It is all great. We are now regular customers. The service is excellent. They know about everything they carry and go out of their way to explain things. The place is just so bright and pretty. It is so very clean and it is easy to find what you want. They have some of the best steaks we have ever had, the marbling being perfect. We also love their lobster. And all of this is at a fair price. Go there.

The place is spotless inside and well stocked, and the location is right at Washington and Lincoln on the corner with plenty of parking. I was the only person in the place and they have plenty of friendly help. As a first time customer, I purchased the gourmet Salsa ($5.48), Surimi Sticks ($3.98), two Rib Eye Steaks ($23.21) and the Beef Hot Dogs at $5.00 per package. I have not used the items yet, but everything looks great from a presentation standpoint and I get the feeling it will be fine. Very clean and well presented, the pricing is better than COSTCO or WHOLE FOODS. Located at 2570 Lincoln, the number is 1-833-300-9453 and there are no refunds or exchanges. I will be back. RECOMMEND!

I would take the very first exit I saw and enjoy a nice meal. As fate would have it, that random exit led me to Café Brasil, a place that had been on my list for quite some time. After parking in what looked like a motel parking lot, I found the entrance to the restaurant. The decor was phenomenal, the vibes were beautiful, and from the moment I walked in, I felt at home. While asking a few questions and trying to decide what to order, I met Miss Fatima herself the legendary owner who has made Café Brasil a staple in Los Angeles for the last three decades. I ordered the feijoada and the pão de queijo. Fatima herself tried teaching me how to pronounce them, and somehow our conversation drifted to flight schools in the U.S. and Canada. I loved every bite of the food, but even more than that, I appreciated meeting someone who has dedicated herself to her craft and been consistent year after year.

Make sure to visit their sauce station and get some of the house hot sauce, it was great and really complimented our meal! We got the Chicken Stroganoff, Feijoada, and Lamb Chops. Everything was delicious and we shared it all between four people. I enjoyed the Chicken Stroganoff to most, the flavors were perfect! The Feijoada was also great and definitely reminiscent of the last time I've had this dish. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here. This is a spot to get a couple of dishes to share. If you're looking for Brazilian food on the westside of LA, give Cafe Brasil a try.

My…read moredad hadn't been here so it was a perfect time to give the ribs, brisket and tri-tip a try again. We got the 4 bbq deal that comes with 2 sides. Get the coupon online for $10 off! Ribs were the tastiest. Not overdone and slathered with their signature BBQ sauce. While I'm a dry rub person, the sauce was sugary but ok. The brisket was second and then the tri-tip was alright. Overall the beans and slaw sides and the garlic rolls were probably better than the tri-tip and the portions were so tiny for what you pay. So it is these days.... Though I do recall it feeling the same back on the day when I first tried out HC when they opened. They have a variety of brews on tap and happy hour not for the bbq but the sandwiches if you wanna not break the bank. Lots of salads and sandwich options if you wanted to not focus so much on the BBQ. Dining inside is ok. For a Friday night there weren't many people helping out in the front of house. Staff were friendly and it's got a chill vibe; they've got 2 TVs if you wanted to catch a game. Parking is the free valet kind since the shopping center is packed with eateries with little parking. From someone who's had BBQ from other parts of the country... not sure HC is a must have. But it's not a bad option on the west side that doesn't have much BBQ to write home about.
