Came here after an Instagram advertising raid. This is literally the worst Mexican food I ever had. It's not even in fact, Mexican food. I'm not sure what you call it if you think that Taco Bell is Mexican food perhaps you will like this place. Who the hell serves a carne asada taco with sour cream? And why is the taco sweet? The salsa was actually not too bad , the "tacos" though were so bad my wife, who never complains, didn't even finish her second taco on top of all that injury. Here again for the Sawed Off Breakfast Burrito with sausage. Always friendly staff taking your order. They added a full bar which takes up a lot of room, but will be fun to order and sit outside. The Wife and I will have to try it some time. Adds to the funky vibe that is always here. Sawed Off burrito with sausage does not disappoint. Eggs, sausage,potatoes and cheese. All wrapped in a tortilla that is nicely grilled. That last point is my requirement for a top notch breakfast burrito. The tortilla must be grilled. This version of the SOBB was a bit greasy and I have not experienced that before. Little wipe of a napkin and we were fine. As always, this is a significant size burrito and gives me two breakfasts! Who needs love when you have 5150 sauce??? That stuff is addictive. Sancho's was an amazing spot for me in SC. A beautiful patio that is always jumping with a crazy eclectic interior. It's biker meets alice in wonderland, idk lol. In any case, THEIR TORTILLAS ARE TRANSLUCENT, a must for any good burrito. The new and improved Sancho's is here! Full bar, new tables, Same happening beach vibes. I gave a 4 star because I don't like that it seems most items on menu went up about $1 since the remodel. I would have been ok with my $2.50 taco Tuesday deal but now it's $3.50. Still a great veggie taco like absolutely loaded and delicious but I would prefer it be sautéed with less oil on it though. 2nd time ordered on website and they got the order wrong both times. Come on guys! This time, I ordered 3 Caliguey burritos. Two were wrong and 3rd one was just a tri tip burrito with guacamole. No rice, no beans no extra tri tip no sour cream. I ordered from wedsite with proof of orders. Can these people even read? I'm pissed. It was a pick up order and I even left a 10% tip on "take out." Exited the freeway to find something quick to eat and decided to give this taco spot a try. So glad we did! We ordered the OG (beef tritip) the Yardbird (chicken breast) and the grilled fish taco. Everything was delicious. Their Chubbie sauce is slightly sweet which offers a different flavor and makes it taste that much more interesting. Prices for the ala carts tacos range from $6-9. If you want some really good tacos I highly recommend Santo's tacos! I have only had the tacos so far but the burritos look really good. It's a casual restaurant where you order at the register and then they bring you your food. They do have beer and margaritas as shown by the fabulous monkey! (Photo) the interiors are spectacular. My boyfriend raves about Sancho's Tacos. We ended up going there for a breakfast burrito one of our mornings. We just got a Sawed Off Burrito which consisted of eggs, potatoes, cheese, & bacon. I was hoping I would be able to pick out the bacon for this but it was pretty spread throughout the burrito so I ended up just eating it with the bacon. It had really good flavor. The tortilla was really soft as well. We ordered 2 salsas on the side. We tried the green salsa & the Chubbie salsa. The Chubbie salsa was a sweet salsa, it was cool to try for sure but I don't think I could have a lot of this. I liked the green sauce! This would definitely be my go to salsa between these two salsas. Service was quick. This place is decorated very uniquely. It was a really cool place to go to & check out. There was graffiti all over the walls but chandeliers hanging from the ceilings. Really cool vibes. read more

I've been here a few times now, and the service is way better.  The people who work there are super nice and helpful.  This place slowly got packed when I was here. Thankfully, I was just waiting for my order.        I love the decorations here,  so much to look at and occupy you while you wait.   If you choose to eat outside, you are surrounded by beautiful views.       This time, I tried the nachos and my usual sawed-off breakfast burrito.      I really wanted to try the tacos, but I saw the chips were made to order.  I was sold right away.      Tri tip nachos with no beans and cilantro is where it's at.   The tri tip is so tender, and chips are so crunchy and addictive.  What more do you need?  This is a meal on its own.     We also had the bacon sawed-off breakfast burrito,  such cheesy, amazing goodness.         I highly recommend a nap after eating here. read more

We just had dinner tonight and can't wait to come back. It was delicious. Warm chips with delicious Salsa (sweet & spicy and Roja Mild) and amazing guacamole. The sweet and spicy definitely packed a punch. The bean and cheese burrito was fantastic. Perfectly melted cheese and beans inside a grilled tortilla. Both tacos were delicious. The OG taco was probably one of the best tacos I've ever had. The shrimp taco was suggested by the cashier and was great. Has some really nice heat. Location was great, with enough parking! Sanchos has been an absolute staple of mine for beer battered fish tacos for years! The quality of the fish in the pounders carnal taco and all the extras they add in it is simply unmatched and I haven't found a place that does it better, believe me I actually go looking. Their chips and guacamole are also another staple, fresh hot chips and guacamole is seasoned great. I always get a side of chubby sauce too, adds for a sweet kick. The beach weather right outside the patio is great, food is great, I highly recommend it! Parking is available adjacent to the restaurant. 2016 OC Weekly Best of Winner - BEST BREAKFAST BURRITO What I ordered: BREAKFAST BURRITO with SAUSAGE (Fresh Eggs, Skillet Potatoes, Cheddar Jack, Wrapped in a Grilled Flour Tortilla) - AMAZING presentation with perfectly melted cheese and proportion. Since eggflation, I've been worried about the inflated price of Breakfast Burritos. However, I know the staple of eggs is a must in breakfast dining. This BB was GOOD with oozy cheese, soft potatoes, and delicate eggs. I selected three different Hot Sauce, and here is my ranking: #1 5150, #2 CHUBBIE, and #3 SPICY. The best comparison to 5150 is like trying mango-habanero with sweetness and spice. Chubbie is their MOST POPULAR sauce, and I tasted sweet prune with little to no heat. Came down for a softball tournament ordered tacos, burrito, nacho fries. Cali burrito was average, the steak meat is too sweet paired with a non traditional green sauce and yellow cheese. Wasnt authentic mexican food for sure but then my daughter found a bug crawling in her next bite of taco. Staff apologized and went to remake only for my husband to find hair in his fries also. YUM! Visited San Clemente and felt the need to have fish tacos, because it just fits the vibe, ya feel? These tacos were excellent! We were quite hungry after exploring the town so any food would have tasted amazing at that point but still these tacos were great :) The menu is a little tricky to navigate because of the funky item names, but my group liked all the things we ordered. The guac with the freshly fried chips was not to be missed. The only con was the service. 4 of our 5 orders came out around the same time, but it took them another 10 minutes to bring out the 5th, which was just a simple taco order. Sancho's Tacos is our family's go to place for tacos when in San Clemente. Ordered Flounder Taco ( with fish), and OG taco on Taco Tuesday. My mom ordered the Tri-Tip Burrito. You can't go wrong here. Everything is made with fresh ingredients and filling. On Taco Tuesdays there are special pricing for tacos. Each location has their own pricing so I'd ask before ordering. See previous review of Sancho's Tacos downtown Oceanside. Bring an appetite or take home the remaining food for later , it will satisfy your craving and still be just as delicious later on. Definitely bookmark Worthy if you are driving through the area . Or coasting down Southern California from Oc to SD.
