I had to introduce myself and explain I was there to inquire about selling some Pokémon cards. He then told me they only buy in bulk. Fine - I actually came in with a huge collection plus a rare Dragonite V Alternate Art 192/203 (Evolving Skies Full Art Alt Art). SECOND - I asked if he wanted to at least look at the rare card. He declined without hesitation, then added that shops "only pay 20%-30% of the value." That is completely FALSE. THIRD - After all of this, I said "okay" and wrapped it up. But was I thanked for coming in? Was I told "have a good day" or even a simple "bye"? Nope. Just another blank stare. This shop clearly does not value its customers or show even the bare minimum of courtesy. Even if they don't want to purchase something, the least they could do is provide basic customer service. Madness has a wide variety of collector card sets, board games, and also modern action figure lines, with Star Wars and G.I. Joe as large focal points. Madness does carry some vintage Star Wars figures from the '70s/'80s but it really shines with the franchise toy lines that have come after that heyday, with deep inventory in the sequel trilogy figures, Power of the Force, post-prequel movie and streaming show figures, and the Retro Collection. This is also the place if you love the Pop! Funko figures (which I do not in the least) as Madness has definitely gone all in on the craze. I found the staff to be helpful with my questions during my visit and they gave me space to think about some items I was mulling over.
