Even though I was nervous, he and his amazing anesthesiologist were always confident and have had several years of surgery experience. My recovery was strong- no pain or nausea, a couple of days of minor bleeding, managed with just mild medication. I also managed to sleep. And Dr. Mehta's post - op support has been incredible. He truly cares about his patients and has made a positive difference in my quality of life. I sleep better, and can exercise more. And I noticed better cardiovascular function aswell. Unfortunately, this also meant that I suddenly had nobody here to take out my sutures or to monitor my healing when I got back- and I was completely overwhelmed. Thankfully I found Dr Mehta and made an appointment, and I'm so, so glad I did. He immediately noticed I had a bad infection before he removed my sutures, and likely ended up saving the work that had been done on my nose in the process. He treated me for it right away and I was perfectly ok in under 48 hours. Not only was Dr Mehta willing to help me out even though I wasn't originally his patient, he was also available and responsive to me later that night via email and phone. After looking into his background, it made complete sense. Stanford, Cornell, advanced facial plastic surgery training, double board certified, and fully specialized in the face. I chose to move forward with Dr. Lieberman at L&P Aesthetics, and the experience felt incredibly personalized. I had direct access to him throughout the process, and he personally checked on me during recovery, which meant a lot. He actually called me himself multiple times to talk through the ptosis repair because I wasn't sure if I wanted to include it. He was very honest that I likely wouldn't be happy with my results doing just an upper bleph alone, and took the time to walk me through it until I felt completely confident in my decision. That level of care, especially from someone with such a busy practice, really stood out to me.
