The store is well lit with large windows and good lighting. Floors and tables are clean as is the public restroom. There is a real down home charm with the pictures, wallpaper and furniture, almost as if you were in a victorian era shop. This whole area feels very historical and is visible in the architecture of the structures in town. We opted for the last few treats available and were very pleasantly surprised. The Ham and gruyere cheese pastry was absolutely delicious. The ham flavor was rich. Not being familiar with the cheese, the flavor is mild but unmistakable. The pastry itself was very flaky, buttery and light. We arrived at closing and had very little choice of the treats that were left,, but what was left was so good that we are going to note this spot for a return trip during regular hours.
