Dr. Parker and her staff have been wonderful throughout the whole process of me having a root canal and fillings. I had to fight and wait months for Denti-Cal to approve everything, but they were there with me every step of the way. Dr. Parker and her staff are always so kind and pleasant when I come in to the office and do everything they can to make me feel comfortable. Let me start off by saying this is an amazing dentist who is caring and passionate about your well being. She has been my dentist for about 14 years. This review is way overdue! I've been going to Dr. Parker's office since last year. Prior to that, I was the typical "I'll do anything to avoid the dentist" patient who skipped and cancelled more dental appointments than I care to admit over the years. Since I met Dr. Parker, that has dramatically changed. She is personable, honest, and caring. She took the time to explain everything carefully to me, and assured me we would go at my pace on the work that needed to be done. I felt very involved on all aspects (the dental work and the cost), and I'm happy to say that I no longer dread my dental appointments. I've had deep cleanings, fills, and extractions with minimal and painless recovery time. Her staff is also wonderful! They are sweet, helpful, and very timely! I rarely have to leave a message when I call because they usually answer. When I do leave a message (after hours), I get a return call promptly the next day. I took my kids to the dentist yesterday and took forever to tell me, if there was something wrong with my kids tooth. The older lady in the front always has attitude and always unorganize.They try to said there wasn't nothing wrong with my son but obviously there was my son was in pain.Then they look at my son picture then said oh yea he needs so come to get fillings. Visited this dental office for the first time due to a change in my dental insurance. Chose to come here based on the positive YELP reviews. Staff was pretty friendly, but I was shocked at the amount of recommended dental work needed. Since I take good care of my teeth and have had very minimal dental work I was not convinced it was really needed. When they give you an estimate, they have you sign it to get you to commit to the work which I find a bit unethical. After going to other dentists, my gut reaction was definitely justified as I did not need nearly close to the work they recommended. I would NOT recommend coming here at all, based on the shady practice of trying to get patients to commit to unneeded work and max out what insurance providers cover! read more

Dr Parker is great! She makes you feel very comfortable. The was our first visit to the office. She took X-rays and showed us the abnormalities and reviewed all the information with us. My boyfriend had some fillings and she did a great job. He didn't have any pain throughout and we felt very comfortable. I went in to Sandra L Parker, DDS today because I had horrible pain in my jaw all weekend. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years and don't have dental insurance so I was nervous about how much they were going to charge me going in with all this pain since I have seen reviews of people paying lots of money. As soon as I walked in, the front desk girls were sooooo friendly. They took me into the back for a consultation within about 20minutes of being there. They took X-Rays, gave me a cleaning and once they found out what the problem was (wisdom tooth), they asked me if I would like to take care of it right then and there. I was obviously concerned about the money at first but after they worked something out for me at an affordable price I was more than happy to pay. I was so relieved that I left the dentist with no pain at all. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a dentist. I will definitely be going back! read more
