The restaurant was very clean, even the restrooms. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. My husband had the Mahi sandwich and he said it was amazing. I had barbecue wings. They were spot-on. We also split some loaded tater tots. They had a variety of desserts that look delicious. We got ours to go. We will definitely eat here again.

Dog Friendly The mushrooms were amazing, loved the sauce that came with it. We both got wings, they were crispy and had more than enough garlic & parm. Our waitress was wonderful, we even sat outside since it's been colder.

First time trying out Sandy's Grille. Terribly disappointing after seeing an almost 5-star overall rating on Yelp. I'm not sure how they have such a high rating. Food service was extremely slow taking over 30 minutes to get our food. They want to upcharge for anything extra you request (extra onions, extra sauce), so don't even ask. Some spots online have outdated menus. I have attached photos of the current menus, and there are no drink specials by the way. If you get a beer, they don't have chilled glasses either. A bottle of a domestic beer is $4. The food is very sub-par. Four of us ordered 4 different entrees. None of them were very good. Sides tasted out of a frozen bag, a can, or a box mix including the french fries, mashed potatoes, gravy, mushrooms, and slaw. The side of slaw by the way is a very small condiment sized cup serving of maybe 2 fork bites worth. Fried catfish came out greasy and undercooked and was sent back for additional frying. Still was not very good. Asked the waitress if the shrimp and fish were fresh or frozen and the answer was "fresh frozen." I was hoping for much better, but after this experience, I won't be back. With $15 entree price tags and the poor quality of the food, it's truly just not worth the spend.

I've tried hot wings at other places in town but Sandy's Reaper sauce is the best around, and you can't go wrong with the Rudy burger and the chili.

We live just down the road in Vero Beach, so discovering a neighborhood tavern with this much charm practically in our backyard was a real win. We had already eaten lunch at Nini's Cuban across the parking lot, so we stopped in just for a beer. Within minutes we were pulled straight into the atmosphere. Nancy, the bartender and proprietor, is the kind of host every small tavern dreams of. Warm, funny, and completely at ease, she makes newcomers feel like long‑time regulars while keeping the whole place running smoothly. The beer selection is far better than you would expect from a cozy local spot. There is a rotating craft lineup that rivals bigger bars, along with the classics and a surprisingly solid wine list. We spent half our visit sipping and the other half laughing at the hilarious signs covering the walls and at the antics of a couple of regulars who clearly keep the place lively. We have not tried the food yet, but the vibe alone guarantees we will be back and we will be coming hungry. This is the kind of place where you settle in, meet the locals, and let the afternoon drift. For the record, our beer of choice that day was "Cougar Bait." It is as much fun to drink as it is to say!

From the moment I slid onto a barstool, I knew I was in for something special -- and not just because the beer list reads like a love letter to hop heads and casual sippers alike. Each pint poured is thoughtful, crisp, and refreshing, with local craft brews rubbing shoulders beside tried‑and‑true favorites. I lost count somewhere around the third flight, but honestly? Worth it. And then there's Nancy, the bartender -- sweet lord, if every tavern had her warmth and precision, we'd all be happier people. She recommended beers without braggy pretension, anticipated refills like a mind reader, and managed a perfect balance of friendly conversation and professional grace. Her service alone is worth the trip. Great food, killer beers, and a bartender who makes you feel like a VIP? Village Tavern doesn't just raise the bar -- it is the bar.

For starters, they never asked for our IDs. Now, my husband and I are old enough to drink, but the fact that they didn't check them should have been a red flag. It's clear they just don't care. As the night went on, it became even more apparent. The staff didn't seem to care enough to cut people off when they had clearly had too much to drink. At one point, a man approached my husband and me while we were sitting on the couch and started a bizarre conversation, making strange comments and pointing at us. We tried to ignore it, but then his "friends" had to pull him away. A little later, he came back, now more aggressive than before. I started yelling for help from other patrons or the bartender, and they only responded by pulling him away. The bartender didn't intervene at all. At that point, we decided to cut our night short. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, not even on a quiet Wednesday. If they're not responsible enough to check IDs, they clearly don't care enough to ensure their patrons' safety or comfort.

There was plenty to take home and have a second meal, and she said it was all delicious. I ordered the soup (clam chowder) and house Caesar. The soup was nice and hot and tasted great. The salad was good, though a tad heavy on the dressing. A general note about Miller's and its kids' menu: I have eaten at a few of these places around the state, and I find their policy about adults eating off the kids' menu to be weird. Some servers are fine with it and some claim management won't let them allow you to order of the other menu. Most items on the kids' menu cost about $8. The (adult) meatloaf is $8.50. The fish and chips are $7.99. So, what is the big deal about an adult ordering off the kids' menu if the costs are the same? Some of us don't want a 1/2 pound burger. The kids' menu has a 1/4 lb. burger. Also, we sometime dine with our disabled nephews, and they usually prefer "kid friendly" dishes. I wish Miller's would review this policy.
