The filthiest nail salon I've ever been in. I almost walked out. I cringed at putting my bag down…read more They didn't appear to be using clean instruments. The nail service itself was also just bad. I did a gel manicure, and they ONLY did polish. They left hangnails and did zero shaping. My nails are super jacked, and I'll need to do a lot of shaping on my own. I would've asked for them to fix it, but they double booked my time slot and someone had been waiting 1/2 hour. I will NEVER go back and caution others.

Oh wait this is a nail review right?? Well now I love going to the grocery store because the best nail salon ever is inside the meijer right next to the starbucks. After being pampered by the excellent and accommodating staff, I feel ready to tackle my weekly shopping duty. Seriously, I got so many compliments on the shape and design of my nails! I showed them a picture from Pinterest and they nailed it. Furthermore.... As I am a mom, teacher, AND waitress you'd think the regular polish manicure would come off in a matter of a few days but my manicure stayed fresh for almost 2 weeks.

When I sat down I was given a can of Coke which was nice . As soon as I said I did not want gel , the whole atmosphere changed , the guy doing the fill called over another lady , both telling me I needed gel . I stood my ground and said I prefer not , not another word was said . My old polish was not entirely removed , fastest fill I've ever seen ! My usual salon uses utensils that are individually packaged , this salon just used whatever was at his table . They only have a nail dryer for gel , so I had to use a little pocket sized fan to dry the polish . My experience was not good and I will not return , but I did see others seeming to enjoy their manicures , they were of course getting gel treatment and were even served champagne ! Ps : and charged me 47.00 for a cut down and fill !

I had the most embarrassing experience! I went to a different tech to get my normal fill. There was a salon full of other customers and they just stared in disbelief, one customer said, "this is a place to come relax, not hear yelling!" That didn't stop the lady and she continued yelling as I sat down at another chair. The worst part was that I had no choice but to finish because this was my only free time to get my nails done before I traveled for work. I had to sit there another hour embarrassed, uncomfortable, and mad as people continued to stare and talk about the incident. Turns out the lady yelling was the owner! How does an owner of an establishment think it's ok to treat her customers like that. I pay a minimum of $70-$100 every time I go and that's how I'm treated? The gentlemen there do such a great job with their customer service and nail work. Now I have to find a new place to go because I refuse to give my money to anyone that acts that way. This was a weird experience because half way into the pedicure she kept talking out loud to herself and mentioning people coming over and passing. That no one is home she left a note for her family just very weird, she basically washed my feet and applied all these different products because I requested a deluxe pedicure. She barely did anything no clipping and it was just the two of us. I'm chalking this up to maybe just being an off day for her but very weird pedicure wasn't even okay my heel wasn't even touched.

I was here recently for a pedicure. The spa and amenities are nice. The pedicure was ok, but maybe…read morenot exactly what I would want from a spa environment. Bright lights, and the music is louder than I would prefer, but it may not bother others. The nail tech was nice but they should let the customers decide if they want to talk or not and let them lead. People go to a spa to relax, not to be quizzed about their life. Customers will feel pressured to talk, as not to seem unfriendly. Leave people be unless it seems like they are feeling chatty. I had also requested no scents and no music if possible, and they did not even mention it, definitely used scented prodcuts. If they could not accommodate, that is fine, but what is the purpose of the notes if no one pays attention to it? The pedicure itself was mostly good except that body scrub should not be used on dry skin because it is painful. And even though I am a good tipper, I agree with what someone else said about the auto-gratuity. For what they charge, it should not be necessary for them to pay their staff well all on their own. Overall, just ok.
