If your moving Broker provides you with Sannah Van Lines to move anything, refuse the offer. Their process for moving your product is unimaginably unprofessional. Their phone operators often do not answer and when they do, never are able to provide answers/updates. It took over 30 days to receive our items from Columbus, Ohio to Punta Gorda, Florida. Once received, we had several items broken. Of course the contract we signed allowed for $.60 per pound of damage. (Read the contract) or more importantly discuss this policy with your broker first. Movers showed up hours late, complained the entire time, demanded more money than we agreed to initially, took the entire month allotted to move our stuff, lost several items and broke several more, movers never showed up to offload the truck so I had to do it myself with the truck driver in 90 degree heat, filed a claim and the insurance company fired them as a client, and now won't return any of my calls or emails. Worst moving company, Lost numerous boxes of my stuff. Broke numerous items, not taking any responsibility except for my treadmill. I was told by the audit department that I was to be awarded $124 for the broken treadmill. It's been almost 1 year and I still have not received my refund. Found numerous, about 26 COCKROACHES while unpacking the boxes that were left in their warehouse for over 2 weeks!!!! They only sent 1 mover for a 3 bedroom 3 bath home. The mover was a pervert and put me in a very awkward position and made me feel very unsafe. When the movers arrived at my place, they told me I had to pay much more than I've been told from All Coast Moving. My original estimate was $2000 then it jumped up $3500. This has been by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a moving company. We first booked through Empire Moving Group. Come to find out, they're a broker. So the day of our move, we have the movers show up. We had to give $6000+ on the spot in cash. They told us that our things would be delivered in 5-10 business days, and that we should be on the lookout for a phone call or email when everything would be loaded. It took us over 40 business days to get our things. We tried calling, emailing, texting both Empire and Sannah more times than I can even count. More than half the time we couldn't get in touch with them. It was always sent straight to voicemail, or just ignored. On the rare occasion that we did get in touch with an actual human being, we were either hung up on or told "we don't know". When we finally DID get our things, we were contacted at midnight 7 weeks later, and weren't given any time frame of when they would be arriving. They contacted me 30 minutes before they were at our house. I was told I HAD to give them cash, no wire transfer, venmo, check, no- cash in the full amount before they would even come to our house. When I refused, he came anyway and demanded cash. I told him I didn't trust to give cash and would like a paper trail, so they couldn't claim that we didn't pay. He ended up leaving WITH OUR STUFF because he was "hungry". After we got the money situation figured out (turns out, they DID accept Venmo after we threatened lawyers), he came back 4 hours later with a guy he met on Craig's List and unloaded our things. He was trying to throw our stuff around, hit the walls, break things (the Craig's List guy actually ended up ripping him a new one for this) and refused to honor the contract to put our things back together. THEN had the audacity to linger in my driveway for 45 minutes because I refused to tip him (I tipped Craig's List). My husband was at work, so I was alone dealing with this and almost called the police on this man. Also, if you look at their Facebook "reviews" all are from fake accounts praising the company. Update: Terrible settlment Process. I filed the claim form for document on 02/03/23. After a LONG back and forth, I accepted of settlement form through CSI (Their third party settlement processing company) on 05/31/23. It is currently 07/26/2023 and there are no check received as a 45 days promised. Short Review: Unprofessional (Expect a long exhausting fight with their customer service just to get your stuff delivered), Stealer (Loss of Package with no resolution), and lier (DO NOT trust what they said, it is different than what they lure you to sign the contract). Delayed return call, unprofessional attitude, dragging delivery date(from 1-3 days before signing contracts to 1-7 days when talked to movers then 2-21 days, and dragging time and hours on delivery date). Used Sannah Van Lines for a cross country move from IL to WA. Price that I was quoted from the broker ended being DOUBLE what I was quoted. I had a 10x10 storage unit and they attempted to charge me for more square footage than what I had. I had to prove this to them by sending Sannah the square footage of my storage unit. Sannah has very defined techniques to wear you down in by order to extort more and more money. The arrived 1.5 days late after multiple promises of being there within 2 hr windows and/or communicating (not done). Pushing us up against our rental & job start deadlines, they got us to initial off so we wouldn't get full replacement value on our goods and then proceeded to destroy them in handling during 20 days in their possession. Expensive antiques came to us in pieces and boxes were caved in with holes in them. They wanted to charge us another $3-5000 in addition to $2500 we still owed when we questioned their methods at delivery in order to avoid them putting our stuff in storage at "undisclosed" location. They were successful in extorting half of this because we had spent 3 weeks on airbeds with no chairs. We were quoted $10,500 for move by broker from CA to WA and paid $15,000--only to have to replace a table, desk, and pay experts to fix antiques with significant sentimental value. The movers (Mo, Adam, Angel, Julian, and one other) came in a UHaul truck with about 20 boxes, 25-30 pads, and 4 rolls of shrink wrap. They charged me $4,000 for packing supplies! Michael Redden assured me Sannah owned their own trucks. He assured me that the driver would pick up my goods and deliver them 11 days later from CA to PA. He assured me my goods would not be co-mingled with another person's goods, and he assured me my things would not go into storage. When the movers arrived at my house Mo, the foreman, announced that my things were being driven to Sacramento where they would be stored in a warehouse. Woah! My things aren't to go into storage...then more lies..."the driver is there and will be placing everything into the semi as we bring them." How Sannah Van Lines ruined our 2021 Thanksgiving Holiday! Booking the appointment was easy. Nice people on the phones, professional, very polite and I felt like I was hiring a legitimate moving company. Before I provide my review I want to say this, If you hire this company you deserver all the horrible things that come with hiring a BAD MOVING COMPANY! I hate to be candid but here is your WARNING!! Moving companies are a dime a dozen. Ask around and make sure you do not hire from the internet blindly. Our original appointment was for 9 AM. However, they had 10:15 AM. Not a big deal...right? I was quoted $2,100 (they said they estimate high) for a 2 bedroom, den, small kitchen, and garage, Our agreement was to have 4 movers come at 9 AM (even though on the estimate they put 10:15) 10:15 AM to 5:45 PM. That 7 hours for 4 movers. I called at 9:30 AM and the lady told me they would be there at 10:15 AM. I called back at 11 AM they told me they be there at 11:30 AM. I got a call from the movers saying they'll be at my residence at 11:30 AM. They did not show up until noon. Only 2 movers showed up to do the job. 2 MOVERS! Because there were only 2 movers they were rushing. The movers dented walls, scratched walls, broke glasses, and broke furniture. I have to say the two movers were very nice gentlemen. By the time they were done packing their truck, they only packed about 75% of the house. I have videos documenting all of this. I moved into a country club area where the cutoff time was 5:30 PM for large truck deliveries. Also, I'm wondering what type of fees I'll be charged from my previous landlord because of the damage? It's 7:30 at night and I speak to a guy named Sam at the dispatch. Sam tells me I need to give them $1000 in order for them to drop my furniture. He said he discounted my $250 rate to $200 for 10 hrs. He wanted me to send $1000 through Zell or Venmo which was a big concern. Nobody prepared me to pay via Zell or Venmo. I provided my credit card for the $550 deposit. They could've used that. After speaking with my wife we were uncomfortable paying $1000. I told Sam we would pay $500 and I would call their office and speak to somebody about what transpired. He demanded $1000! if it wasn't for my daughter's bed and their clothes in their dresser, I would've let them keep all of our furniture. I told him we'd pay the thousand dollars but we are going to give them a bad review and call the office in the morning. He then said if you're going to do that I want the full amount which is an additional $1600. He was arguing with me the whole time saying he was being fair. Sam was holding our furniture hostage. We ended up paying $1300 because it was 7:30 PM at night and my daughters need their bed. Keep in mind I was supposed to get 4 movers NOT 2. Sam kept telling me 2 guys for 10 hours is just as good as 4 guys for 7 hours. It infuriated me knowing that this guy was trying to take me as an idiot! They broke, glasses, pictures and damaged lots of our belongings. The movers were doing the best they could so we did get mad at them. All of us knew we were pressed for time. I helped the movers unpack the entire truck and we finished up at 10:30 at night. Yes, you heard that correctly! The customer who is paying had to help and become a mover so we can finish unpacking the truck. This is long, but if you are moving, you need to read this. One star is about ten too many. Our moving experience from Wyoming to Ohio with Sannah Van Lines, contracted through Allegiance Moving and Storage, has been nothing but a nightmare. We strongly recommend customers stay away from these companies on the grounds of deceitfulness, pressuring a customer in a tight situation, failing to properly honor the contract, carelessness with our belongings, and a refusal to reimburse for damages, lost time, and hardship. This began in March of 2022 and we finally got our things in July. We have been fighting the claims company, hoping that a suitable solution could be reached for all our problems. This is not happening. They showed up later than contracted, costing us significant time and money. They brought two guys instead of the promised four causing more troubles. They were unprepared to pack our things and we had to purchase many of the packing materials that we were then charged for. They changed prices on us on the spot and basically coerced us to pay them a huge sum. They would not proceed until we paid them the new amount. On the other side, our things didn't show until well past the "guaranteed delivery date. There was a great deal of damage, and the promised services, such as climate controlled storage, mattress protection, and reassembly of furniture (all on the contract) were neglected. They forced us to sign the incorrect Bill of Lading before we could get our possessions. We were never given the same answer every time we called, and they held our stuff hostage for additional payment that had been promised not to be due until delivery, but we have the documents that prove that our stuff was held for ransom. They only accept cash or postal money order, and when they make you mail it to them, they claim you never sent it. Suddenly, when we provided them with the evidence from the post office of the postal money orders status and delivery confirmation did they accept that we had paid, and they would lie and say it was handled, the issue was on our end, but we could see they would edit the online documents in secret, which required us to screen shot documents for several hours around these calls. CSI, who is handling the claim, says that because we signed these documents when they had us over a barrel, almost nothing can be done. I could go on for pages, but the short form is that my husband and I would rather move our very young family with multiple cross country trips in a Pinto than use these guys again. read more

This company is out to get your money without Giving you service as they say over the phone. They wanted a deposit prior to showing up to pick up the furniture. The deposit was made and they kept delaying the pickup. We let them know several times we would be flying out to another state on a certain date and time. They reassured us over and over they would be there to get our furniture prior. They never showed up. According to them we cancelled our order so they refused to return our deposit. I would NOT recommend using this company. They drastically underestimated our move and increased the cost from $2400.00 to $9600.00 after the truck was loaded. They lost our bed and a flat screen. They broke at least a dozen items. They were not responsive during delivery and demanded that we pay half of the $9600 at a moment's notice or they would not deliver our items. Worst company. Worst experience of my life with any company. Told me my things would be here within 3 days and that they'd drive the truck to the new location that very night. Day 3 rolls around and I call them. They try to tell me it can be up to a month. For a 5 hour drive. The ONLY part of the move that went as planned was that the truck showed up on May 20 as scheduled. The cost of the move doubled on site! I had to be out of the house so I couldn't fire them on the spot. Next, I had been assured, not once, not twice, but three times by the broker that Sannah accepted credit cards only to be told on site that they required certified check or cash. After many phone calls to the broker, Sannah accepted my credit card. My belongings were supposed to be delivered in New Hampshire in June - they showed up in August. My mattress was strapped to the outside of the truck! And again, payment was an issue because the driver wanted me to pay his boss instead of Sannah. I paid Sannah as planned - THEN, they told me that they didn't have all of my belongings and the rest would be delivered in a few days to a couple of weeks. Boxes coming off the truck that were clearly marked FRAGILE and this side up were upside down and started to be dropped until I yelled Stop. When i finally got into my new home and started unpacking, the damages started to be apparent as well as missing items. In my boxes, I found a box of shells that did not belong to me so I contacted Sannah and gave them all the information on the box so they could located the correct owner - that was in August and I have had no response from them about the box. Sannah Van Lines was hired by a broker to complete my move from San Diego, CA to Happy Valley, OR on 3/30/2022. Upon arrival, the job coordinator told me that what we had packed was more than our initial estimate from the broker, which is fine and we knew to expect. I asked how they verify actual square footage, and he said it is measured in the truck (in this case a 26' Uhaul) after everything is loaded. I asked if I'd be able to verify that with them and was told "yes". After they finished loading the truck, the truck left before I was given the opportunity to look it over. The coordinator came to me and told me that we ended up using 1200 cubic feet. This seemed high since our original estimate was under 400 cu. ft. I had no other option than to pay the $3,800 he said that I owed for the pick up with an additional balance to be paid upon drop off. When a truck finally arrived with our belongings in Happy Valley, it was delivered by a single person in a 26' Penske truck. Not only was the truck 5 hours late, causing me to miss a full day of work because I was told it would arrive at 10:00 AM and received no communication until he was pulling up at 3:00 PM, but the driver was unable to unload the truck by himself and carry our furniture upstairs so I had to spend 3.5 hours of my time helping finish the move even though I had paid for a full service move which was supposed to include furniture being reassembled and placed in it's respective room (the driver also did not have any tools to reassemble any of the furniture, so I had to spend additional time doing that). Upon opening the truck, there were three other orders being delivered. I measured the space that our belongings took, and it was 9.5' of floor space. Penske's website states that the 26' truck is 8'1" wide and 8'1" high with a total capacity of 1700 cu ft. Using the 9.5' multiplied by the width and height, our stuff took 620 cu. ft. of space. We were overcharged by 580 cu. ft. and $2757. I called Sannah last Tuesday 4/12/2022 to notify them of the fraudulent charges, and was asked to submit an email detailing it. I sent the email with the pictures last Wednesday 4/13/2022 and was told that I would receive a response this week. I called for a response this Wednesday 4/20/2022 and was told I would receive a response by close of business today 4/22/2022. They don't return my phone calls they don't respond to me I filed a claim against them they offered me $200 and I refused the $200 then they close my case. WORST MOVING COMPANY EVER!!! I am warning everyone stay away from these people! Not only are they con artist but they are thieves. They have been holding on to my family property for over a month! We made a big move to Wyoming and have absolutely nothing with us. They are unresponsive with questions you have and very rude when you ask questions. They harass you into signing a contract and double the price of the original quote they initial gave you. They doubled our price the day we were suppose to move out because they know how desperate you are to get your stuff out. They prey on your weakness. PLEASE GIVE MY FAMILY OUR BELONGINGS! We have been living out of a suitcase with no furniture for over a month now. Do not listen to the reviews that have given them 5 stars because they are FAKE! This company is a SCAM!!! As with all moving companies, things began without incident. My final price being 2x more than the quote? Eh, no big deal. That's the nature of moving companies. Things quickly turned once I needed an ETA on my belongings. Michael lies about their moving process - your belongings will be packed, unloaded and repacked onto different trucks. The do subcontract the driving out, even though they say they don't. They will avoid calls. They will lose your stuff. The contracted drivers who delivered my belongings were basically on-time, but let me know I was not supposed to be on their schedule (I would not let up on Sannah re: delivery timeframe). They were very nice, but they could not put together any of the furniture the movers dismantled because nothing was packed together. After fully unpacking I can claim that I am missing a lamp, table, and a box with odds and ends that are replaceable, but aggravating to know I must repurchase. DO NOT USE THEM! Pack and drive your own belongings before using them. Hire your drunk uncle. It's really a crap shoot on selecting a moving company and none of them have good reviews, but you will wish you didn't have the stress and headache Sannah brings. read more

Awful moving company! If I had read their reviews beforehand, but unfortunately went through a broker who assigned me to them. Still awaiting my stuff...been 3 weeks and they took it to their warehouse. I am in Colorado and my stuff is in Anaheim! Bait and switch...they give a low quote and then arrive, load and say you need to pay the driver more cash...sketchy. only have an answering service and then someone from India calls you. Very terse and no information on delivery dates other than "we have up to 21 days". 21st day is approaching and now they say. :oh no, that's 21 business days" if I want it expedited, then that's an additional $3000, but if they are late, they offer $30 per day. Horrible experience....dontuse this company EVER! read more

My partner and I moved from CA to GA this past summer, and my FIL helped us out by finding a moving company to bring the bulk of our belongings cross-country for us so we didn't have to do any of the heavy lifting and drive a uhaul truck across the states while towing my vehicle. Enter Sannah Van lines. Like others here have mentioned, when they arrived they upped our price based on the items we had for them to move. In their defense, we did have a bit more than we originally thought in terms of square footage of items. Move out day went well, the movers wrapped up a lot of our furniture so that it wasn't ruined, and after a few hours left with our belongings in the back of a uhaul truck. This is where the one star rating comes in. We are approaching move in day, and have heard nothing from the movers about when they would arrive. They gave us a 3 week window, so I wasn't holding my breath, but was relieved to know that we would get a 48 hour notice so I could inform my new employer that I would need time off to receive my belongings. Wednesday night, we are told that they will arrive around noon the next day and I'm pissed. I tell them that is not acceptable, and I would see them at 3pm the next day so I didn't have to take time off of work. They show up around 5pm (why so late? I couldn't tell you) and begin moving our stuff into our new home. This part went absolutely fine. A few of our items and boxes arrived heavily damaged, but we expected this since these are movers, and movers suck at keeping your stuff nice like you packed it. Of all of our damaged items (including them just not having a ladder that we packed) we had about $500 of damaged good which included one of my computer monitors, the missing ladder, and some nice display items. Thank god our TV's were okay. So, we file a claim, find all of the items online for their original prices and wait. Turns out their "insurance guarantee" is a downright lie, because they offered us $55 for all of our damaged/missing items. This isn't even enough to replace the ladder that is probably still in California for all I know. TL:DR - Don't use Sannah Van Lines, they are scam artists posing as movers, and lie from just about everything from your original quote all the way to when they will arrive to provide their "services." read more

Brutal experience. First thing you need to know is that they NEVER answer the phone. They hide behind an answering service that intentionally misleads people into thinking they are taking to actual Sannah employees--that will NEVER happen. Our driver tried to scam/hold us hostage because Sannah wouldn't pay him. This is a shady, fly-by-night scam artist. read more

**********Update we finally received a call from a driver today but he couldn't drop off our stuff to our place because the truck was too big!? apparently he lives in our neighborhood and knows this already. If he knew that truck would not work where we live why deliver with that truck? Now they want us to get our own U-Haul truck meet them 50 minutes away and unload and reload our things into the U-Haul ourselves. When we were told when we paid all this money they were going to unload our things into our house. On top of what we already paid then they are asking us to pay ourselves for the U-Haul and the reminder balance on top $600 more. And driver said if we don't have the full amount he will not deliver our things. Mind you they pick up our stuff in Cali on June 12th. It's now August 4th!! The driver just told us he pick up our things just this week..... we moved to FL on June 23rd!! why was our things sitting somewhere in limbo for that long!???? This is insane!!!!! We had to buy a few things to get us by and now we are still waiting because the driver didn't want to drop off our things today.... This is insane!!! This company is a freaking joke! How they hell have they been in business this long! Shame on you!!!!!!!! Taking advantage of people like this. What a nightmare to deal with these people. read more

Do NOT any circumstances accept text messages as a method of originating, editing or acknowledgements. I can't give 0, otherwise I would!!! We've been working with this company as a broker and they were customers. They used us to find trucks for their household moves, they consolidated loads to save money and ended up not paying us over $100k. Always lied to their customers about the eta, and it's been the worst and horrible experience we've ever had. Can prove every single word with all documents in hands. If you want your shipment safe, I wouldn't recommend using these guys. read more

Do not use this company, they are holding a 89 year old woman's personal property hostage and have threatened her with selling it all to recoup their costs. They failed to plan or provide the appropriate people to complete a move across the country, did not communicate with the client, gave her less than 24 hours notice of delivery. They made her pay more than the estimate at the time of pickup, and are trying to make her pay for their poor planning and inability to unload at the final destination. The Truck Driver acted like he could not drive into the storage yard, even though many semi's have driven in there, he displayed a lack of confidence in his abilities so much so that the storage company would not let him drive in after a certain point of doubt in his abilities. This company is unprofessional, unethical, and prays on the elderly. read more
