Trevor assessed the AC Unit in the condo and diagnosed why the unit is working at a reduced capacity. I recently had all the ducts in my home replaced. The gentleman that gave me the estimate did not try to upsell me and he also did not try to alarm me about mold and the urgency of the job. The technicians from Sansone were amazing. Despite the terribly high temperature at the time, they worked non stop and did a 5 star job. They were professional, on time, friendly and really went above and beyond. I hope I have most of their names; Saveliy, Kenneth, Ismith, DJ and a couple of others whose names I do not have. They left my home neat and clean and during the 3 day process, the AC was only off for a very brief time and the house remained at a comfortable temperature. They told me I need complete new duct work installed that it was moldy and tore up to the tune of 5 grand was going to do it was scheduled for the 15th between 8 and 10 when nobody showed up by 10:15 I called. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was transferred over to the AC manager Josh who informed me that he had called me and left a voicemail for me to call him on Friday because he had to come out and see how much ductwork he needed to go by. I never received a phone call from him. Cancel that called Sansone back canceled that and then called out two other air-conditioning companies for estimates both companies told me there's nothing wrong with my ductwork, except a small tear that a piece of tape will fix which they are coming out to do tomorrow. Do not use Sansone for ANYTHING. I bought a house 2 years ago and put $2m is renovation and upgrades. I contracted with Sansone to purchase and install 3 HVAC units in the home. All three were installed improperly and leaked throughout the entire home in the attic. This caused over $1.5m in damages. Black mold throughout the house. Had to move out and buy another home!! Had a leak detection company tell me the real problem and where the leak was located. Company destroyed my home. Jack hammered through pipes. Broke the main line. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company. I think their pricing is very misleading. This all started when I heard some water dripping. I went upstairs and looked at the air handler and saw water was dripping into the pan. It looked liked the line was clogged with algae. It has gotten clogged a couple of times in the last few months so it likely needed a professional cleaning. I called my usual AC company and scheduled an appointment with them the following day. My plan was in the meantime to just suck out as much of the line as I could using my shop vac until the AC company could come the next day. However, when I tried it, no water or algae was coming out. I guessed it must really be clogged. I spoke with a relative about the matter and he suggested I call Sansone Air Conditioning whom he had used in the past. I called them, explained the situation and they said they could send someone out the same day between 2 and 6 pm. I did not request same day service as it has been pretty cool outside lately, but it seemed they had some technicians free so I went ahead and scheduled it. I asked the lady on the phone how much the service would be and she said they charge an $89 diagnostic charge for every visit. I told them it just looked like the line was clogged and asked how much it would be to just come and clear the line. The lady said that service was $89. I asked her to just set up that service, but she responded they couldn't do that without first diagnosing the issue. I wasn't happy since it seemed pretty clear it was just a clogged drain but asked them to come out anyhow. At this point i was expecting a price around $190 which would consist of the $89 for the diagnosis and another $89 for the service. This was more than what my own AC company charges but since Sansone could come out the same day I figured I would pay it. Later that day a technician named Dylan came out. I believe he is a member of the family that owns the company. He was friendly and, literally, after being here for about one minute, concluded the line was clogged with algae. That diagnosis was $89 apparently. He then proceeded to suck out the line with his shop vac and blow compressed air through it. Just after he started I asked him to confirm the price for the job. He quoted me $340. I said that seems really high. He said that is what they charge. Since he was already there doing the work I felt I had no choice but to continue. In hindsight, I should have told him to stop immediately, paid him the $89 diagnostic charge and let him go. The whole job took him maybe 30 minutes. I told him I was not happy to be paying $340 for about 30 minutes of work. He eventually gave me a "discount" and the final price ended up being $290. He told me that is what the company "requires" him to charge. I told him I was aware he was an owner of the company at which time he offered the discount. I don't know what other companies charge, but $340 (reduced to $290) for 30 minutes of work is outrageous. I will never use this company again. I believe their pricing practices are deceptive to say the least especially since the lady at their office I spoke to indicated the total price would be around $190. She never said that the price could be over $300. I hope the extra money the company made off of me was worth it in exchange for their negative review. One of their service people visited to repair a leaky drain line. While here he noticed a connection to my hot water heater that was beginning to corrode. This company: 1) recommended a $2,500 repair of an AC part that, it turned out, wasn't broken; 2) said they couldn't initially work on the AC because there was ice in the system that "takes many hours, sometimes over a day" to melt, when it turns out you can run a fan for 15 minutes to defrost ice buildup; and 3) tried to aggressively upsell through scare tactics and misinformation. Extremely Disappointed - Poor Follow-Up and Accountability WARNING this company is owned by Strikepoint Group Holdings which owns about 100 other brands... this is NOT the same Sansone!!!!! I purchased a brand-new Daikin A/C unit from Sansone just two months ago--spending over $10K to avoid the stress of a breakdown during the summer. Ironically, the new unit already failed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We discovered the issue around 9pm and called immediately, since Sansone advertises 24/7 support. While the person who answered was polite and scheduled a visit for the next morning, the overnight without A/C was miserable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The technician who arrived found that a component hadn't been installed or tightened properly, which led to water dripping onto the system board and corroding it. He managed to bypass the board temporarily, but had to remove the thermostat, leaving us with no way to control the system or even know the temperature. He promised to return later that day or at least call. He did neither. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Since then, I've called repeatedly and have been told different things--parts were ordered, a runner was picking them up, someone would call. Still nothing. The unit has now been running nonstop for days, and I can't shut it off. No updates, no urgency, no accountability.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is unacceptable service for a brand-new system. Sansone's lack of communication and follow-through is deeply disappointing. I expected better based on all the positive reviews. Sadly, they are just as bad as the other larger companies. I asked to speak to a manager, sat on hold for 10min and no manager... I told her I had to go because I had to work but I still wanted to speak to a manager. I told her I was available between 11:30am and 1:30pm and to please have someone call me. NO ONE CALLED[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. This company is not well managed and clearly not client centric. I have wasted $10,000 on an AC that continues to malfunction because of their incompetence. Its now Friday at 2:30pm and runner showed up to drop off the two new parts and said the tech will be by later... still no call. The tech returned at about 4:30pm and was able to get us up and running. We used Sansone once before and scheduled again for maintenance. They gave us a window of 2-6 for a technician to come. We took a half day off of work to be there for the tech. 5:30 comes around and they call saying the technician would arrive in 15 minutes. We waited and no one showed up. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We kept calling and someone would pick up and say they would transfer us to dispatch, we would be transferred and the call would drop and we would have to call again. They kept saying 15 minutes the technician would be there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Never did they reach out to us with an update that the tech was running late.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I must have called 10 times asking where the technician was... 7:30 rolls around, which is an HOUR AND A HALF AFTER THE WINDOW ENDED, and the technician Steve Koonce shows up at the house. He sits in his car on his phone texting for 5 minutes before I went outside and waved to him like "hello, what are you doing". If you know you're that late, why the heck are you sitting in your truck texting... The technician walked the pace of a duck up to our front steps, no apology nothing for being late. I asked why he was so late and he said he was "loading something into the truck". I went to shake his hand and introduce myself and Steve sighed and went "ughh" and gave me the biggest attitude. [[HIGHLIGHT]]At that point we were done and asked him to leave our house.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Sansone, do better. If someone is late over an hour and a half, have at least ONE employee apologize and don't sent a technician with the worst attitude. I'm an ac tech that works for another company we are doing corrections on a sansone install that the customer payed $12000 for. As an ac tech I would stay as far away from this company for any of your ac needs. Bad installers, bad techs that rip off customers. Routine 6 month service call. Owners grandson Dylan showed up as the Technician. 1st thing he did was put his gauges on compressor unit and told me gas level was at 20% and there must be a leak. Told me very expensive to find leak and recommended new unit. Gave me prices for new unit and arranged installation for next day. Since my unit is only 7 years old, serviced twice a year and operating well, I decided to get a second opinion from my neighbors A/C guy. All levels checked out to be good, and system is in great shape. I have a photo of the freon and pressure levels. Dylan should be reprimanded. While I rated them 5 stars last service call 2 years ago, yesterdays service call rates 1 star. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Although they were prompt in returning my call and scheduling a technician things went down hill from there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The entire visit felt like a high pressure sales call trying to sell me complete units from $7k to $10k on a system that only 10 yrs old. They hardly discussed the issue at hand which was just a cracked/broken drip tray. When pressed for repair cost came up with $2200 which seemed excessive. Continued to press for complete new system and lowered the price $500 if I commit now. Told them I needed 24 hrs to decide and did some more research and found that my original installer of the system can swap out drip tray for $300. Didn't appreciate the high pressure sales tactic or the excessive quote for repair. Not saying their a bad company just beware of up selling you on things you may not need at this time. read more

Sansone installed our unit 5 years ago and we've continued the maintenance contract with them ever since. Unfortunately, we are constantly having issues with the unit and needing to have them come out just about every month or other month. We've been scammed into purchasing all sorts of "extras" that are very expensive and supposed to make the unit run more efficiently, but just seems to add more expense and more problems. Most recently, they came out last month for a routine semi-annual maintenance and ironically a month later, the unit doesn't work, we are now conveniently out of warranty (despite not even owning the house 5 years). They've sent multiple technicians out for hours on end that keep recommending costly replacements and still can't diagnose and properly fix the issue. Had a replacement AC system quoted. They provided multiple options to choose from and they reviewed the Pros/Cons of each option. We took advantage of the Zero Down, One year financing they offer. They installed the new system within a day of receiving the quote. That was fast and efficient. Needed a couple of follow-up visits to take care of some small issues. Those follow-up services were quickly dispatched. Service techs are professional and knowledgeable. We are happy with our new, high end A/C system after 4 months. It makes our home very comfortable to be in even when the Florida weather is at its worst! And our electric bill is down 20%+ . I recommend that you give the folks at Sansone a try. read more

6/20/2023 Today for the second time I took time from work to get an a/c maintenance service. The first time the company dispatched a technician, he left without doing the job. They decided to dispatch me a second one and that one was also not the right one. 1. He never made a phone call to let me know he is on his way. 2. When he was lost in my complex, he never contacted me to check where I was located and where to park. He spoke to my neighbors to find me. 3. Upon arrival, I told and showed him not to touch the next appliance on the ground which belongs to my neighbor (attachment). It did not help. Later, he told me that he also serviced that one free. I never heard mine to be serviced. He should have focused on my job and not use the company's time for unauthorized jobs to other neighbors. It was very inappropriate and non ethical. 4. I told him that he also should check the two engines split in my unit. Then he left without completing the job. He told to the company that he completed the job. Liar! 5. He arrived at 2h00 pm and left at 2h30 not doing the job. I was on the phone from 2h00 pm to 6h00pm speaking to hundred of company employees wasting again over and over my time. Did not have room to install with proper pitch, so the moisture remained up in the air handler and rusted and corroded the entire thing out after 4 years. Also, the connection at the breaker box by the unit was not up to code. They did the yearly maintenance on the unit. It was not until I had THREE other companies out to get a new yearly maintenance contract that all this was brought to our attention. Appeared to be possible mold growing. Jason came out for a tune up. He failed to tell me I had a bad blower motor causing my unit to freeze up. He also failed to inform me that bacteria was growing in my unit and blower wheel was dirty. I paid $288 for a sales person (supposedly a "repair employee " ) to come to my house, and the first thing I heard from him was that he was offering me a great deal if I bought an AC equipment from his company. He tried to sell me the unit over, and over again. Good thing I didn't have them repair the unit because I would of been charge, and they wouldn't have fixed it so that I could purchase a new unit from them. Later on I called another company whom they did not charge anything to locate the source of the problem in the unit. Bought the Carrier AC unit for $8000 from them, order new grills it took three months fast forward five years drain clogged line $97 for diagnosis, $175 for repair than he does t tell you they will not charge or waive the charge $97 if they repair it, instead he tells you you can pay $150 for annual maintenance instead of $175! BAM!!!!! You take the bite than they sent you invoice than you realize instead of paying $78 you paid $242!!!! It is the homeowner's responsibility to schedule their prepaid maintenances. Maintenances do not roll over after the contract's annual period. This company sucks! They installed a brand new system for more than $10,000 in December 2020. By June 2021, the A/C system wasn't cooling the house because of a metering device was losing pressure. They sent a technician to fix it, and we thought all was well. Now, it's July 4th weekend, and the system went down again. I called their emergency service department, and they told me they would have a tech out at the house between 2:00 - 5:00 PM on Saturday. That never happened. I called the service department after the technician not showing up at 5:00 PM. The operator told me they would call back in 30 minutes. It's now 7:20 PM, and no call from Sansone. This company is highly unprofessional, and poorly run. I won't be using them moving forward. read more

What I like most....they were able to come out and check my unit same day. Their service fee costs are lower than others. They also are able to service trailer HVAC units which most say they can't. The tech educated us and found no issues. I appreciate the honesty. read more
