Low rating because of service from what appeared to be probably not a 16-year-old server. Food was fine no complaints there. One thing to note is that there is a salad that they consider vegan however it has turkey in it. I tried to point that out to a couple of people and they were totally totally disinterested. So what does that tell you. I'm over this place

Food was fresh AND delicious! Service was good. Ambiance was nice, overlooking the patio. Habanero honey buffalo sauce was a hit! Oh and try the Fried Ice Cream. Will come back.

My husband and I sat in the bar in a booth and service was so slow! If we come back again, we will not be doing that. The Happy Hour menu impressed with its variety, especially the popular wings. Our choice of popcorn shrimp, served with fries, was enjoyable. The frozen mango margarita was a pleasant surprise, adding to the positive note of our experience. It's worth noting that Happy Hour runs daily from 3-6 pm. I'm often skeptical of chains but for HH, it's a solid choice.

Service was excellent and food delicious. Casual atmosphere and it was a beautiful day and cool so we sat outside. Definitely recommend and will be back next time we're in town.

The fish is terrific; moist on the inside, crispy on the outside, not fishy; a really nicely done fried fish. The fries were a big miss! Last time they were overly salted, and we did mention this to the staff. This time, it was worse; not too salty, but everyone was unhappy with the texture. Some thought they were frozen (they had that frozen fry texture), but of course, they were not, we were told. The taste was OK, but after a few fries, none of us could eat any more. They all ended up in the trash. Too bad because the most challenging part of fish and chips is the fish, which Rowley's does very well. Chips? Nope! You can ask for a Caesar instead, but it's rather lackluster (more later). My wife had the Green Chile Tuna Melt, which was pretty good and unusual. They use wild yellowtail to make the salad, and it was a nice upgrade from the usual. Not fishy like Tuna can be (although if you like tuna salad, which we do, that's not an issue). Had a nice kick from the Chile, nice bread, etc. We recommend this dish. Came with a side Caesar salad, which was pretty bland. It's all about the dressing, of course, and this version didn't seem to have any anchovies I could detect, nor the necessary other ingredients to make it remarkable. Could have been ranch or any other 'white' dressing. Another miss. Tried the Roasted Brussels Sprouts, which were pretty good (need more roasting), and need the bacon as a default. The version at Box Car is far superior. But not bad here, not a miss. But better We also tried the Grilled & Roasted Vegetables topped with feta. This dish was delicious! A really nice side for those who want something healthy with their fried fish. The waiter knew we didn't like the fries, so he 'comped' us dessert, which was a very nice gesture. We tried the Bread Pudding and the Mango Cheesecake. The cheesecake was way too cool, so its texture was hard and not what I'd normally expect. There wasn't a trace of Mango I could detect. The crust was nice. Not a miss, but not something I'd order again. The bread pudding was pretty good, not the best in class, but more successful than the cheesecake. Not overly sweet, thankfully, but a bit dense. Service was very good! Our server was Gerson C, who got everything right. The kitchen served the food promptly, and everyone was served at once. But overall, too many misses for me to be convinced to go back.

Very interactive, friendly, jovial, very interactive and going above and beyond to make us feel at home and answer any questions that we might have about their menu. As outstanding as the service was when we placed our order at the counter. The food itself blew everything out of the water. My cheeseburger on a sesame seed bun with green chilies, grilled onions, pepper, jack cheese, and all the accompaniments was probably one of the best burgers I've had in a very, very long time. Outstanding. My dining companion had her burger with green chilies and grilled onions and pepper jack cheese, and all the compliments served on a sopapilla bun. She said it was not good, it was marvelous, stupendous outstanding. The sweet potato fries were outstanding... Crispy, tasty and the serving was huge We were the only patrons in the restaurant at the time, but it had a friendly vibe to it and dislike a down home friendly Mom and Pop restaurant. I have tried to make as many notes as I can to make sure next time my man, Santa Fe that I grab a real burger. This place was off the chart good. I wish I could give it more than five stars, but that's my limit.

Friend and I both go the Adovada combo. I loved the adovada chalupa so much I got an adovada burrito to go for breakfast tomorrow! The cheese enchilada w/Christmas sauces was so delicious, as was the rice and posole. The only thing I didn't love was the shredded beef taco. Beef was dry, tough, a little flavorless. Maybe because it was the bed of the night? My friend got the regular ground beef taco and said she liked it. On top of all this, the food came out fast, piping hot, and the older man who works there is so sweet, never saw him stop working and he made sure to check on us a few times. The woman working tonight was good too, very professional and good service, just not sweet and warm/fuzzy like the older gentleman was. Additionally, prices were fair for the amount and quality of food, ZERO wait, easy parking, not at all touristy, just very small-town, old school diner type vibe. I will 100% be back when in Santa Fe and highly recommend!

In terms of the food, I'm giving them 5 stars for what this is - which I think is how the ratings should be judged. No, this is not an upscale steakhouse with the finest cuts of meat. You also aren't paying those upscale prices. I got the 14oz Texas Ribeye ($27.49) and thought it was great for what it is. You are not going to get a far better ribeye unless you want to pay at least twice that price in Santa Fe. It was cooked medium rare as I ordered it, well seasoned, and had great flavor and not a ton of fat you have to cut around and discard. That makes a good ribeye in my book. I will definitely return and try some other steaks as well. For my sides, the Caesar salad was good (great crunchy croutons), but the mashed potatoes and brown gravy were simply OK. Potatoes were better if you dip the rolls into them. The rolls are great - so soft and buttery with a nice yeast flavor. I will definitely return again and try another steak to see how it is - but I think the ribeye is a great choice overall.

All good, we know it's busy and very aware of how it goes. Ordered our drinks and food (Prime rib- med rare, loaded baked potato and a cup of chili) just to make sure we got everything in. Bread came out after 5min of them taking the food order and being told they'd grab those for us. Again, all good, it's a busy Monday. The cup of chili is dropped off and it's delicious. Then Prime rib gets dropped off, but missing the raw horse radish. No worries, easy fix. The person drops off the steak asked if we needed a plate, so we said yes. At this point there's no potato, still no horseradish. We split the steak and use the bread plate. Half way through eating the steak, still no plate and No potato. We did get the horseradish, so it's all good. We managed to almost finish our cup of chili and steak before the potato came out. No extra plate. Oh well, the food was great, service needed help.
