I ate there yesterday Tuesday, 5/24/22 at their 36330 location and thought the service/food was pretty good. I didn't see a dessert menu. I got a T-bone steak, seasoned fries and cole slaw along with a virgin daiquiri ($35). Will definitely visit again. I was alone and felt very comfortable and attended to. I got 2 buttered buns (not really biscuits) before the big meal arrived and those seemed like the butter was cinnamony-sweet. Overall good experience. Santa Fe is one of those places you head to on a whim after a night of binge drinking since it's right next to the Fairfield Inn. Standard, middle of the road stuff, but A-OK, none the less. I only briefly stopped by for take out, as I was in the mood for a quick burger that I could return back to my comfy hotel room with. Both the burger and fries had a rustic feel to them. The fries were perfectly seasoned. The burger, whilst beautifully cooked, had this bizarre thing going on where you could taste the seasoning on the outside, but it was subtle. It was as if the inside could have been seasoned a bit, too. And it could have been juicier. Another reviewer mentioned how this place apparently cooks all their meat to death. I'm just grateful that wasn't the case with my burger. I also appreciate the fact that they use brioche buns for their burgers. Because I love that type of bread! They even meticulously placed the lettuce beneath the burger to protect the bun from going soggy. Nice job, fellas! The inside decorum reminded me of a Longhorn's steakhouse or Texas Roadhouse; peanut shells on the floor with a western style theme going on. Classic. The bottom line: Santa Fe is a fine spot if you just want something casual that doesn't completely suck. Heck, I might go back one more time before my flight this evening just so I can grab a few drinks and maybe try another menu item. They were certainly better than Ruby Tuesday. Our waitress, Teagan actually suggested we write a bad review in hopes of the air conditioning unit will be fixed. The "Big Ass Fan" had not worked in over 2 years. 1. What deep seated problem does Teagan have? Does is go beyond just it being hot as hades or would you say she really hates her job? 2. Is it worth spending a few thousand dollars to repair the air? Or lose your customer base because you're too cheap make the repairs needed for your employees, patrons, and facility. We are a party of 8 and we were squeezed to a table way too small. The table we normally get was closed due to a leak in the ceiling and the other big table there were 2 people occupying it. Stopped by for lunch today and it is almost as hot inside as it is outside. The AC is either insufficient or not working. Apparently, it hasn't been working correctly for months. We have been here twice now. Once with a dog outside on the patio, and once in the cool A/C. We really like the food at this restaurant and the waitresses are awesome. The only reason I knocked a star off is because of the poor management. Food: HOT and delicious! We've had burgers, chicken fried steak, and their side salads. All have been fresh, hot, and flavorful. Service: The service was great. Unfortunately, the management isn't great and totally loads waitresses with huge parties while they already have a full load of tables. This gives the appearance of poor service and of course the waitress gets the blame. Our waitress from our latest outing tried very hard given the circumstances. But I can see that most of the negative reviews are completely avoidable and definitely the cause of ineffective management. Came to dinner tonight 6-21-23 for my daughter's birthday. We had a party of 11 people. 3 of the party members ordered the southwest steak tips which come with cheese, onions, and peppers for $13.99. After placing our order, our waitress returned and stated that they were out of steak tips and those individuals (including myself) would have to order something else on the menu. At that point all 3 individuals who ordered the tips asked if we could get the 9 oz sirloin for $14.99 (we were willing to play the extra $1 the sirloin costs), but asked to get the cheese, onions, and peppers that are including with the tips (and at a cheaper cost, mind you) at no additional cost. Our waitress told us no they would have to charge an additional $2.99 for each sirloin to add those toppings. Toppings that were included with the steak tips and the whole point in wanting to eat here this evening. We asked to speak to the manager, Stephanie, who also refused to let's us have the toppings for no additional cost. Stephanie was very unapologetic and extremely rude. We won't be eating here again. Corks and Cattles, Annie's, and Ruby Tuesday's are some restaurants that have better food and better customer service. Hope this review helps someone. read more

Went for dinner last night and not happy. The food took forever after waiting 45mins for a table. Ordered steak and chicken combo was told it was a new item. Steakk was burnt and dried out. Chicken was dried out no flavor at all. The baked potato was coated in salt gross. Asked for loaded baked potato which supposed to come with bacon no bacon on it. I'll start by saying 2 people in our party got food poisoning with a 3rd feeling dodgy too. Service: not bad but forgetful and we had to keep asking for stuff we had placed in our order. The house side salad was really good, the bread was like clouds, wonderful. The kids hot dog was just sad, just literally a sausage between bread. 2 people in the party ordered the same meal with different sides, which they completely messed up, mixing up the sides. I asked for a medium cooked steak, it was well over done, I only took a few bites, for 20$ this is not acceptable. Don't ask how people want their steaks if you're incapable of cooking it that way. Ribs and one of the fish dishes caused food poisoning. Environment: I'm not a fan of the peanut shells all over the floor, I don't want to feel like I'm dining at a dumpster. The coolest part of the restaurant was the bucket of peanuts they handed you upon entry. It was something I have never experienced before. Munching on roasted nuts, shucking shells on the floor and reading the humorous wall hanging around the restaurant made for a very pleasant experience. The food was pretty standard for a steakhouse. There was a actually a wide variety of items I could order as a vegan.Most of the items were sides, but if you double the portion, it would be a good meal. Including corn on the cob, white and sweet potatoes, fries, and of course salads. I settled on their Fiesta Salad sans the cheese and meats and with extra lettuce. It was very fresh and filling. Wings came out in 5 minutes, not well done, soggy and room temperature. Queso dip tasted like sautéed hamburger and cheese, very rudimentary. Bar service fair. Was seated in 30 minutes as promised. T-bone steak was tough and chewy, cooked properly and seasoned well but broccoli was like mush with too much raw garlic. Ribs had good flavor but were served at room temperature. Ribeye steak was fatty, chewy ,tough and inedible. Loaded baked potatoes were the best thing we ate, they were good. Server brought the salad at the same time as the entree with no silverware. After 5 minutes we found another server to give us silverware. Server said they were out of bread but coming soon, never got bread. I will give you not one but 2 examples of why I rated this restuarant a 1 star. First visit, I called in a to go order, 2 ribeye dinners (one cooked well done and the other cooked medium well). I was told it would be 30 minutes which was great because I live about 20 minutes from Santa Fe. I arrive and walk in to find 6 other people waiting, so I waited another 10 minutes for my food. Finally my turn and the man opens my plates to check them and I notice one didn't have the broccoli so he goes into the kitchen and I have to wait another 5 minutes. Finally get my food and get home sit down to eat, cut into my steak, which was ordered medium well and I see RED...not PINK, (picture added) have you tried to recook a steak on a stove after it's been on a grill? Well, it was tough and the flavor was off. So, I decided to just eat my Ceasar Salad and opened it to find nasty lettuce (yes, picture added) very upsetting after spending that much money and getting home just to find you cant eat your food. Second and LAST visit, now mind you this was all worth a months time. This was last night, which was my mother 71st birthday. She wanted their ribs so arranged for her 3 kids and their family to get together and celebrate at Santa Fe. I went to the website and it started that they took reservations and knowing this would be a large party I called to make said reservations. I was told they do not do that anymore but have call ahead seating. I asked what that was and she explained it as this, you call ahead 1 to 2 hours and when you get there IF a table is available they will seat you but if not you would have to still wait. So, then I contacted my sister and she said she would get there early to get us a table, WELL, the hostess informed her that she would not seat her until the whole party was there, what was that? We all agreed to meet at 7p and we were all there at 7p and sat there waiting for 37 minutes, 37 minutes. Now if it was my mothers birthday and she didn't want their ribs I would have left mad went across the street but you do anything for your mother. Anyway, we get to our table and we order. The food in My opinion has gone drastically down hill. Needless to say an hour long dinner turned into 2. This used to be my favorite restaurant in Enterpeise,but now it's one I will not return to of my own accord. Good Luck if you decide to go, hope your experience was better then mine. read more
