Can I rate 2.5? I was here last more than a few years ago saying I would not come back. Other members of my family had been here recently and said they liked it. This was once a Logan's roadhouse franchise company. All I can is that Logan's and Texas road house still kick this places a$$. It took our food a long time to come out. Our server had to be asked twice for water refills. He never asked how are food was. He did not bring out the food and no one asked how the steaks were cooked. The biggest issue was it took forever to get the bill. I will say the interactions we did have the server was very cordia. It may be a long time again before I visit. read more

I would give Santa Fe zero stars if I could. Once we arrived, we were seated quite quickly but it took 30 minutes to get our food order taken and we barely saw our waitress who every time we saw her blamed the slowness on the kitchen. After an hour long wait we finally got our food which is quite absurd considering there were maybe 5 tables with people seated at them and they weren't busy at all. My food was incorrect after the hour wait so I waited another 20 minutes for a corrected order. Our drinks were also incorrect and were only fixed after a complaint. There was a point we had to ask a hostess because she was the only person around to get more rolls. After all was said and done we were dissatisfied and ended having to pay $80 for okay mediocre food and terribleservice. Won't be going there any time soon! read more

This was our first time eating here and we were not impressed. The chicken nachos had almost no cheese on them. It was like a plate of chips with chicken on them and that's it. The mashed potatoes tasted really off. Like they had been made days ago and left out. Or maybe they were instant. The gravy had no flavor either. Got here at 7:01pm. Seated at 7:10pm. Order in at 7:20pm. James, our server did not use paper at all when taking our order. Checked the restrooms, men's was nasty with pee all over the floors, poo on one of the two toilets, and the trash was over flowing. Received our food at 7:41pm. Amazing! It was correct! In all service was great! Atmosphere is what you would expect from a place you throw peanut shells on the floor. I would however expect cleaner bathrooms from a place like this. I believe McDonalds checks their bathroom every hours but I could be mistaken. There was one last thing.. I get a deep scratch on the top of my hand for a staple that had come lose from under the table. I did ask for an antiseptic hand wipe and the staff was very apologetic about it. The food and the service was great and so was our server, but another server was the problem. Me and my daughter continuously got dirty looks and we even heard her talking about us to another server. She apparently thinks "we are the ugliest people she's ever seen on the fucking planet" and she "would shit on all of our belongings" if she could. We've traveled several days and was hungry for a good steak dinner. After checking the local reviews we ended up here. Big Mistake. We sat for an extended time for someone to take our drink order. There seemed to be a confusion as to who was supposed to be our server. Drink and dinner orders were taken. Drinks, rolls and salad were served in a reasonable time. Then we waited and waited. Finally our dinners arrived. Both dinners were overlooked and not correct. The rare steak was not even medium rare. And my medium steak was hard to cut. The manager took the overcooked steak back. Then we waited again. By the time the replacement steak arrived that individual was finished with their meal. Needless to say they were not able to enjoy the steak. What a disorganized mess. We came late to a family get together to find that our family had to wait forty minutes to get seated, 20 minutes for service and an hour for their food. Having heard that we decided to order an appetizer and meal for our kid. We had to send our receipt back three times to get it right and the server insisted it was corrected. I stopped into the bar area here for the OU game. The service is good and the bar specials cheap as you can get several drinks and apps for 2 bucks a piece. I also ended up ordering a steak. The steak was good not great but good. No complaints here but now raving compliments either. Just an average chain restaurant that serves average food and has average service at sometimes above average prices. read more

Excellent family style steak house. Menu is full of good stuff. I enjoyed the filet and added the fried shrimp. 6 oz of excellent steak and a half pound of shrimp. Both were excellent. Full service bar is a nice attraction. Service was really friendly and attentive. All in all this was an enjoyable experience. My only negative observation was the noise level. Too loud for a quiet meal but perfect for family and little ones. If you want a good steak and can't find anyone to sit on your babies, this is the place for you! read more

Came here with the kids and it took 10 minutes for them to seat us, they were not crowded, and after the hostess had to have a conversation with the manager. Once we finally got seated it took way to long for our waiter to get our order and to get our drinks. Once our food came out it was only warm not hot. We won't be coming back for a while. read more

It was my first time ever trying this place. Wishing the first 15 mins there was already so much wrong. Bread came out cold. We had to change our drinks twice, because it was weird tasting and the soda was flat. I refused to take another bite of my steak. It looked more like pork chops than it did steak. I asked for medium and my steak came done on one side and rare on the other. This will be my last time visiting. Our go to place for a quick steak. Tonight was jam packed and yet we got in in less than 10 minutes. The wait staff in my opinion is always quick and attentive. My husband still enjoys the death burgers, while I've found something to love--the fiesta salad. Yum!!! I've picked up a few orders to go and other than a small mishap of putting buttered rolls on top of my daughter's salad, contaminating her food with dairy, I have been diligent in instructing them not to include rolls and the food has come out perfect and fresh every time. They are super fast when grabbing something quick and, with a mixture of jalepenos and a vinaigrette salsa, the salad is full of flavor. It's becoming a favorite! read more

Had the Monterey chicken. It was a Thursday evening and the place was packed. Staff did a very good jobs getting me to my seats. Waitress was friendly and great. I used to frequent this location, and hadn't been in a few months. My latest visit was not one that will bring me back, the steak was dry and tough. I also watched the bus person drop his towel while cleaning the tables, he then picked it up off of the peanut covered floor and continued to clean tables with the dirty rag. I actually asked the man if he had just dropped the rag, and he replied that yes he had, but still kept "cleaning" afterwards. And the food was wrong then the rest of the family food arrived 15 min later. Had to bring it to their attention that the salads never made it. Employee Thanksgiving dinner last night. Party of approximately 20. Reservation at 7. Finally seated at 720. 2 waitresses assigned to our 2 tables, needed more apparently. Took our drink orders about 7 minutes after being seated. Had to get our own peanuts. Drink orders came out about 5 minutes later not including the 1 mixed drink that was ordered which came out at least another 5 minutes later when she arrived to take meal orders. Requested bread again at this time. It finally arrived about 2 minutes before our meals did. I myself ordered the nachos. I requested salsa. She brought it out and I mentioned that there were no peppers. She said they didn't come with peppers. I said, it says on the menu it does. She then brings out freshly chopped raw jalapeno peppers and said they had changed the menu unknown to her. Naturally I asked for pickled, she said they don't have/serve those. Who eats raw jalapenos on nachos? News to me. Regardless, the nachos were horrible. Guess it was the queso that gave them a sweet taste. Mixed drink (strawberry sangria) that came in a tall wine glass was 7 bucks. Not worth it. All around bad visit. Not many were pleased. Will pick a different place next time to drop 300+ dollars. read more

I really loved the chicken pasta, very good, waitress messed up our check and promptly corrected. My only complaint was that they got rid of diet Dr pepper. I gotta have my dp with my meals. What gets me is that they used to have it and now it is either nasty water which is tainted by the base or coke zero even worse. Make sure you review your charges. Ordered a Patron Rita, which I was assured was their "Top Shelf". Drink was served in a small Mason jar with a handle and was just OK; mostly mix. Then, when I got my check, I noticed a $3.50 charge for a Patron shot ... did not order did not receive. Questioned waitress re charge and she immediately threw it back to the bartender, who threw it back to the Food Service Manager; not the Bar Manager and bartender never did come over to the table. The FS Manager, who appeared to know little about the bar service kept giving me a pre-recorded response...."in order to make the Patron Rita 'top shelf' (can you guess what's coming?), THEY ADD A SHOT OF PATRON" ...AND CHARGE YOU AN ADDITIONAL $3.50! I asked "how do I know I got the extra shot, since nothing was "saddle-bagged" to the glass, or delivered with the drink?" Same pre-recorded answer. I was told they could not take the $3.50 off the bar bill, and would not adjust the $3.50 from the food bill. The only reason I gave this review one star is because I enjoyed the food; kudos to the kitchen. Too bad. I will NEVER go to this or any other Santa Fe again. Yes, it was only $3.50, but the fact that you just have to take their word that extra charges are warranted is crap. NO ONE at this MWC location is concerned with customer service. Oh, BTW .... bill for the drink was a total of $12.75 + tax. About a $1 an ounce! read more
