After a night of bouncing around a few cocktail bars, this is my favorite place to end the night. Everyone is always having a great time singing along to whoever is doing karaoke, except whoever is running karaoke...they always seem pretty miserable. My only real complaint is the very inconvenient cash only bar. read more

Dive bar for sure! This bar is in a double wide trailer, and it's odd the beaten path from your typical Nashville music scene. There are Christmas decorations and Santa's throughout the place. If you're looking for a unique place with old country music playing this is it! They have karaoke at night and limited seating. Get there early for a table or bar stool to hang out. What a quirky little place. I was laughing at the negative reviews because of the smoking lol. I remember when you could smoke in bars, glad you can inside this place. Thought the karaoke was a bit awkward at first but after a couple beers I thought about doing it myself. Not sure if this place offers food but just eat before and you're good. I will say the guy checking IDs had no clue how to check(?) a passport. Another employee came over and told him it was good (not expired) Came here thanksgiving night, boyfriend brought me and some family for our first time. Off the chart fun! Have wanted to hit up this double wide trailer for quite some time and finally did. Bring your cash... They don't take plastic. Cans of beer (PBR) start at $2 so very affordable. This place is fantastic. It's a straight up, no frills, no bs dive bar. Went twice during my trip to Nashville and it will be my first bar stop when I return. Every single employee was personable, friendly, welcoming, and honestly just ridiculously nice. So you know what to expect: -Smoking is allowed inside. -They only serve beer (the selection is good) -It's cash only (the prices are great) -Karaoke EVERY night starting at 7pm If you plan it right you can actually meet Santa himself. I ended up havng to try ths place as per other Yelper's reviews.....As we pulled into the gravel drive I think I saw a Santa sighting....well i was either Santa or a member of ZZ top leaving the building...he waved--we waved back and let out a little yeehaww...and scooted on into the doule wide-----they only serve beer and only take cash --it is a cheap place to drink so just look for al the loose change in your puse and you will be fine.... It was Karaoke night and the karaoke host was actually a good singer and thank goodness because nobody else wanted to participate. I would have, however, found the choice of songs to be lacking (needed me some Miranda Lambert!) You can get an opportunity to chat with some of the colorful locals.....for future material if you happen to be a writer.... Kick back on the cozy deck outside complete with tables that were once some type of wooden wheel that used to house cable or wire... Santa's Pub is one of the most unique nightlife/dive bar experiences that Nashville has to offer. Although a bit touristy, there are plenty of locals that frequent this place. As you pull up to the small dirt lot surrounding this double-wide trailer with Christmas graffiti painted on it you will wonder what is so special about this place. You will notice upon entering the low ceiling, the smoky smell and then the sounds of karaoke will hit your ears as you navigate around the crowds of people in this tiny place. The year-round Christmas decorations somehow don't feel out of place. If you're lucky when coming here you will see the one and only Santa (aka the owner, Denzel) who is a legend in his own right. On an extra lucky night you might see a celebrity in here who has come to pay their respects to this place (Ed Sheeran has been spotted here before). If you haven't been here before then it's worth checking out at least once. As it is cash-only there is an ATM outside where you can grab a few bucks to pay the cover and order some beer from Santa's wife Angelina, who is always at the bar (no liquor is sold). Find a bar stool or a rickety chair and then enjoy the show with the other patrons as they sing along with the lyrics of the karaoke song displayed on a small TV by the stage. You never know who you'll see here or what people will be singing, but it is never a dull moment at Santa's. read more

I moved to Nashville in 2018 and immediately started hearing whispers of Santa's Pub. To a Nashville-newcomer, it sounded like folklore. "So, it's a dive bar... in a trailer? TWO trailers? But there's a $5 cover? And it's one of the best karaoke bars... ever?" Like watching Elf in the summer time or eating breakfast for dinner, a night at Santa's is an essential one-in-a-while experience. It's crowded, it's loud, it's sweaty, it's smoky, but the beers are $2 and every now and then you get someone on the microphone who brings the house down and that s**t is magic. Important note: please respect the people in this place, especially if you're a visitor. You don't own the place. But if you lean into the beauty of it, you'll quickly realize that this is a place you'll never forget. Very "I know it's a 30-minute Uber but we gotta go anyway" vibes. read more

It is not worth the drive - the karaoke consisted of guys singing Mulan Disney songs - it's a trailer house turned bar.

I don't even know where to begin, and I don't say that in a negative way. If you love tiny spaces, beer, casually organized Karaoke, and Christmas (or at least the associated decorations), then boy do I have the place for you! I think it's important to acknowledge that Santa's Pub is a unique experience not necessarily suited to everyone. Personally, I feel right at home partying in a double wide trailer while half a dozen Buffalo fans shotgun beers 10 feet away. I grew up in Upstate New York and am well acquainted with both the people and activities described. This is a low-stakes kind of place -- come in jeans and flannels and you'll fit right in. The interior of the space fills up quickly, but allows for both seating areas and milling about cheerfully. Be aware that Santa's only serves beer, which is a problem for me as someone who always feels like they've eaten 3 loaves of bread after just one Corona. My dream is that they'll start serving my G&T staple, but I think this girl is gonna have to keep dreamin' (or write to Santa asking for a Christmas miracle). read more

Santa's Pub is exactly what you want from a grimy dive bar. It is a trailer with a bar in it. Smokers welcome as you can smoke inside. The smoke sticks to you for two days after you leave. That's not my kind of jive, but you pretty much know to expect that before stepping foot in the door. Santa's is a karaoke bar. That is usually the primary reason people come here. Gavin DeGraw and John Mayer have both come here before. So, it really has everywhere come in. I definitely do not consider it a touristy spot though. More localish than touristy. Drinks are as cheap as this place looks. PBR is $2 or $2.50 with other beers up to $4. You're not spending a ton when you come here for sure. They also have liquor. Parking is in a gravel parking lot. Nothing much more to be said there. Weekends there is an admission price to get in. Usually $5 when I have gone. Bring cash!!!! Cash only with ATM onsite. Also, they are hardest on checking IDs. Best experienced when very under the influence to feel full effect of the girt of this joint. You either love it or you hate it. It's cash only with few selections to drink from. You're getting beer or seltzer's from a fridge. I've been here multiple times. It's honestly nothing too special because it's a place you could go to anywhere around the Midwest. What makes it unique is that it's in Nashville and the crowds are there for a good time. Santa sometimes isn't the most pleasant guy. He hates cussing. I've heard him threaten to taser people for it. The rule doesn't make sense but it's his establishment. Would avoid at all costs if you come in contact with animals or children because they clearly have a big problem. This is two trailers with a karaoke machine and a bar so I'm not surprised they have these issues. Poor decoration as the Christmas theme is quite annoying. Wow, Santa...your place...my goodness. This pub has become quite the little hot spot in Nashville...and I am not entirely sure why. Granted, it's...interesting...in about every sense of the word. It may be the Christmas decor found year around, the karaoke setup and frequency, the beer selection (Ahhahaha! Just kidding!), or the fact it's located in a double-wide with a HUGE Santa mural painted on the side...I mean, who knows why DROVES of people come from near and far to see what Santa and his trashy minions are up to, but they do. Seriously. Oh yeah, and there is a dude there that looks like Santa. Perhaps he's the owner? IT'S TOO LOUD TO ASK! "WHAT DID YOU SAY?!? YOU NEED A MASK?" Anyway... This hole-in-the-wall is complete with the trailer trash feel when one is in a looooong line to use the facilities, and ten people are smoking around you. However, the nice deck around the trailer is really the only thing NICE about this place. Great for when you really need that breath of fresh air...and yes, you're gonna need it. Leave your taste for good beer, and the plastic to pay for it, at home. They won't be needed here in PBR heaven. Cash only, ya elf! What an absolute disappointment for an iconic establishment. The place was way too cramped, it was cash only which in 2022 is absolutely not acceptable. There is an ATM right outside but it's just an inconvenience to have to do that before going in. They only serve beer which is fine but it's also all karaoke which is a bit rough. Located in the outskirts of Nashville, all you need to do is pull into their gravel parking area, get your ID checked, and enter the trailer decked in Christmas lights to order what will likely be your first of many $2 PBRs. (Modelos, Coronas, Budweisers, and many other options were available for $3 to $4.) The main pastime in Santa's Pub is karaoke, but take note, most of the songs chosen were country, so be prepared for some strange looks if you select something vastly different. ("Cheeseburger in Paradise" and "Drunk on a Plane" were hits the night we attended.) . Still, the crowd is friendly and mostly welcoming. Seating is limited and on the comfort-scale ranks as "just fine." Smoking is permitted within the bar. read more

in the past few months of this I've decided the following Karaoke can be terrible, sometimes there's just not enough beer to make it enjoyable. I never knew that this was possible. Some people smoke something there that smells like the inside of a burning car. Parking can be a nightmare as people basically attempt to figure out how to park. You can park on the street, but that street is a tad sketchy after hours. Range of ages can be low 20's hipster to retiree, and I can't see much of a trend by hours as to when this will be. pub needs lines, signs, and a vent system to remove whatever that acrid puke that some of the regulars are smoking. The place had a small handful of older locals- but when I say older I mean 40s to 80s. I'm serious, the older southern gentleman at my table kept buying me and my friend rounds and I sat next to little old May, an 84 years young local with a PBR in hand. She does old school country karaoke, drives a Tahoe, and I can only hope I'm that spry at that age. Around 10pm the crowd started to shift from older locals to the college crowd and met a lot of nice grad students from all the surrounding colleges. The place was packed and the karaoke line up was booked. Such a nice contrast to some of the touristy bars on Broadway. read more

We were told this place is a staple of Nashville and that we had to check it out. Since I love Christmas, I was like of course! We arrive at a trailer with a Santa painted on the fence. Walk inside to a run down bar and a plastic Santa. The only perk is that they had $2 PBRs...Cannot beat that price. After a few of those, we decided to sing some Karaoke, as any person who has had a couple would. We waited and finally when it was our turn we got up there and said Hell Yah or something. Instantly, we got kicked out because we swore and apparently it's the #1 rule, don't swear on the Karaoke bar. They gave no warning just told us to get out. I hopped out of the car and went charging in like a kid on Christmas morning. I was so excited and the place delivered. Miller Lites are $2, bottled water is free, yes free and Santa is bad ass. He was everything I thought he would be. The karaoke singers were amazing as usual, sigh, but thankfully they didn't boo (like the Lonnie's crowd) when we got up and sang our little out-of-tune hearts out. To start someone destroyed Otis Redding, then another person sang the Temptations and to top it off Santa got up and hammered one home. It was magical. So for the logistics it is in fact located in a double-wide. The outside has some sweet graffiti giving it that extra charm. The bathrooms are incredibly clean, it's cash only, the staff, yes they have one, super nice and overall a pretty clean dive bar. Now to the one downside, it is smoky as a mother in there!!! Gah, I don't know guys. I'm so torn. There are things that are amazing about Santa's: - The karaoke is definitely some of the most diverse and amazing that I've ever seen in Nashville, and that bar is high for being in Music City! - Drinks are CHEAP (but you must like beer and have cash) - Santa is awesome and amazing to talk to while he bounces the front door and you are gasping for fresh air on the patio after being engulfed in smoke. So the bad: - The smoke is horrendous. It's a double-wide trailer with no ventilation - The bar is not tall-people friendly and caused some claustrophobia in our group (see comment above) - It's difficult to get a cab or Uber/Lyft to get back due to it being a stand alone establishment away from other bars and nightlife. Santa's is a unique experience and I could see it being fun for tourists new to the area and wanting something unique. For me it was nice to say that I've done it once but can't say I'm chomping at the bit to go back. read more

This ain't no single wide dive bar. This here is a double wide and, as a result, it is more luxurious than you're probably thinking when you hear of a bar in a trailer. The regulars here range in age from about 60-90 but you have the occasional Vanderbilt kids who have wandered down the road. This is a karaoke bar and not just "they have karaoke available" but "somebody will be on stage singing the entire time". Santa is extremely friendly and he's actually a pretty decent singer. Bring cash, grab a bottle of beer at the counter and grab a table. One thing of note, I was hoping to smoke some cigars here. I always ask in advance since smoking establishments don't always equal cigar smoking; Santa says the ladies aren't big fans of cigars so they'll have to stay outside. Smoke your cigarettes away, though! They just expanded their hours so you can hit the sauce as early as 1pm now. Santa still gets there around 7pm so choose your priorities in life and make the most of it. Santa's Pub is must-see for anybody visiting Nashville. You most likely can't drink your way through a $20 bill and still get home but it is cash only so at least bring one of those with you. read more
