This place was amazing!!! It is small and easy to miss, but so worth looking for!! We were here for breakfast, but we want to come back for Greek food for lunch sometime soon!!! We sat at the bar because it was packed, but it was great! We got to talk to the waitresses who were all over the top helpful and accommodating! The coffee refills were great, and everyone enjoyed all of their food! We ordered goetta, because we were on the west side of Cincinnati... and it was amazing! 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!!! read more

I meant to review this restaurant right after I ate here and it's a testament to their waffles that I'm still thinking about them after a couple of weeks. I had the waffles covered in strawberries and whipped cream. I loved the simplicity of it. Don't get me wrong, I love overly complicated and perfectly curated recipes, but these waffles were just easy and harkened to a time in my childhood when all meals were just as simple. I guess they appealed to my nostalgia, but they were also just damn tasty! I tried a bite of the gyro pizza too and it was delicious. I can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. read more

Love Santorini. It is definitely a quintessential diner with quintessential diner food done well. We typically order take out - deluxe burger, onion rings, gyro, and pancakes for the kids. Always ready in 20 minutes and delicious. Perfect when you don't feel like making 8 PB&J sandwiches (or are nursing a hangover). Pizza is also great! Highly recommend. read more

Discovered this place a few years ago and have been a fairly regular ever since. For a while we did a weekly Sunday breakfast with Dad, but that hasn't been for a little while. None the less, I get here at least once a month, often more. They know me, for sure. The breakfast is good food, at a great price. While the selection seems superficially basic - eggs, meat, etc - there are some awesome combinations. I love muffin sandwiches, myself. Coffee cups are usually kept full, and while it can get a bit packed for breakfast, it's not usually to the point of being unable to find a seat or feeling like service is neglecting you. Dinner is good as well- again, reasonably priced, interesting options. I love the gyros myself, and they have good fries and onion rings. There is a bit of disparity in the quality of the food- at least one cook back there is /really/ good and everything is fantastic those nights, and another is only okay. Never bad enough to put me off coming back! Definitely a family owned business and a local favorite. Big fan. read more

Breakfast in Cheviot.. the Greek way! The family and I enjoyed a nice classic breakfast this morning at 8am when they opened. Eggs, bacon and pancakes were today's items for us and they we're great. They do give you the option to eat any item at any time so if your in the mood for a 3-way at 8am... you got it! The food was a little slow coming and the omelettes don't come with potatoes, which is odd but just know that before you order. Also, they don't butter your toast so make sure to ask for butter. BLTs are also very good! We will be back to try out the Greek pizza read more

Don't get mislead by outside look, it's an old diner style place with incredible food. My husband ordered French toast and they were heaven! I ordered greek salad and greek pizza (I am a sucker for Greek food) and the salad was super fresh and yum and pizza was freshly made. The only drawback is that it takes long time to make pizza during peak hours but the wait was totally worth it. The staff is very friendly inspite of it being the rush hour. I will keep coming here often especially to try their lunch menu. read more

It's rare that I find myself on the Westside so when my in-laws asked us to pick someplace by their house we had no idea where to go. Luckily we came across Santorini on Yelp! The diner was smaller than I had expected. I imagine the same wait would be crazy on the weekends for breakfast, but for dinner there weren't very many people. The menu is pretty big and they offer everything from all day breakfast to pizza to Greek food! I honestly thought there was a typo on their menu because the burgers are under $3! (WHAT?!) I got a chicken finger pita and it was great! My husband had the chili and really liked it. It as similar to what you'd expect in Cincinnati, but with a little less sweetness. My in-laws had grilled fish and an open-faced beef sandwich which my mother in law could not stop raving about! I am looking forward to going back! A tried and true diner with a Greek flair. It really is a great restaurant situated on the West Side. The menu boasts breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items, but everything is served all the time, just as a diner should. On this particular visit, I went classic with a twist. I started with the dolmades (stuffed graped leaves). GUYS! They serve them warm, which I love, and they are divine. 4 large ones on a plate dripping with oil-you cannot go wrong. I then got a grilled cheese with tomato and the onion rings with a side of tzatziki sauce. The grilled cheese was classic American and exactly what I wanted. The onion rings are crispy fried and large, while the tzatziki sauce was out of this world tasty. The husband got a classic gyro and was also pleased. Total it was a 14 dollar meal. Taste Cincinnati's west side. This is THE best place to eat when in the far west. First, it's right in the heart of Cheviot. A decent neighbor right on the border of Cincinnati. No worries about where you are going. There's street parking right in front generally, or a lot around the corner. Once inside, you'll find booths around the dining room, a few 4 seat tables, and the lunch counter stools. The wait staff is ALWAYS friendly, and you'll see they know the regulars very well. Service is prompt, and helpful-they won't hesitate to make a suggestion if you ask. Now the food...classic American dishes, Authentic Greek, whatever...its always great. I like the Gyro wrap or classic gyro. The Mediterranean Pizza is a must try if your willing. Everything is made fresh and never disappoints. Drink the coffee...best house coffee in the area. Love it. I've lived on the west side of the 'nati for 25 years but somehow this Greek family diner never raised its hand high enough for me to stop until I happened to be hungry and pressed for time one day. Everything exceeded my expectations; the environment was clean and pristine, the staff friendly and attentive, the ingredients fresh, and the prices extremely reasonable. It's a very well-run establishment. The chili doesn't wow me; it lacks the love-it-or-hate-it, eastern Mediterranean spicing that defines the Cincinnati version of the dish. I was excited to try this place based on the great reviews. It is a comfortable diner, and service is excellent. We had two toddlers with us, and they got the grilled cheese out quickly so the toddlers didn't have to sit there hungry and causing trouble. I tried the gyro omelette, which was okay. I thought the gyro meat was nice and flavorful, but I don't think I'd order it again. I love gyro though so I love that they have many gyro with a twist options on the menu. It is very affordable. The food was probably only 3 stars for me, but the service was great so they are bumped up to a 4! read more

Based on all the amazing reviews I was expecting more. It's just ok. The gyro omelet was disappointing, it wasn't really an omelet- the egg was thin, overcooked (brown), and very loosely wrapped around the gyro meat and tomatoes, which were cold. The blueberry pancakes were not good- the pancake itself had no flavor at all without a bite of blueberry, and they were tough. I was starving, so I ate the whole thing and instantly had pancake remorse. It wasn't worth it. The best thing was the loaded home fries with cheese, mushrooms, onions, and peppers. Yum. Goetta and fried eggs were fine. The service was great, everyone was friendly and prompt. Would try again, with different order. read more

I'm going to be honest. I don't want to tell you about this place. I want to keep it to myself so that I never have to wait because I will for sure be coming back regularly. K and I went I at 10pm on a Saturday for breakfast and we were in for such a treat. Santorini is a diner and appears as such, aside from the Greek landscapes on the walls. The menu offered traditional American breakfast and also multiple options with a Greek twist. I got a breakfast sandwich, K got the gyro omelet (+feta) and we shared chocolate chip pancakes. The gyro omelet was AMAZING. I can't wait to go back and get another one and an actual gyro and everything else gyro. My breakfast sandwich was also great, at another restaurant it would have been the star but it was at a disadvantage since the gyro omelet was present. On top of the amazing food the prices are SO reasonable, partially because sides are a la carte, and the service was great. The place was busy but there were open tables the whole time we were there. I've always wanted to go to Santorini, Greece, but for now Santorini in Cheviot will do the trick. read more

A TRUE diner in every sense of the word. We visited this little gem last Saturday as part of our Yelp Cincy breakfast Club adventure. I had no idea what to expect, especially with it being smack dab in the middle of Cheviot. We were greeted by the most wonderful woman who waited patiently for our entire party to arrive. She was friendly and always had our coffee filled to the brim! When our party arrive we all ordered Omelets. Three had the gryo omelet everyone raves about and two of us had the western. Everyone seemed to love the gryo. I tasted it and the sauce was a bit too sweet for me. The western omelte was just OK. I kind of wish I would've just ordered the standard breakfast, a staple among greasy spoons like this. The atmosphere is charming and pleasant and the biz has been in the family for years. There was a younger girl checking us out at the counter and she even talked us into some home made baklava. Oh, and my omelet was only $5 bucks. Seriously cheap eats here people. A wonderful family establishment. I would give the food 3 stars, but the service was phenomenal. They treated us like we were sitting at their kitchen table. read more

You could tell that some people were regulars as the server knew their orders. The menu is huge! I could go here everyday for three weeks and not exhaust all of the tasty things I'd like to get. We had a turkey burger and the Mt. Olympus burger--with Greek fries. Burgers werent anything special but the toppings on them were freshly cut and the tomato slices huge! It felt like each dish was made with love. Very impressed with the prices,too. A lot of food for a very good price. Next trip will be soon. The tiropitas are my favorite thing on the menu and I order them every time. My wife's favorite is the pizza. Every thing my wife and I have tried is delicious!
