Great slice for a great price !! Been on my list to visit and glad we did we love pizza and this place didn't disappoint. They even use cup n char pepperoni and the slice was only $4.15 . It is a walk up window and only a bench to sit on out front . The staff was friendly and we will be back .

In one word? Perfection. They offer whole pizzas and slices. While they have a variety of whole pies you can order their slices are only pepperoni and cheese. I ordered one of each and a side of ranch. They have the best ranch but their pizza didn't need a drop of it. Really thin crust pizza with an absolute perfect cook on the bottom. Flavor wise they were both a hit and I would get either one again. Really reasonably priced too at $3.95/4.15 a slice. Worker was super nice and you can really tell they care about the customer experience. I fully plan to be back to try some of their whole pizza options

I randomly saw santos on a Thursday around lunch time and the bright colors caught my eye. I parked by a near parking structure with free parking for 1hr. I ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza, order came out fast. The pizza was delicious, crust was good, the pepperoni was crispy. $4.15 for a slice of pizza was cool, The lunch special prices were also great, $5 for a slice of pizza and soda. I really want to try a whole pizza next time.

Pepperoni and cheese pizza. We ate it before we found a place to put it down to take a photo.

Visited during their one year anniversary after all the great reviews and it was just ok. The pizza dough was pretty great but they overdid it with the cornmeal and it made the pizza flat and gritty textured. Ordered a pepperoni and a cheese pizza that we ate pretty quickly in the hot sun. They only have full sugar sodas, no diet or zeros. Service was fast and easy. You order at a window and eat on the sunny side of the street. They have some standing under shade.

Pizza was absolutely delicious, it's so perfectly crispy and flavorful. I wish I could try their specialty pizza in slices but only cheese and pepperoni are sold in slices. It's a good place to try for the experience, I'd definitely be in trouble if I live near santos cuz all my money be going here haha Service was quick and the staff was friendly

Never fails, not sure how many times I've been here & I always forget to check-in on yelp but I crave this pizza so much and I'm glad they started doing the lunch specials as well as the slice of the day. Stop by and grab a slice or even a whole pie, you won't be disappointed

NY style 18" deluxe cheese--light cheese, extra sauce and absolutely delicious!

I am a FAN! Everything I have eaten in this area has been very good but this place takes the pie! It has been years since I had good pizza! This is my favorite in recent memory....crust was nice and thin, soft with a satisfying crisp, sauce was full of flavor, we ordered light cheese, which is how we like it... The place itself is pretty modest--a window next to a door painted with an image of dripping cheese. It's a very cool vibe while being very simple. There's no outdoor seating, which I wish they did have but the pizza is worth the 20 minute wait.

I saw this spot pop up on my IG and bookmarked it immediately. After a long, exhausting moving day, my husband and I didn't feel like going out for Valentine's Day, so we decided to do takeout instead--and I finally remembered this pizza place I'd been wanting to try. I ordered online and got half Rocket 88 and half Gasser. The place itself is a small takeout spot, but my pizza was ready right on time, and the guy who helped me was super nice and helpful. The pizza was honestly one of the best New York-style pizzas I've had in Orange County. Super thin, but the crust was still fluffy and amazing. I even reheated it the next day and it was just as good. 10/10--would definitely come back to try more flavors.

Best of both worlds | Half Hirohata (L), half Supreme De Luxe (R) w/ hot honey

I think I just found my favorite local pizza spot! On a Saturday night, I was craving pizza and this was one of the few places open late (2am!), so we decided to give it a try. We called ahead and they told us it would be ready in 20 minutes, which was gave us enough time to drive over and find parking. Downtown Santa Ana can be a little tricky to find parking with a lot of people going to bars and limited street parking, but we managed. The spot itself is truly a hole in the wall with just a walk-up window to order and pick up your pizza. The staff was very friendly and even thanked us for calling ahead. We ordered half Supreme De Luxe and half Hirohata with hot honey on top. The worker mentioned those were their most popular. To our surprise, it was HUGE! The pieces were like Costco slices. I didn't realize it was a large pizza, which definitely justified the $39 price tag. It was loaded with toppings, and I appreciated that the meats weren't overly salty or spicy. The thin-cut sausage and crisp pepperoni added crunchy texture, and the crust was just right by being not too thin and not too thick. The hot honey brought everything together with just the right balance of sweet and spicy. Specifically, the Hirohata proved that pineapple absolutely belongs on pizza. The sweet pineapple paired perfectly with the heat from the jalapeños. It had a totally different flavor profile from the Supreme, which was equally as delicious. Honestly, it was so good I struggled to stop eating, and ended up eating more than I planned. It's THE spot for delicious takeout pizza or a late-night bite while bar hopping. I'll definitely be back to try more!

NOTE: Ate outside the order window on 10/4/25. There's not really any seating but you can sit on a bench out front if it's available. Otherwise just stand and eat! Parking can be tricky if it's on the weekend, as DTSA is lively. Super late hours (2am on Fri and Sat) Let's start with some credentials. I'm a pizza enthusiast, but not necessarily a connoisseur. I also spent my winter and summer breaks in New York as I was growing up, if that means anything. I've had L'indistrie (both locations, and yes, the original one in Brooklyn is better), but honestly I prefer a slice from Paulie Gee's in Greenpoint. For anyone who isn't familiar, one of Paulie Gee's specialties is the Hellboy, which I think started off the trend of putting Mike's Hot Honey on pepperoni pizza. It's such a simple addition, but a revolutionary one for your tastebuds! It's gotta have the right balance of sauce, cheese, and pepperoni in every bite. And it should have a slight crunch, not be super droopy, and fold easily using one hand. That's what I think of when I think of an ideal slice for me. Anyway, I have been searching far and wide for a slice that sparks that level of joy in me. I actually really loved Shin's Pizza in Cypress Park, but they closed :( Then there are a few I've yet to try, such as Secret Pizza, Weirdoughs, and Wallflour Pizza. But I've had Appolonia, Esco's, Danny Boy's... all good slices! But there was always something missing. I had no idea that I'd have my pizza ratatouille moment in Downtown Santa Ana, of all places, but it happened. Super friendly staff, and the slices are perfectly heated. I had to wait a while before eating mine, otherwise I'd burn my mouth and tongue! But yes, it was bliss upon first bite. Tomato sauce, pepperoni with crispy edges, the cheese, the crust, and the hot honey drizzle were like a symphony reaching its crescendo in my mouth. Best of all? Reasonable prices. 18 inch slice for $5 ($4 if you don't want hot honey). This is THE spot to beat and would easily be a popular slice in New York.

I ate a whole half of pizza. Unbelievable couldn't stop would do it again. #PhenomenalPizza.

Very friendly faces! Pizza is delicious, not thin crust but not overly doughy either! There is no seating as it's a walk up only, but you will have a fresh pizza in 15 minutes!

    Joey G.

Saw this on instagram. Had to give it a go. Right out the gates my new favorite pizza joint in santa ana! Talk about freshness the crust was just the right thickness sauce not over powering. Toppings perfectly balanced. We ordered the Hawaiian which i would never order but today I took one for the team. Added my own touches of Canadian bacon and bacon pieces. I am officially a LIKER! Well done Santos!

Chewy was our pleasant waiter, very friendly and attentive. Fresh cold water when we sat down and a nice short easy menu to peruse and decide from. No frills, no uneasy decisions. I'm guessing every table gets the Caesar salad, which was a botttomless pile of fresh lettuce, tons of delicately grated smoothe Parmesan cheese, delicate crumbles of breadcrumbs, with an absolutely decadent Caesar dressing - pleasantly spread throughout the whole entire plate of goodness. Next time I will try the fresh loaf of bread sliced thick with a bowl of cherry tomatoes. Whoa that looked great. Every plate that walked by us whispered 'try me' next time!! Saved the salami Calabrese pizza for home directions on the box which provided the most perfect texture for a reheated pizza we've ever had. Delightful! The pizza. The crust.
