I have been coming to Saraghina for years and love it. I was very pleased when they opened the bakery. Their breads and other products are great. This review is only based on service. I own 2 bar/restaurants in Brooklyn and if I had seen one of my patrons treated the way I was today, I would have fired the employee on the spot. Came in on Thursday around 1pm, one of the barista (guy) was preparing a coffee for the customer in front of me, while the other was texting on phone. Once she seemed to no longer be interested in texting she came over to take my order. I got a baguette and 2 croissants, $9.50. Not complaining, I know the prices and I chose to purchase them. She wrapped bread, and got croissants, put them on counter where I could not reach them, took my $$$ and gave my change back. Turned her back and went back to texting. I had to ask the other polite barista to hand over and place articles in a bag. If you are going to charge top $$$ for products your customer service should be on par with prices. I'm not a very demanding patron, but I won't be back to order anything from that particular employee. Got home, and on top of bad service she gave me wrong croissants. Why does it seem that incompetency and bad attitude seem to go hand in hand. read more

I WANT TO LOVE THIS PLACE. If only because of my love for pastries and the convenient location. HOWEVER, I just have such a bad impression of the little stuck up people that work there. I'm only referring to my most recent visit there with one snotty man and woman... (next time I'll get names). I don't necessarily need small talk, but one word answers to my question about the items gives me the impression of "umm, help yourself and get out of my face." I've lived in this neighborhood for more than a decade, I have a masters degree, I've probably lived and traveled to more countries than those silly people, but yet their hipster smug faces seem to think they are better than the majority local clientele. I don't need to throw my resume and accomplishments in your face just so I can pick up some baked goods. I have been buying my bread here on a regular basis since I moved to the neighborhood. It's delicious but I won't be coming back since the prices have gotten out of control lately. One year ago a small loaf of the bread was $4,50. Within a few month they almost doubled the price for the exact same product (size) to now $7,00. It's ridiculous. You just lost a regular! read more

This place is entirely to EXPENSIVE and there is no variety. Who in the WORLD told them it's OK to charge $3 for a small slice of Focaccia. I can never get over why this space is even in business. I know the owner wanted a bakery, fortunately the restaurant and bar support it. If your crazy enough to buy bread here your better than me. You can go to Ft. I have always loved this bakery. It is one of the hearts of the neighborhood and it managed to survive the pandemic by quickly pivoting to providing provisions. But something is going on here now and I am not quite sure it is for the better. Perhaps the bakery has a new manager? The whole environment is much more uptight and the selection of baked goods are suffering. The new chocolate chip cookie is boring and bland. I was intrigued when an ingredient was listed as sourdough but I will never try it again. The scone and sticky buns are gone, the focaccia seems to only be the plain kind, the offerings have become sparse and kind of soulless. It breaks my heart to write this, I love this place, but even the hightop tables and stools out front are a terrible idea, they lack any of the Saraghina's character and are just generic. I hope the owner will take note of this feedback and actually try and turn this around. read more

We get bread from Saraghina about every other week. They turned me on to the Filone: a tasty and small crumb sourdough and that's our go-to now. They bake everything right in the store and it's always super fresh and fantastic. They have coffee, fresh pasta, sauce making materials, cheese, eggs, maple syrup and tons of other good stuff. They've been a great addition to the neighborhood the past few years and a perfect compliment to their awesome restaurant next door. read more

With COVID, we've had to put a pause on date nights at our favorite pizza joint; recently, however, while searching for pastries I found out that Saraghina's has a bakery! And boy let me say, you can't stop once you start going. The first time we went, we got croissants, chocolate croissants, cinnamon rolls, and hazelnut cookies (we definitely went a little crazier than anticipated). The first three varieties were absolutely fresh and delicious. We gave the hazelnut cookie a shot after reading reviews but it just wasn't for us. Ever since that fateful first day, the bf has been religiously going 1-2 times a week to load up on the cinnamon rolls and I doubt he'll be stopping any time soon. They are finger licking good, still very moist and soft after a few days, and not too sweet. My only "complaint" is that this place will burn a hole in your pocket from all the delightfully tempting treats but it hasn't stopped us from going back. Be warned, you will get addicted! read more

Saraghina Bakery has become part of my morning routine. Their croissants and cornetti are amazing, and the sticky buns to die for! Their breads are made with organic flours and everything is made right there on the premises. You can actually watch the bakers make the bread through the glass door. I wish they had more seating, though (only a couple benches inside and outside). Their coffee is good too. Staff is usually very friendly, but it can get a little chaotic when it's busy. read more

This place has amazing breads and other baked goods. I had a life changing cranberry rosemary muffin here one time. I just wish they would bake some more bread. By the time my partner and I are out of work around 6:30 they have almost always run out and yet their hours are until 8pm. You're a bakery, make some bread. It's flour, yeast and water. It costs virtually nothing to make a few extra loaves, especially when you sell them for up to $10 each. Then if you have leftovers you can use the extra for crostini or panzanella in your adjacent restaurant. Or donate them to a worthy organization and put up a little sign letting us bougie customers know how generous you are, which will no doubt help your social cred. Just a suggestion if you want some more dollars. read more
