Loved the babka so much that I ordered two to go.

IT IS STILL SO GOOD! And literally Uber Eats delivers! I ordered yesterday and stopped by last month as I was helping a friend move in. Newly explored faves include the rugelach, savory danishes (I am a bad customer and don't know the names fully). Coffee slush. Chocolate chip cookies. Should I go on? This place is literally one of my favorites. This entire bakery display is EYE CANDY.

Got here too late only a few items left. Got about five kinda of savory pastries. All were super good, unique and flavorful! The texture of the pastries were also nice and soft. Favorite was the mushroom burek and the sweet potato/red pepper pastry. Definitely need to come back earlier in the day for more yummy carbs!

Aw man this place had me at first. Great ambiance, GOOD COFFEE, like seriously that first sip of just a oat milk latte had me on the verge of dopamine rich tears. Pastries? YUM. PRICE RANGE? Bro. Come on. I hate when everything on the menu is more than 10 dollars. Where is the range. It's a coffee shop? Not even oats/yogurt as a snack. They shared that their prices would be increasing due to market price increases. I get it. But incomes aren't increasing so.... Yeah. Wasn't a fan of the food menu. Pastries menu was decently priced. Will probably return though. Great coffee and loved the energy. And laptop friendly with outlets

Hidden gem in Crown Heights. Pastries are delicious and so is the Yaffa breakfast. The place is unassuming but the food is very high level.

Prices are high, only the drinks are listed with price but nothing on the pastries. So I was surprised when i was paying already. Then there is no bathroom! I ordered coffee and of course it would make me want to go to pee , but no, they said they cannot let me use it. I would understand if this is just a to go cafe but there are plenty of seats! Not coming back. The cashier person is not friendly at all. I seldom write poor reviews but this one is sadly one of them.

This place was so cute, the staff were so friendly and the food delish! I was there around 10:30ish and bakery items were coming out as they were being baked fresh! What more could you ask for. I had the american BF which was a piece of sourdough with cream cheese, lox, veggies and an egg. Yum! I also shared the Jaffe BF with my friend which included a few pieces of bread, 10 dips (different cheese, olives, pickles) an egg cooked any style and a salad. Nice and fresh. They have a great selection of drinks/coffee and also orange juice. I didn't drink anything but everyone around was getting drinks. Staff are all super sweet! Can't wait to come back and try more things! Oh and the space is great. Good number of tables and chairs to dine in. Check it out!!

Fresh pastries, great coffee, really really nice vibes, friendly staff, great service.

The avocado toast was half an avocado, not even sliced dumped onto a hoagie roll.

The food at this restaurant is nothing like in the photos, or even as described on the menu. We ordered two main dishes, one was supposed to be sabich on frena bread. Instead it was a piece of lettuce, some chummus and a slice of eggplant slapped on a hoagie roll. The avocado toast which was also supposed to be on frena bread, was half an avocado, again dumped on a hoagie roll. As you can see in the photos, the food was a total misrepresentation, unappealing, and not what we ordered. They also forgot to send one item. The rugeleh was good, but beyond that it was a total disappointment.

The restaurant itself has a modern, chic décor with a lively but moderate noise level. It strikes a great balance between energetic and intimate, making it an excellent spot for a romantic date night if that's what you're looking for. Our server, Sam, absolutely made the experience. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, answered all of our questions with confidence, and did an amazing job matching our preferences with the perfect food and drink recommendations. Her service was exceptional from beginning to end. We started with the pita and hummus, and you could immediately tell everything was made from scratch. The pita was warm and fresh, the hummus was incredibly smooth and flavorful, and you could truly see and taste the quality. For dinner, we had the burger with the house chips. Both were excellent, and I especially loved the herb mayonnaise that came with the chips. I didn't even realize it was mayonnaise at first because it was so fresh and flavorful! We also shared the Caesar salad, which was delicious. The next morning, we came back for breakfast and ordered the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. It was absolutely decadent and the perfect way to start the day. Between the outstanding food, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service, this restaurant exceeded every expectation. A huge shoutout to Sam for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to come back the next time we're in the area to explore more of the menu and, hopefully, have Sam as our server again!

The brunch menu has a lot of delicious looking options, so my friend and I shared several dishes. We had the mushroom hummus, pistachio sticky bun, kale salad, and Israeli breakfast all to share. Service was quick and the staff were all friendly and attentive. I cannot wait to come back for again brunch and to try their dinner menu!

BIG BREAKFAST - 18 This spread came with choice of eggs (scrambled or sunny side), bacon, crispy potatoes, baked beans, toasted rye, and a small side of yogurt with granola. Overall, this was a bit of a hit-or-miss. The scrambled egg tasted pretty basic, but I did love the crispy edge of the sunny side. The bacon was way too crispy and hard, which I didn't like, so I let my friend enjoy my portion. The potatoes were definitely the highlight with buttery soft interior, and crispy exterior that was seasoned with salt and herbs. On the downside, the baked beans were too sweet for my taste, and the toasted rye was stale and hard. The yogurt was incredibly rich, so the small portion of it was perfect. While this was a large spread of food, I don't think I would order it again. I did notice the Danish toast while I browsed the menu, but I'll save it for a future visit if I do decide to dine-in!

I'd definitely get that again but there are also so many other items on the menu I'm excited to try. The cardamom bun fell flat though. It was dry and a bit stale.. so would pass on it next time but maybe try some of their other baked goods. I went back for a weekday lunch recently and the food and atmosphere both hold up fabulously, so it makes sense why they've remained a brunch mainstay at both their East Village and Williamsburg locations. I enjoy that they serve their hot moroccan tea in a glass as is traditional, so you can see all the fresh mint leaves in your cup. I had tea like this multiple times a day during my trip to Morocco a few years back so sipping on this here took me back in time. I ordered a short stack of their blueberry pancakes which were very fluffy and delicious. They're not the kind of pancake with crispy edges, which are my preferred kind of pancake but I still found them satisfying. The moroccan eggs, which are two poached eggs in spicy stewed tomatoes and served with zahar pita is a delight. The pita is very fluffy and the zahatar adds such a nice fragrant spice to the bread. They used to serve this with potatoes but now those come at an additional charge but are well worth getting. The Williamsburg location also has pretty good wifi and they let me work on my laptop through my brief stay there. Kitchen was speedy too.
