Yay for a pub that has a great beer selection and plenty of vegetarian options! They go a step further and even have vegan options, so there really is something for everything. Meat eaters? They have you, too. We've tried a variety of options here, and so far my very favorite is the Thai rice bowl. I also have enjoyed their flatbreads, and the tacos weren't bad either. I like that they can provide a range of different styles of foods and do them all fairly well. That isn't necessarily easy. Plus, I am a huge fan of happy hour during the day on the weekends. My service here was a real bummer. Took an hour to get our food, which was only three salads and a pizza. The pizza came back not as a flatbread as described, tasted like a kid's pizza. I brought up the issue with how long it took and the waitress did apologize. People after us we're coming in and out, but for some reason my friends and I were being neglected. I think she forgot our order, but when I asked she said she didn't. I'm not sure what happened here, just very disappointing especially since I suggested the place to my friends. Fortunately the waitress did take care of our meal at the end, so I am putting three stars instead of the one I was going to do. read more

This is a great place in Spokane to grab a delicious weekday lunch or go for happy hour during the week. The food is good and the prices are very reasonable! I've had the Saranac burger, the Mac and cheese, and the flatbread. I highly recommend the burger and the Mac and cheese. The flatbread was fine, but nothing spectacular. They always have great beers on tap. I can always find something I want. The staff is pleasant, efficient, and accommodating. This is a great local restaurant turning out quality food. Very close to EWU campus and solid bar food. The restaurant is open with bar, high top tables and regular tables. Sports bar for sure. Good variety of 12 on tap with jack honey (new for them). They offer a great deal of vegan and veggie options. The vegan Mac wasn't too bad. They are definitely missing a dash more of salt and pepper. I had the Kalua pork sandwich which was good... but oddly my favs were the spinach salad and homemade chips. The bartender is a cute funny dude that absolutely pays attention. Didn't wait to long to be addressed, strong drinks poured and food delivered. You can tell this is a neighborhood hang out where people come and join others for all night. Pretty good food! I had the caprese chicken sandwich without the top bun and a small spinach salad. The bartender was very accommodating to my order and got it right. Atmosphere was also pretty good. I really liked this place! The Thai rice bowl was amazing, and what the best part was that the coconut rice wasn't too sweet. I rolled the dice on it because I hate sugary meat, and I was pleased with it. It's also pretty spicy - I love spicy food, but it was was just spicier than I would have expected. Sat in the bar. They are great. Shared the Mac (with bacon!) and the meat loaf. The mac is soooo creamy and delicious! Best I've had in a while. Not crusty or too thick. The bacon addition is a must. The meat loaf was very flavorful! Surprisingly so. Top it off with a local craft beer and BOOM! A delicious meal in a cute restaurant that has a sweet outdoor patio (for when it's actually warm ). This was an easy walk from the conference center. I was pleased that there were plenty of seats available for lunch, and the server was fantastic. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. I ordered a small house salad (delicious!) and a fig and prosciutto flatbread. The flatbread was thin but full pizza size! My goodness, but it was delicious. I love that combination of melted cheese, fig, and balsamic. I couldn't eat the whole thing but I made a valiant effort. My friend had the mac and cheese and seemed to like it pretty well, too. We came to Spokane just for two days and this place had really good reviews and vegan options so give it a try. I was really excited to try the pretzel with vegan cheese, along with the vegan mac & cheese. The pretzel was really good and the mustard was also very flavorful. The vegan cheese was good although oddly enough it kind of had a flavor of ham which is weird. The vegan mac & cheese was OK for vegan cheese. I only wanted a couple bites and it was quite a big dish, and would never order it as just a meal. I had also ordered the Thai peanut dish that had tofu, coconut rice, bell peppers and peanuts. That this was really good and I would definitely recommend it. My partner got the veggie yaki soba which was just OK. Love to come here for Sunday happy hour all day long. This is a wonderful, homey pub with great food selection and beers. Their happy hour menu has a range of cheap and delicious items. I like their polenta dish, the mac n' cheese, their pretzels and flatbread. The hubs and I also hit up their dinner hour for date night and enjoy the burger and a couple of beers. Nice atmosphere. It almost feels like SE PDX with all the youngsters here. On a Friday night it's chatty, loud, and has a great vibe. I had the kahlua pork sandwich. It was tender but too salty. Boy had the cheeseburger, and true to his desire they made it rare. The home made chips were just a bit burnt though. The Mac and cheese tasted like Kraft according to my wife. I don't care because Mac and cheese is baby food anyway, but I know some like it. Our waitress was wonderful. She was on her game, efficient, and friendly. The bartender is learning, and the list of cocktails looks good. I didn't try any of them, but several look tempting. Wow I totally had an amazing lunch here! I ordered the Thai Rice Bowl: with the coconut rice and grilled chicken. The peanut sauce blends really well with the coconut flavored rice, while the veggies added great texture and taste. The chicken was grilled well, a little char just like I like it. It's a very well put together dish! I threw some sirriachia sauce on there at the servers advice! I can't see anyone not liking this dish. The used to be our favorite place in town ! Came in today and we probably won't be coming back. the server not know they had gluten free buns so I had to correct her bc I get them there often. Not a huge deal it's a little weird. Then, when we tried to upgrade our fries to the truffle fries she said it wasn't allowed. But we have come here multiple times over the past year and got them no problem; so that was a lil weird. When we got our food my boyfriends parmesan sandwich has raw chicken in it. We had our Christmas dinner there for our company there were only 12 of us the salads were very good but the salmon was actually crispy and it should've been cooked properly. I don't know what happened with the banana pudding but they put a salted cookie in the bottom which made the taste unbearable.
