He is a proffesional. He will make suggestions, answer questions and if needed he will ask the kitchen about any diner's concerns. Leah also came by to see how we were doing. Leah is always looking around making sure the dining area is clean, and that diner's have all the appropriate flat and glassware. She is fastidious that everything should be right and in their place. The food was excellent!!! The food is delicious and unpretenious. The Chef offered a brunch menu that looked fantastic. If I hadn't snacked before going to brunch, I would have definitely gone that route. I had the frittata with the breakfast potatoes and it was delicious. I really appreciate that the food is properly seasoned and that the flavors are not covered up by a overpowering sauces. The portions are fair and there is real value for money. The food we ordered was decent but there were just too many flaws for me to give it a higher rating at this price point. The beef tartare was flavorful but cut large; it should be a very fine cube. The fried chicken's breading was barely adhered and falling off, and it was suffering from a serious dryness problem that would have been solved by more sauce/vegetables. The "hash" on my plate had approximately 3 pieces of pepper/onion and the rest was quite large chunks of potato. I'm told the eggs Chesapeake were pretty good.
