I've had the same amazing hairstylists, Mercedes and Sara (the owner), for years--at this point, they feel like family. From the moment you walk in, this salon welcomes you with open arms and ensures you leave feeling confident and satisfied with your style. I just got a fresh haircut to kick off my semester, and--no surprise--I absolutely love it! One thing I've noticed recently is how much the salon has stepped up its game, especially online and with customer interactions. I used to go here a few years ago, but left since my normal hairdresser left. Let me start off by saying i would never come here again because of the owner, she calls herself Sarah-- Sarine is her real name I assume. She would always have an attitude, and a serious face no matter how many times she saw me. What made it worse is that she would speak in Spanish, a language I know with her employees to bump up prices or bluntly insult customers. Maybe she didn't assume I spoke Spanish because I am not Latina, but still its common courtesy to be respectful and keep thoughts to yourself. Most of the customers did nothing wrong, they just declined her sale of products. She tries to sell her kismera line to everyone which is heat for people with hair loss, but not everyone falls in the same boat. They're over 60$+ each and every time, and she says the price is unbeatable. Amazon carries sole of these products cheaper. But anyways, aside from that I've seem her be so rude and nasty to her own workers. She watches them like a hawk and will give nasty faces when things do not go her way. She watchman's the cash register, she already has cameras by it so why act like it's under constant threat? I would never go back because of Sarah, she's very rude and unprofessional. She can cut hair great sure, but her salon is of no use to me due to this attitude and my hairdresser leaving. I wont start with the nail techs , they're awful. Just got my hair done at this salon after desperately needing a haircut due to the pandemic. This place did not disappoint! Super cleanly and followed a lot of safety protocols that made me feel safe and that I was in good hands. On top of that, I'm super happy with the haircut that they gave me, as they were very knowledgeable in what suited my face shape. Will be coming back again! :) read more

I went to sarines for thr first time 3 weeks ago i.got a set of acrylic nails with gel and a gel pedicure it cost $100 No big deal since I did get a new set of nsils. I went back yesterday to get a fillin and pedicure with gel. Well when I was done the owner Sarah charged me Nearly $100 again only this time she threw in the remainder of the hand lotion she used on me .I think she was pissed because a customer came in complaining that her gel nail polish chipped in 2 days and she wanted Sarah to paint her nails over again the owner Sarah did not want to and told her to take her business someplace else but by the end of the conversation Sarah had one of the nail technicians re do her nails for free. I think sarah wanted to make up for this woman getting her nails done for free and she charge the s*** out of me You Can Tell She's All About The Money she always got a miserable face on and if you go look at her Instagram you could see where all the money goes on her tacky furniture. I usually don't leave bad reviews but I am so upset with the owner. I went in for a simple wash, cut and blow. The hair cut started off great after showing a picture of exactly what I wanted. If you can't duplicate a simple hair cut then tell me so you won't mess my hair up. Sara was the one who cut my hair and I don't think she knows what she's doing. She couldn't seem to shape my hair, then she cuts one side of my bangs so short and couldn't seem to fix it. I got so frustrated, I know it's only hair but it's MY HAIR. And I'm SURE she wouldn't WALK around like that had it been her own hair. So basically my side bangs are normal length on the left and the piece to the right is so short it looks like I got gum stuck in it and cut it. I had to tell her to stop bc at this point I was so frustrated bc she was trying so hard to blend it in. Her answer to this issue was that "it's a mistake and it will grow back in a few weeks"....I guess that made it ok....I am a paying costumer who came to a professional to get my hair done....never again....My hair looks like I blew it out myself....horrible part is that I have to have my hair tied at work which makes the short part stick out making it noticeable....I should have just went to my regular lady....I don't recommend her place....I'm so bothered that my hair is botched and it will take time to grow back...her place of business was full with people and I didn't want to make an issue but she needs to know her practices shouldn't be justified by stating it was an accident or mistake...don't use me to f*ck up on. read more

Save your money and avoid this place. This is not a one-time encounter, i have been going there for over 5 years just because she's on my way to my job. The owner Sarine is very unprofessional, tries to push products on you that you don't need. She would even go as far as lying that your hair is unhealthy for you to spend. Over the summer she tried to sell my sister and I "hair botox" which we saw no use for and if you say "no" she will shit talk you behind your back and even worst, she will spread rumors about you with other customers. She does not know how to run a business, she's not even good at what she is supposed to do. Another reason to avoid going there is she WILL OVERCHARGE you even for a wax she charges high prices. Her place always has hair on the floor and if you speak English...forget it. For yourself, you'll see she never has nail technicians because even her own employees hate working there, that's always a bad sign. read more
