The chicken teriyaki on white rice with veggies (and extra sauce) is the best item on the menu!

Reservations are highly recommended - it's on the smaller side. The menu has so many options and an amazing variety. One thing to note is this Japanese food is not like most others. Its focus is on homestyle, also fried/stir fried Japanese dishes. So do not expect Ramen or noodle soups. A couple things that are always ordered is the Kaarage, Takoyaki, Okonomiyaki (best in the city), yakisoba or udon, and gyoza. The staff is so sweet and the decorations remind me of Izakaya places in larger cities. They have a bar with cool cocktails and adorable bento boxes they sell during lunch hours throughout the week. Cannot recommend this place enough!!

The takoyaki has a crunchy outside and a good flavor (4/5), and the okonomiyaki is pretty filling (4/5); these were the best two. The yaki-udon with shrimp was ok (3/5) but definitely expensive for what it was and the quantity; they also don't add much shrimp, despite the up charge. The sake no shioyaki was below average for salmon (2/5) and very expensive for that amount they give you. Similarly, the onigiri is almost entirely rice if you add salmon (2/5). You order on a tablet, and they bring the food out. Service was ok (3/5); we had empty waters for a while. The restaurant is well-decorated, and you can see the chefs work, which gives it an ambiance somewhat like a hibachi place (4/5). Overall, I think most of the items are pretty expensive for what they are; they don't have the quality or quantity to justify the price.

This place was absolute fire!…read more They offer a unique All-You-Can-Eat experience, but it's not a buffet. Instead, you order fresh from a massive menu, and everything is made-to-order and brought straight to your table. (They also have an a la carte menu if AYCE isn't your thing!) The food quality here is truly top-notch, making it some of the best sushi around. The absolute show-stealers were: The Little Tokyo Roll The Jersey Shore Roll The Dynamite Roll To wash it down, we loved the Passion Mimosa-a delicious mix of passionfruit, prosecco, and orange juice. The resturaunt is modern and beautiful and the employees were awesome and friendly! Major bonus: My husband has a shellfish allergy, and they had a ton of safe, amazing options for him! Excellent food, great variety, and fantastic quality. We'll definitely be back! less

The server was friendly and very nice, but they got some of our orders wrong. I can imagine it's pretty hard to get every order correct since everyone orders a lot, and I didn't mind it because all the sushi was still delicious anyway. It is always lively, and I like the modern interior. You can't make a reservation unless you come with a group of 8 or more. I came here with 6 people and 2 babies, but they didn't count toward that. They also have a lot of menu options for people who don't like sushi. It's a great place for everyone to enjoy Japanese, some Chinese, and Americanized Japanese dishes!

If you go on off hours, there usually isn't a wait, but if you go close to dinner, you will likely have a bit of a wait. (even if you call in a reservation for a larger party). That being said, even when they are completely packed, the pace of getting your food and of service is usually pretty great. The menu has a nice variety, so even if you have someone that won't eat sushi they'll have plenty of things to choose from. A favorite of mine is the pink lady roll. I also love the pepper tuna. The one downside is that they price kids by height. So my son, who is only ten, has been an "adult" there for the last two years. Just be aware that if you have a tall kid, you'll be paying full price. If you like sushi, definitely give it a try!

Of course, this place is a popular place on the weekends with such a great price, but you can make a reservation.. and that alone saved us a 65 minute wait. It is beyond cool to be presented with a menu without prices for every item... because go ahead and order it all... it's a single price. They do denote a few items (lobster roll and a few combo hibachi meats) that would add additional cost. We went with a group of friends and were there for 2.5 hours of glorious food! Crab rangoons, egg rolls, shrimp tempura rolls, avocado rolls, tempura sweet potato rolls, chicken hibachi with noodles, vanilla ice cream... we ate!! The deep fried appetizers are okay, but the fresh rolled sushi... that's the kicker! You can see the seven employees constantly rolling up sushi as fast as they can, but it is so nice to have it fresh for everyone at an all you can eat (not like a premade buffet) The wait staff is constantly checking if you want to order more and they ensure that you get your moneys worth.

Modern furnishings, updated decor, and very well cleaned.. you feel like you are entering a high scale restaurant!! You grab takeout from the bar in the back and the kitchen staff brings it out nice and hot! I also... unassumingly... stopped by and met Tiffany ... just as kind and sweet in person as you can read through her reviews. Anyway... back to the review... I ordered Shrimp Tempura and Hibachi Chicken with Fried Rice and a Salad. The Shrimp Tempura appetizer was four large shrimp with an insanely crisp and tasty coating and sauce! (These may be a go-to for this tempura lover!) The Hibachi Chicken was a massive portion of veggies and protein.. easily enough to split. The fried rice was fluffy and freshly fried!!!
