A coworker recommended I try Sarpino's after hearing that I enjoy speciality pizzas. After looking over the menu on a lazy, rainy Saturday - I decided to pull the trigger and try them out. First things first - I love the menu. There are so many options that all sound great. The hardest part is choosing just one! So... I didn't. I ordered three personal pan size pizzas - specifically the Hot Honey, Santa Fe, and the Super Taco. I'm really glad I didn't just choose one. I have leftovers for another day and I truly loved all of them. I threw some jalapeños on the Hot Honey and the spice/sweet combination was phenomenal. I dipped the Santa Fe in the chipotle ranch and could barely stop myself from finishing the whole pizza. The Super Taco was a little bit hard to eat without making a mess due to the toppings - but well worth the challenge. I haven't had a good taco pizza in quite awhile and this one was tasty. Sounds like I'll be taking recommendations from this coworker more often because Sarpino's is the bomb. I'd definitely eat here over many of the other generic pizza joints in town. Everything about our thin crust pizza was really good -- except for the crust, which was soggy. How unfortunate, since this is our first pizza from Sarpino's New Hope location. We originally intended to order the Tuscany pizza but were informed over the phone our first selection was no longer available. So, we ordered the full vegetarian and asked them to add chicken, which they did. Voila! A morphed Tuscany! The sauce is perfect. It's flavorful and bright without being overly sweet or spicy. All the veggie toppings were fresh and proportional to our 12" pie. If the crust had been firm enough to handle the toppings I'd have given them a five star rating. It was a pickup order so no blaming a long drive through town for the crust failure. But we'll be back and give it another try. read more

First got hooked on Sarpino's when we lived close to the Roseville store. Fell in love with the Pesto Veggie. This New Hope store has been our go-to for two years now and we have ordered delivery countless times. I have also picked up from the store several times. We are fans! Occasionally there is a mix-up on the toppings, but for the most part the pizza we order is always amazing! My favorite toppings are the sun dried tomatoes and peppers. My husband loves the smoked bacon and mushrooms. The crust is chewy and the cheese is generous. A nice perk is free dipping sauce. We love the jalapeno ranch. I love this pizza place. It's my second place eating pizza here since we've moved and I liked this place much better than the first. They nailed the crust, crispy but chewy. Apparently, saurkraut is a normal topping that I've never seen before here in Minnesota. I tried it on a "build your own" pizza and loved it. We also ordered a build your own calzone (delicious, tons of options including some awesome sauces). They have delicious baked spaghetti, covered in cheese too. Garlic bread was amazing too, with basically just the pizza crust but all dialed in. I'll definitely be ordering more! read more

I had delivery for a group meeting which included pizza, salads, and a dessert pizza. Other than arriving a couple of minutes later than scheduled, I am very pleased with everything. I placed the order online the day before and designated a delivery time. I was able to pay online and received an emailed receipt. I have ordered here many times, so it hurts that I have to leave this comment, but I had ordered some food from here last night, and I saw that it was delivering late, so I decided why not? I ordered, and it took a call to the store, and three GrubHub agents to try to reassure me that the food was on the way. At this point, it was over an hour and a half late, I waited and waited, lost almost two hours of sleep because of it, so I will never order from this location again. I highly recommend that you don't order from this location at a late point at night. I was met with a snarky employee over the phone, and tonight was my final straw with this place. Was hungry and saw this pizza place, which I thought was an eat-in restaurant but it wasn't, but the guy @ the counter was super nice, and he sold me on getting a personal pizza. I chose Santa fè chicken pizza, and I brought it home. The pizza was PHENOMENAL. Since then, this is my go-to take out/delivery pizza. Top 10 reasons to order Sarpino's. 1) It' s New York Style Pizza. 2) Toppings: Quality ingredients, generously applied. 3) Crust: Fresh nicely crispy crust outside and when you bite in nice and chewing...so yummmy...comparable to eating a breadstick fresh out of the oven. Very soft, but not doughy. There are TONS of different dipping sauces to choose from as well. It makes the crust eating experience that much more enjoyable. 4) Sauce : so delicious! Ok great people of MN listen up. So I live in Colorado and I also have family in MN. In CO there are many good pizza restaurants and I'm happy with those. However, when I come to MN, It has now become a priority to get a pizza from Sarpinos.My discovery of Sarpinos happened 5 years ago at Thanksgiving ,yep they serve up tasty pies 365and Leap Year. Now if I come to MN at Thanksgiving, I make excuses to pass on Fresh turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, yams, green bean casserole, and homemade pies. Why? Definitely a staple at my workplace. They are on the slow side to order (usually 45-1hr), but if you plan for it then it's not a big deal. The pizza is fantastic - i personally love the Buffalo Chicken pizza (also exceptional as a calzone). It's my favorites, and I have tried about 4-5 different pizzas from here. Another co-worker tried the grilled-cheese sandwich and said it was great. I would love to try everything on the menu, and may just get there eventually! Great food, decent prices, and always very consistant. There are a lot of pizza delivery places around here, but I really only consider Sarpino's! Yummy!! read more

I love Sarpino's Santa fè chicken pizza, I haven't really tried too many different pizzas from Sarpino's, but that's only because it was love at first bite with the Santa fè. It is the equivalent of crack for pizza, and that says something considering it's a pizza chain. Every Tuesday I believe is 2 for one on ANY large pizza same or lesser value. Which is an amazing deal. My family orders it out of course so I have never actually been to the restaurant myself. But mantis good good stuff. My fiancé is a very very picky eater, and for her to try something new and love it as much a I do, well that's a five star award in itself. Hats off to you Sarpino's... But you should try and pick up your delivery speed... Just a bit. Other than that? Love it love it LOVE IT. Delicious pizza, with a crispy crust and tangy sauce. The quality of their toppings is very high, and the cheese is so good! We tried their calzones last week... they're huge, for starters (you could easily share one for lunch). But seriously, it was the most flavorful calzone that I can ever remember eating. After two hours i called and spoke to Mark the manager, who explained the order was never received OR it was delivered to the wrong hotel. He could not confirm whether my order was charged as he saw no history for the transaction. he did offer to recharge my account for the pizzas that never arrived. after calling grubhub who confirmed i had been charged i cancelled my order. I have had Sarpino's multiple times, quality is good, first location I had tried was Otsego about 10 years ago. When I first reviewed Sarpino's I compared it to a step above Domino's this was prior to Domino's "change of the recipe". Pizza is still good but is far from gourmet pizza they claim to be as for pricing I think they are overpriced and I would not eat here without a BOGO coupon Pizza wise and price wise your better with one of the other chains. If you don't mind paying 25.00 for a 15 pizza go ahead and order as I will agree with others they do have a quality pizza sauce but that is about the only positive I can give them. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 3 is because we LOVE their Santa Fe' Chicken pizza. In fact, it's the only reason why we order from them. It has chicken strips, bacon crumbles, red and green peppers, and an awesome chipotle ranch sauce. Make sure to get more chipotle ranch for dipping your crusts! We've tried their other pizzas and they were just "OK". If I remember correctly their taco pizza was more of a taco salad pizza. A big negative is their timing. They definitely take a lot longer to deliver than other pizza places. After ordering you're told you could have between a 45 and an 85 minute wait, and that's about right. I feel like almost EVERY single time we are considering calling to ask about our pizza and that's about the time it shows up. But if you're expecting it, it's not so bad, especially if you're expecting to have a mouthful of Santa Fe' Chicken Pizza once it arrives! Mmmmm. read more

Food was excellent....customer service was terrible. My friends and I ordered almost $90 worth of food this evening. My friend's husband picked up the order. When he got home we discovered that the four drinks, totaling $12, were missing. When my friend called to complain the response from the manager was abysmal. My friend was on the phone for over 30 minutes and he was unwilling to come up with an equitable solution to make things right. In the end we are out $12 plus no drinks. He offered a $20 credit which does not solve the issue of the four people who ordered pop and did not receive it or get a refund. In the end, blaming the customer for not knowing the procedure for obtaining pop does not engender good will or want any of us to order from Sarpino's again. read more

Trying out different pizza places in the area. Came across Sarpino's, and decided to try it out. It was okay. The cashier was extremely friendly, and there's a 20% discount for pickup on Yelp. The interior of the place is hanging on by the last thread. Soda coolers basically empty, and boxes everywhere. Looks like they might be closing? I got the double cheeseburger pizza, and combo wings. The pickles on the pizza were a nice touch, however it had a very thick chunky pizza sauce. Might be good if you're into that, it wasn't my thing. I ended up wiping most of the sauce off the pieces I ate. The combo wings are half bbq and half buffalo. I couldn't taste a difference between the wings at ALL. Neither had very much sauce. There were both kinds though, I think, because I smelled them, and a couple smelled like bbq sauce up close lol. The wings were big though, which was nice. I've received menus in the mail constantly from the NewHope store and kept throwing them away. I'm a VERY picky eater when it comes to my food! One day I received another menu and decided to try it. I ordered online because you get 10%off the order and they also have loyalty points. I ordered a GYRO sandwich since I'm middle eastern I LOVE GYRO. Delivery time was 1hr but at least it was FREE with no MINIMUM. When I got the food it was still hot and IT WAS AMAZING! Definitely would recommend to friends and family. Ordered online via Grubhub, and they responded saying "Hey, we're really backed up tonight, your food might take an extra 2 hours to arrive." That was fine, after all, it was 11:30 and Sarpino's is one of the few places that's open and deliver's that late. I was willing to deal with that since I was going to be awake anyways. 2 hours later, no food. 3 hours later, no food. The food never arrived. Eventually I had to have Grubhub cancel the order. That's bad, but frankly, what's worse is when I called the restaurant the next day to figure out what happened, the manager's response was basically "Okay, what am I supposed to do about it?" Maybe sound even slightly apologetic, or even apologize. Just once. Instead, he tried to justify that my food didn't show up because the order was canceled. Yes, it was canceled, but only at 3 in the morning, well after the intended delivery time. The customer service is horrible, and frankly it's clear I'm not the only one having this issue with them. read more

I get hungry just thinking about Sarpino's! My husband and I have done the carry out special (buy one pizza get one free) a few times with friends. The specialty pizzas never fail to be delicious. After we call the pizza's are usually ready in about a half an hour. The pizza is also really good as leftovers for lunch the next day. They may be a little more expensive than pizza hut but the specials make it reasonable and the taste makes it totally worth it. read more
