This is a great nail salon. They are brand new at the corner of Eagle and Ustick. The massage chairs are amazing, the decor is cool and relaxing, and they do a great job on nails. I thought the girls were really friendly and I enjoyed chatting while I got a manicure. I wish there was a negative star. I have given Sassy Nails more than one chance, tonight when I went to get my nails done I was the last appointment. They seemed like they were in a hurry to get me in and out. I brought a picture of what I wanted and what I walked out with was nothing close. I tried telling the man that did my nails that I wanted a different color but apparently he felt that his idea of what I wanted would look better. I was upset and asked the lady at the front desk how much to repaint them because I was not happy with what I received she quoted me $18. The man was rude and very rough with my fingers twisting and pushing them where he wanted them. I work hard for my money and get my nails done as a pampering treat for myself. This place is great. The staff knows the nail business and really goes all out on pedicures. Yulia does a great job and will never hesitate to return. Where to begin? To say great is an understatement... this is thee place I've been searching for! I really should have written this review at the beginning of the summer...but then I couldn't have been able to testify that their gel polish pedicures can last an entire summer without a hint of a crack (and I play sand volleyball)! They are very gentle (I know because I can admit I'm a whiny diaper baby about my toes) and very friendly. They dont ignore you and speak to other techs in other languages, (they know its rude and makes clients uncomfortable). They dont nickle and dime you for every teeny dollop of lotion or rub, but give you a full service pedicure. Today I walked in and within 30 minutes was finished! I am very disappointed with my entire experience. I have been going to sassy nails since I was in high school for dances and such and even more so when I got a job that preffered our nails to be perfect. I was consistently going and usually had a great experience. This time unfortunately was so bad I will not be coming back. They were overbooked (not my fault) and I had an appointment yet they were rushing my mom and I out. I got tossed between 2 girls multiple times. One started to take my polish off and the other shaped them and then didn't ask if I liked them and said she didn't have anymore time. So I felt uncomfortable and the other lady put the color on and I left (mind you paying $75). I called to try and make a different appointment to get them fixed on a different day and they told me no essentially and I need to be back that day to get them fixed. Tracy was so disrespectful on the phone and had no sympathy for the fact that my nails were not what I had asked for. The white lady with blonde hair was so kind and kept making sure they are exactly how I want them. She was amazing! Unfortunately I was so uncomfortable by everyone else and I felt like I was rushed and a bother to them. Tracy never apologized and didn't say goodbye when I went to get them fixed. It is so sad especially because I work in hospitality as well and understand how to treat people with respect and common decency. Thank you to the girl who fixed them she was very lovely! read more

I really don't have many complaints. They are fairly priced, have really talented people, and are usually pretty friendly. However, I'm not quite sure about their scheduling. They usually have a 10-15 minute wait time --at least. But they really are pretty good. I would still recommend them! read more

I have been coming here on and off for the last couple of years. They have always done a mediocre job, so they had been a good choice if I needed to get my nails done last minute. But after my last appointment, just a couple days ago, I will definitely not be coming back. The staff treated my friend and I with complete disrespect. If I could give no stars I would. Extremely rude. I called on a Wednesday at noon and asked if they had time in the next 10 minutes for a full set (because I was across the street). I knew there was a good chance they'd say no, but I asked anyway. She said no. Okay cool. I then asked, "Are you guys completely booked for the day?" To which she snapped back with "Well that's not what you asked, you asked in the next 10 minutes"... WOW. I replied, "Yes that is what I asked, and now I'm asking if you have other openings today." There was silence long enough to make me question whether or not the call was still live...then she finally said, "We have a 3:30" I sadly said, "Oh no, that's too late for me" AND was going to continue with "can I make an appointment for another day?" Before I could to that I was immediately cut off with "BYE" and hung up on. I have never been to this place and have my own nail tech who is AMAZING, but I was in a bind and thought I'd try them out because of their rating. NOPE. Made an appointment here for my wedding party to get Mani/pedis. I pacifically told this to the lady who took my appointment down. I don't know where things went wrong, maybe they didn't write a reservation down but when we arrived there was another wedding party all sitting together getting their toes and nails done. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes and then one by one they fed us in to the empty seats. The 'group' experience did not happen. Then they told us they didn't have time to do our nails just our toes. I was the bride so they did my nails and managed to fit one more bridesmaids nails in but they said it wasn't part of my reservation. The only thing I can think of is there was a language barrier because I made the appointment for seven Mani-pedis. The ladies were nice enough, and I was able to get a same day appointment. However, my pedicure took less than 20 minutes! There was absolutely no pampering. I have had pedicures and manicures here before and been fairly satisfied with my service (3 to 3.5 star rating, I don't like the red marks the drill leaves on my natural nail). I have had medical issues and not gone in for about a year. I tried to get a pedicure today and was told they would not allow my service dog inside. I pointed out that he is a registered service dog and was told that he was still not welcome. I have been going to Sassy for ten years and have been completely satisfied with a wonderful tech named Orianne. The other people all seem friendly most of the time except for the owner's sister, Kim. I have learned (and so has many people I have spoken with) to stay clear of her and tread lightly because you never know what she will do or say to you. At one appointment with my daughter Kim actually said "I can't believe she is your daughter, she is way too pretty" and it wasn't a joke. I didn't come back for awhile but realized I was hurting myself by letting an uncaring, naïve, selfish person keep me away from a relatively good place to go. Since then I try to call when Kim isn't there because if she answers the phone she is very gruff and mean and short. It is like she doesn't want you as a customer. But, today she hit it out of the park. I was getting my nails done and the salon was full of customers. Kim came up behind me and started tapping my shoulder and in front of everyone said "don't disrespect me ever again....you hang up on me...you hang up on me". I was so shocked, I didn't know what to say and couldn't believe she was berating me in front of my tech and all the customers. I burst into tears and she kept going....although I was too upset to hear exactly what she said after that. I didn't think I had ever hung up on her but you never know when she is done talking on the phone because she literally says three or four words and stops. I have been a loyal customer for a long long time and have sent many many people to Sassy. I cannot believe the owners would let one employee treat anyone like that inside their salon. Apparently family is more important than respect, business, and customer feelings. read more
