The rolls were really good. I will say the chicken karaage was a scam for $10. Portions size was laughable. I would come back but only get the rolls.

I was in this complex one evening and noticed this quaint sushi restaurant. I like their decor. Noted to myself to try them out and I did! Now I'm hooked and have been ordering take out frequently. My go tos are the Chirashi bowl and Mixed Sashimi salad and their various bento boxes. I love their simple and citrusy dressing for the salad and bowl. Not too tart and not too salty! Pairs well and brings out the flavors of the fish. Their fish tastes delicious and fresh. It has been consistently good and always packed so nicely. I plan to dine in next time for the experience. Super friendly and nice staff. I ordered one night literally right before they closed and they continuously packed everything well. Food tasted scrumptious and consistent.

This was a great little find after a long day at the beach. We had a party of 12 and they accommodated us with no problem. The food was delicious and I especially enjoyed the no rice roll options! The employees here were so kind and checked on us frequently to make sure to clear plates, refill drinks and bring us anything we needed. It's a quaint little casual place in a strip mall but they do offer indoor and outdoor seating options. It's not far from Huntington Beach so if you're in the area, give them a try. We also had quite a few kids in our party and they provided chopstick trainers for them :)

I honestly wasn't expecting too much from this small sushi spot in a suburban plaza, but okay prove me wrong! On a sunny weekend lunchtime, there wasn't many people, so we were greeted and sat immediately. We sat at the bar, and I ordered the 5 piece omakase which came with a miso soup and octopus salad on the house. The miso soup and salad were simple and pretty good. Since we were sat at the sushi bar, the sushi chef popped his head over the cases of fish, and asked what fish I would like haha I told him whatever he thinks would be good and he returned with an assortment of whitefish and toro (with some extra toro pieces on the side, yum). Each piece was super fresh and I loved the toppings and sauce on each one. Simply superb. At the end of the meal, we were also given a pack of strawberry pocky each, which was so cute and a perfect little sweet treat. Overall, really enjoyed my experience here. Pretty unassuming, looks like any ol casual sushi spot in the states, but it was really good! And much more than that!

First time trying Satoshi Sushi and honestly everything we ordered was so good We got the What Da Hell, WTF, Crazy Salmon, Baked Salmon, plus a bunch of other rolls and apps, and every plate that came out somehow became my new favorite. Each roll had its own flavor going on instead of tasting super similar like some sushi spots do. The What Da Hell roll had me stopping mid bite like "waittt hold on." The WTF roll was super fresh and the Crazy Salmon disappeared so fast at our table. Also the grilled salmon collar and shishito peppers were soooo good too. Service was really great the whole time. Everyone was nice, food came out quick, and the restaurant was super clean. I also liked the dividers between the tables because it kinda felt like we had our own little room instead of sitting right on top of everyone else. Definitely would come back again. We kept saying "okay this is the last roll" and then somehow ordered more LOL

When it comes to sushi, I'm very picky and prefer all you can eat, but in this case it looked really good on Instagram, so I had to try it out. What did you order? I was okay with ordering 2-3 rolls. I got Hell Yeah, Triple Tuna, and forgot the third one was called but they were all so good! Food came out super fast. It was a Sunday too. Plenty of parking! The place is small and cute :) I'm excited to comeback next time to try more sushi For drinks they have beer, hot & cold sake. Food was 10/10 for me :)!

Satoshi sushi is the best lowkey sushi spot ever and I am willing to die on this hill. You can tell the chefs LOVE their job.

Favorite Non-AYCE Sushi Spot. Sat at the sushi bar tonight, where the chefs behind the bar were real welcoming. First time this place has ever been crowded, which is well deserved on their side. Ordered the Hotate scallop nigiri, spicy garlic edamame, shishito peppers, yummy tummy roll, and fountain valley roll. All so fresh and so good. Quality fish and rolls, with welcoming vibes, so really can't go wrong here.

First time coming here and it will not be my last. I tried crunchy spicy tuna with soy paper and it was amazing , flavor, and cozy homey atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. I absolutely this place and lucky to live close by.

We came around 1 pm on a Tuesday and were immediately sat. The shop is relatively small and quaint, but has a very nice Japanese atmosphere that feels authentic. We ordered the Spicy Garlic Edamame, Salmon Sashimi, Salmon Avocado Roll, and the Dragon Roll. All these items came out very fast (only a couple minutes after ordering.) Spicy Garlic Edamame (3/5): Not bad, but not as good as other places I've had. The flavor could be more garlicky and savory but the edamame was cooked well. I like that it came with bonito flakes and the portion was very plentiful I would say. Salmon Avocado Roll (5/5): Very good! The fish was buttery and not fishy at all. Rice to fish ratio was well portioned and rice was cooked well (not gummy, still has a firm texture yet soft, and well seasoned). Also this basic roll was only $9 which I found to be very affordable. Classic but still delicious. Salmon Sashimi (5/5): Yall, this salmon sashimi was insanely good. While it was cut very thick (way thicker than I've seen in other sushi places, like almost 2 inches thick), the salmon was so buttery, soft, and melt in your mouth. Not fishy at all. I'm not someone that typically goes for sashimi, I prefer nigiri, but this was sooo good. Must try! It doesn't come with a sauce or anything, but the texture and quality is enough to be the star of the show. I didn't try the dragon roll but my friend said the eel was delicious. We were very satisfied with our meal here and the service was fast and friendly. Our 4 items came out to be around $50 which is not bad. We definitely would come back here again!

First time here for early dinner . Small & cozy Japanese business. Food is good with service is spotty, they're keeping looking around to check if there a table need something for help. Should be stop by here to try their sushi if you craving it.

I love Satoshi Sushi! Their fish quality is so good and I always order their crispy tuna rice and oyster uni. The food was so good I forgot to take a picture before eating. The staff is so attending the guy with the glasses was very helpful in explaining the menu. Their uni oyster is definitely worth it they give so much at such a good price as well.

Ordered delivery and the food came quickly and was packed well - they double wrapped the miso soup to prevent spills. The miso soup was tasty and they didn't skimp on the tofu and wakame. I liked the flavor of the caterpillar roll, but it was a little too saucy on the bottom so the rice was a bit soggier than I prefer. I would be down to try more of their menu.

Let it be known throughout the realm that I have discovered a tavern of such…read moreexcellence that bards ought compose songs in its honor and kings should send their finest knights to partake in its bounty. From the moment mine companions and I crossed the threshold, we were greeted with warmth and cheer, as though we were cherished guests returning home from a long and weary journey. Upon our departure, the farewells were equally heartfelt, leaving us with the feeling that we had dined not amongst strangers, but amongst dear friends. The atmosphere within was calm and comforting, familiar in a way that soothed the soul. In a world filled with noisy feasting halls and chaotic marketplaces, this establishment stood as a peaceful sanctuary where one might rest and enjoy a most noble meal. The serving folk were nothing short of extraordinary. Attentive without hovering, quick of wit, and brimming with personality, they carried themselves with the sort of genuine hospitality that cannot be taught by any guild or academy. Every interaction felt sincere and full of heart. Now, let us speak of the pan-fried gyoza, for I fear words alone may fail to capture its greatness. These glorious parcels arrived golden and crisp upon the outside, yet tender and delicate within. Each bite tasted as though it had been crafted by hand moments before reaching the table. Were I granted a chest of gold, I would gladly spend it all upon another plate. And lo! The White Peach Seltzer. Good people, I have sampled beverages from many corners of the kingdom, from noble feasts to humble roadside inns, and never in my years have I encountered a seltzer so divine. It was refreshing beyond measure, kissed with the perfect essence of white peach. Had a celestial spring existed in the heavens themselves, I imagine it would taste much the same. Perhaps most admirable of all was the story behind this fine establishment. The keepers spoke of their history and journey with such authenticity and pride that one could not help but feel invested in their success. Nothing felt rehearsed or hollow; their passion was as real as the food upon the table. I departed with a full belly, a joyful heart, and a solemn vow to return many times henceforth. This shall become one of my regular gathering places, and I shall recommend it to all wandering souls seeking comfort, hospitality, and a feast worthy of legend. Five stars. Five crowns. Five royal decrees of approval. "Should destiny guide thee to this ramen house, enter without hesitation. Thy taste buds shall sing songs of victory long after the meal is done."

[Missing noodles, expensive ramen, bad customer service, and no reason to come back.]…read more I visited this restaurant to place a to-go order and picked up my food during a late lunch around 1:40 p.m. I ordered two items, including a bowl of tonkotsu ramen. When I got back to work in Santa Ana and opened my bag around 2:30 p.m., my ramen had NO NOODLES. It was literally just broth and toppings. I called the restaurant expecting a simple apology and a reasonable solution. Instead, the manager would not even speak to me directly and chose to communicate through a waiter the entire time, which made the situation even more frustrating. We went back and forth multiple times with the waiter acting as the middleman. First, they told me I could come back and pick up the missing noodles. That was not realistic. I was already back at work, and it takes me about 25 minutes to get from Fountain Valley to Santa Ana. Driving all the way back for a side of noodles made no sense. So I asked for what seemed like the easiest and most reasonable solution: a complimentary bowl of ramen on my next visit. Instead, I was told no, but they could give me "extra noodles" next time. Extra noodles next time? What exactly was that supposed to do for me when I was sitting there hungry with no actual ramen to eat that day? Then the manager, again through the waiter, said she would personally drive noodles to my job. I even told them that did not make sense because by the time she got there, it would be around 4:30 p.m. At that point, my lunch break would be long over, the ramen would be cold, and all of it would be a waste of my time, her time, restaurant resources, and gas. But I agreed, because at that point it was obvious they really did not want to simply offer me a free bowl of ramen on my next visit. And to be clear, I was not asking for some huge free meal. I was asking to be compensated for the ramen I already paid good money for and did not even receive correctly. For how expensive ramen is, that should not have been a difficult ask. About 10 minutes later, the waiter called back and said the manager would give me a free bowl of ramen next time I came in, which was the exact solution I had suggested from the start. I can only assume she realized how far the drive was and how unnecessary and impractical that solution would have been. Mistakes happen. Forgetting the noodles was one thing. But the way this was handled was unnecessarily difficult, inconvenient, and honestly kind of absurd. I did not ask for a refund. I was looking for an apology and some common-sense customer service. Instead, I got a lot of back-and-forth and a manager who would not even speak to me directly. Kudos to the waiter for doing their best to mediate the situation. Even they thought the situation could of been handled differently by the manager. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to others based on how this situation was handled.
